I purchased this set on impulse to teach myself how to play the acoustic guitar. I love the sound of the guitar. The lessons are easy to learn for a beginner, but you need to be able to devote time to the lessons.

Great for a beginner, good price. Recommended to anyone trying to learn how to play the guitar.

For what you're paying, it's a good beginner system. The videos make it a better value.

I've always wanted to learn guitar and picked this package up because my friend really liked Emedia Guitar Method. This pack is a really good deal because it includes guitar method, a good guitar and other stuff you will need. The guitar is pretty good for the price. I'm still learning but it is easy to play and sounds good. The guitar method is very easy to follow along with. It starts with easy to play chords, so you are playing songs right away. On the CD is a tuner, so you can tune your guitar. The program also teaches you how to tune by ear. I've been really into it, so I'm pretty far into the lessons and am starting to learn a Stones song. As I'm getting into harder stuff, they have some great tools to help you learn. You can slow the songs down and take certain parts you are working on and create a loop to practice that part over and over until you get it. If you are just starting out and don't have a big budget, this is a great deal.
