I absolutely love this show. its raw and leaves you wanting more. I can watch this over and over and wi ll never get board. I can't wait for season 3 on dvd.

Terrance Howard is playing this role to the maximum. Cookie compliments this dramatic duo. All other actors have significant impact on the success of the this series.

What more can be said than it is a very entertaining show. It has it all murder, betrayal, suspense, forgiveness and so much more all done in a glitzy story. Enjoy!!

I missed the first season when it came on tv and I was bummed but then I was like I will wait until I can get it during the black Friday sales for a great price! :)

This was a black Friday special. Excellent show, now I can catch up on all I have missed from the first season. If you love hip hop/rap music this show is for you.

After watching the first episode on fox, I was hooked. So I had to get the DVD to watch over and over again. Terrence Howard and Taraji P Henson are magic together.

A great deal on an entire season of Empire. Never had time to watch it so owning the dvd I watched at my own leisure. A terrific ensemble cast. Entertaining show

this show is a must see! watching the Lyon family run their music empire is so addictive. great music! great guest stars! great gangstas!

I was able to watch a couple of episodes that I missed in season 1. I started from the beginning and watched the entire season on a rainy Saturday afternoon

I had to purchase this collection because I wanted a moments from the series phenomenal success. I got the album; I might as well get the source. Right?

I love the 1st season of Empire! The characters are multi dimensional; and the story-lines draw you in so that you have to find out what happens next!

After watching this first series just knew I had to have it in my collection,,,can't wait for the next series to goto dvd, also purchased sound track

I just started watching this DVD after hearing all the good reviews. So far it is a good show and I'm enjoying it. Would recommend it for people who enjoy musicals or music within a show. The only comment I have on the DVD itself is I wish the episodes on each disc could be flipped to more easily, you have to navigate them one by one.

If you haven't seen Empire, you might be the only one. You're on an island alone. Does that make you feel good. No, no it doesn't. Watch Empire.

At first I was reluctant to engage in this series but once I did, I became hooked. Can't wait to get the entire series in my collection.
