It's great being able to make a latte and have it be near perfect an hour and a half later. Or having some nice hot tea without it going cold in 30 minutes. It's pretty overpriced, but it does its job and does it well, so it's hard to complain. As others have stated, the lid it comes with is pretty terrible. You're unable to open the lid and clean the inside of it, so it gets pretty gross after a while, and is highly recommended to get the sip lid instead. The Android app isn't great, but doesn't appear to be as terrible as others have stated. The updated Travel Mug may work better with the app compared to the older models. I took a few photos to compare against the red Travel Mug since I couldn't find any online.

Keeps coffee perfect temperature for the whole day as long you keep charger near by overall great product.

This travel cup is just outstanding the battery at 131 degrees will last almost 3 full hours. It charges quick. The interface on the cup itself and the interface through the app is great. It is high, but if you drink coffee over a couple of hours like i do, or if you are on the road a lot and want to keep your drink hot, this is the way to go. If you get it you wont regret it.

Bouth this for my girlfriend. She absolutely loves it! The click top is pretty cool. Lasts plenty long keeping your coffee at perfect temp while having an incredibly cool display showing your prefered temp.

This is a great cup i use it everyday when im cold i hold on to for lfe it keeps my hands and coffe warm

The quality is bad, the material does not keep the temperature warm and by having to heat it the battery runs out very quickly, in addition the cap breaks easily after a short time of use, I had to return it only after a month of use it broke down

Battery drains fast and at only 12 ounces its kinda hard to like it BUT i do. Keeps coffee hot for short period.

I purchased the Ember Travel Mug as a gift for my husband. He is always mentioning how his coffee gets cold rather quickly, especially while he is working outside. So I thought, let's give this a try. In addition to the mug, I wasn't sure of the lid, so I also picked up the sipping top. That one is still in the box since the initial lid has worked without spills and has been convenient to use. The price is steep, but the technology is great. He used the mug for a couple weeks though before going back to other brands because the charge only lasted about 3 hours and he had no way of plugging it in at his workplace. My recommendation would be for this mug to be used in an office environment, or if portable - where there is an outlet or ability to recharge nearby. I haven't searched to see if Ember offers another method of charging, maybe they do?

Stays just the right temperature and lasted 3 hours. Love the digital display and controls to monitor battery life and temperature consistency. Awesome product! Easy to hold and fits in the car cup holder like a dream. Very well balanced.

The mug works great at maintaining the temperature of the coffee when the battery is charged. My main complaint is the battery life is very short and it takes many hours to recharge. Once the battery dies the mug does not retain temperature well.

This by far was one of the most useful item I ever purchased. It keeps my drinks cold and hot. Battery life isn’t always the greatest. As long as you keep it charged it should do the trick. Be careful with the lids mine broke a few days ago from the temp.

The Ember Travel Mug is a Christmas gift. I have had the regular Mug for a year and have loved it. I love having coffee stay a specific temperature (my special setting) the entire time I am enjoying my drink. No more cold beverage! I've even put tepid tea in my mug and heated it to my preferred temperature. After a year of use, I think my battery may not last as long as it used to, but it is still keeping my drink hot for 2+ hours. The mug was purchased on a black Friday deal.

Does everything as advertised. I've had the Ember Mug in my office, but like this for car trips or other times I can't have the Mug. If you're using it in the car, you need the car charger. The battery on these things is really not good. Other than that, works great. I look forward to when they sell bigger sizes with better battery life.

Overall a good Ember mug. Two gripes. First - I'm not a fan on the lid design. It can be very slippery & pushing in the middle to "Open" it is not very hygienic. Second - Is there a particular reason that this mug cannot share the power coaster with Ember other bugs? Overall a good product. As with their regular mugs this works great!

I have a busy household that often takes me away from my coffee several times during the morning. This mug maintains the perfect temperature for much longer. Takes a bit of time to charge the mug back up again if you don't use the coaster.

This is my second ember mug and I use it every day. It keeps the coffee hot without being hot to the touch on the outside. I have an extra charging coaster at work so that I can keep it hot all day while I’m there.

This would get five stars if it held more fluid, kind of small and I wish the battery lasted longer.

Greatest invention since sliced white bread! Keeps my coffee warm seemingly forever and even has an app that tells what my temp and when to recharge. Not sure how I would get on without this!

Great product! Keeps beverages warm and the top of the cup is great and versatile. Very user friendly definitely recommend
