I prefer iced coffee in general since it’s already cold so I don’t have as much of a time crunch to chug it down before it gets to a temperature I don’t like as much. Trying out this Ember tumbler has changed my mind about my preferences somewhat since I now have a much larger window to drink a nice hot coffee before it cools off. That window of time is a little over 2 hours from the moment I started brewing before it starts to run out of battery and things cool off, but for what I needed that is plenty of time. It is not very well insulated though so when that battery runs out the temperature of your drink will drop very quickly so it’s best to finish it before running out of battery. It’s a bit weird having a Bluetooth connection and an app for a coffee tumbler but it exists to set temperature and check battery status and that’s just about it. The default is 135 degrees for coffee and for me that has been just right, but if you change it in the app, it will remember that new temp until you change it again. It has a little led indicator close to the bottom that is white when on and working, and it turns red when battery is low or it’s charging. For charging it includes a little saucer that explicitly states when you open the packaging that it cannot get wet at all. I don’t fully understand the use of metal contacts on the cup and charger when induction technology has existed for a long time that can charge things like toothbrushes even if they’re a little wet. As it stands, the warning about the charger makes me a bit nervous when cleaning the tumbler to make sure it is 100% dry before placing it on the charger which then takes about the same amount of time to charge as it lasts keeping the coffee hot. The tumbler itself is quite heavy due to the metal construction and the battery and other components inside it but thankfully most of that weight is in the bottom so it is very well balanced. It’s a little wide so it definitely won’t fit in all cup holders, mine requires a little bit of a squeeze to get in there which is a bit uncomfortable. It does have a power button on the very bottom, but it also automatically detects liquid and then shuts off on its own when empty if you finish off your drink before the battery dies. Lastly it includes 2 lids, one conventional sipping lid with a slider for closing it, and the other has a handle and is totally leak proof but has to be removed entirely to access your drink. It feels nice, looks understated, and does exactly what I hoped it would even if it has a couple small drawbacks. If you are a connoisseur of hot drinks, then this is a great option for making that experience more enjoyable.

The tumbler lasts a long time heating. The sipping lid is awesome. It’s the perfect size so it’s like a monster drink but instead it’s coffee, and it keeps your hands warm. I love everything about this thing.

If you want to reheat you will want to have a charger with you because you will drain your battery trying to reheat. You do want to have an already hot drink to maintain a hot temperature, battery works great for that.

It works great but i always have to charge it to warm up my drink. The insulation doesn’t keep it warm after heating it up.

Bought this for my wife for Mother’s Day as she was always talking about how her coffee would get cold while working. She absolutely loves this Mug, being able to control the temperature has been easy and convenient.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and it was such a great purchase! He uses his mug every day, and it keeps his drink warm for hours. The mug is kinda pricey but my boyfriend is a big coffee drinker so i figured it would be worth the price and I was not let down.

I used it every day for about 2 months and then eventually the battery would only hold a charge for about an hour at my preferred temp setting. . I tried lowering the temperature setting to help extend the life of the battery. Then it got to the point that the coffee was no longer as hot as I would like. I ended up returning within the 2 month, Total tech return window. I do have to say that the quality build of the product is excellent. Unfortunately, my expectations of getting a few years of solid performance was not met. So I could not justify the $150.00 vs ROI.

Pretty good mug, feels high quality. Easy to clean, the one top with a spout comes apart. I am picky about the bottom of it being dry before I put in the charger cause that might be fragile. Can be a little too big for some cup holders, it doesn't fit all the way in my car. The app can be finiky about connecting with the mug.

This is one of the best things I bought since slice bread. I like hot coffee and was always getting up every 20 minutes to go to the microwave and reheat my coffee. Now this cup keeps it at a perfect temperature for hours. very Happy

This cup keeps my coffee at my desired temperature for about two hours on the go. At work I keep it on the charger and it stays all day. It is easy to set up with your phone. I love having my coffee at my preferred perfect temperature from first to last sip! I have one at home and one at the office.

Bought this as a gift for my wife, she cannot start the day without her coffee. She uses it every day. She sips her coffee over hours, and this keep it the perfect temperature.

A wonderful product to keep your drinks warm with a click using your phone. This is that one thing I would love to keep specially during busy hours when I have no time to warm my drink. I am a big time coffee lover and this has taken care of my needs so well. A must buy.

Ember is awesome. I definitely have no complaints, but after owning it I do wonder how they justify the price tag. However, I would buy another for my wife if the one I bought tore up, as it does allow her to maintain and drink hot coffee for a couple of hours and she loves it.

Got this for my husband he loves it, the coffe stays piping hot for a really long time. It’s actually a huge cup so it doesn’t fit ALL cup holders.
