This seems to be a good unit...what can I say? It gets hot and the price was right

Very Awesome Heats Up Quickly It's Perfect Love It.

I bought this unit because I lost the use of one of my stovetop' s coiled burners. I' ve used the product multiple times and observed 2 characteristics worth noting. It requires much more time to heat up than my stove' s coils and the unit' s housing gets VERY HOT. This makes me wonder whether the coiled version of this portable unit might be more energy sufficient and thus the better choice vs. this single-plated design due to the heat transfer issues. Additionally, I was charged an undisclosed fee of $2 when I purchased this item online.

Get hot fast and really hot temp and good to use outside cooking

It’s a good price and it works well. My mom uses it to cook certain foods outside. She likes it a lot.

It broke within two weeks of minimal use and is pretty small.

Heavy chemical smell for first use. Do not use this indoors for first use. It has a chemical coating that needs to burn off. If you have to use this burner, do it outside in a well ventilated area. Even after the first use, it still smells. Don't buy it.

A great little hot plate to have. It works great .
