Great show, went off the air 3 years before I was born so I didnt grt to see it when it originally aired. This is the 5th of 7 seasons. For a show of its age it has aged very well. The situations the episodes about came from real life cases. A spinoff of Drsgnet it ends with a similar text appearing on the screen announcing that the story told there was true and names were changed to protect peoples privacy.

I have watched some of the episodes and the play back is very good. Picture quality is very good and it is refreshing to be able to watch these programs with out all the profanity and blood and gore that seems to be in so many programs today.

if you like the old Emergency!: you will like Emergency!: Season Five i got it for a great price too

It's so nice to have the shows all in the case for an entire season!

Watching period pieces can be hard for some people. For me, watching some TV Shows of yesterday is wonderful. The level of language and violence is no where near today's TV. The stories we're real and the actors where people you could get close to from a distance. I hope Season 6 and 7 are on their way to DVD. I would recommend Seasons 1-4 if you enjoyed Season 5. I enjoyed Season 5, watching some episodes as a child with my dad and later in re-runs.

This is the best season there is out so far.It has a lot of good scenes on it a lot of medical calls and a lot of structure fires on it.It is so good

Love the old time shows. It doesn't have all the newer technology to make things seem unrealistic.

There was obviously a production problem with the master film from Universal, because this set had the same problems as those encountered from Amazon.
