It look nice, but after 11 month of usage it broke. It did not stop and after some time the coil become covered with ice. Got refund though.

This Unit works very well. It's been so rainy that my downstairs apartment has gotten damp. In one day of use I could feel the difference. I like the looks of it, it runs fairly quietly for a dehumidifier, and the filter is easy to clean. I like that it automatically shuts off when full and that it also tells you when the filter needs to be cleaned. Also love how easy it is to roll from room to room on its casters. The only thing I don't like is the handle to lift the bucket out. I have found that you need to be sure to lift straight up and not tilt it at all or the handle comes off. It does hold a lot of water so I try to empty it before it is totally full.

Easy setup and run. Good instructions. We are pleased with the quiet run and the efficiency of this unit. We have owned two other brands and this is by far the best we have ever owned. Very happy we stepped up a grade in quality.

Easy to install and operate. Small flaw in that the hose had a slight kink. Repeated squeezing improved flow somewhat but will need continued attention to get back to full flow.

It is very quiet and is doing a great job at removing the moisture in my basement. It removed the moisture in a rapid time frame.

The unit I received was drop shipped to my house. From day 1 the unit was as noisy as my previous unit was when it started to fail. I returned it and went back to a Frigidaire brand since that was in stock at the store. Pro's: 1) Bucket is light. Borderline "flimsy" 2) Air is pushed out of the top of the unit, instead of the side. 3) Filter easy to remove, but seems like it would rip easily. Con's: 1) The bucket handle comes out of the holder anytime you tip the bucket...so when removing the bucket, you must pull the bucket straight out. When dumping water out of the bucket, you need to hang on to the bottom of the bucket in case the handle comes off when you start tipping the bucket. 2)Air was always warm coming out of the unit. 3) Might be the lemon problem, but if I set the unit at 45, it would sometimes still be running at 35 and other times would not run when the unit would register 60. Seemed to pick and choose when it would run. I would try another unit, but nobody has them in-stock near me, and shipping the unit to my house didn't work out the 1st time...

Very efficient dehumidifier. Outstanding product at very good price.

I had a 50 pint version but it was a little noisy and the basement would occasionally smell moist with a few days hard rain but not with this unit, plus the hose drain I ran into my sump and now I don't have to remember to empty. So far very happy with purchase.

Works well and easy to maintain. Very quiet and portable.

I had a Frigidaire that was quite noisy. Seeing the name of this model - Quiet Kool - I got it hoping it was a lot quieter. It isn't. In fact, it developed a vibration rattle the very first day. Overall, it is nice looking and does a great job of moisture removal, but it is not as quiet as I hoped. It is mind-boggling that vibration rattles happen and they are very annoying to listen to.

This is the 5th dehumidifier we have had in 26 yrs. It is the quietest one we have had. It isn't causing problems that others have. I would buy it again. The only thing is it didn't with a hose, big deal though.

Replaced frigidare. Glad i did this unit is silent compared to the frigidare unit. Works great for basement.

Takes the humidity out,it is quiet but not totally cool.Although it is cooler than other brands.So far it is working with no problems.

Overall I'm happy w this product, the drain tho should be at the bottom rather then the top but other then that runs amazing and quiet

This unit does remove the moisture from the air well. It's attractive and I like that it blows the hot air out of the top of the unit, instead of the side like my old one. However, I would not recommend this unless you're just using it to keep the moist smell out of your basement. It is NOT quiet. If you have this anywhere close to a television, be prepared to blast the volume in order to hear the show you are watching. The lights on the unit are bright blue. If you are using it in a sleeping area and are sensitive to light, this will light up your room. I tried calling Emerson and kept getting hung up on so I finally emailed them the query only to find out that the lights cannot be dimmed. Overall, for the price, I expected more but this unit is too loud and the lights are annoying.

Have it in the basement. Quieter than old one. Love it.

I use this in my basement where the sump pump runs constantly - being in Michigan where the water table is very high. This works great and keeps the humidity down.
