Worst Download Site

Unlike other download sites, eMusic doesn't allow you to preview its line up. You are forced to sign up to check them out. Once on their site, it's impossible to find anything by doing a search. A search by artist name will return pages and pages of results because they look for anything with the first name and anything with the last name, NOT the entire name. I have better things to do than go through those lists. Cancelled my subscription 10 minutes after signing up.

Sheesh!
If your a regular robot who is in heaven listening to top 40 radio and have no interest in broadening your musical horizons, you don't need eMusic.
Go to eyetunes where you can get your DRM fix (google it) with the latest Britney/Whitney Houston/etc., although they won't sell you anything for less than .99 per track and you won't own the music either.
To be fair, I'm not sure when the above comment was written. If you have looked at eMusic in the past you might do yourself a favor and look again. They have added a lot of the more mainstream artists.
Lots of the Sony catalog is now available.
If you're tired of all the product pushed on you by radio and MTV and looking for something interesting/different, Emusic is the answer. and as cheap as .40 per track at that.

If you want to have any good music you will have a hard time getting it here. lala.com rhapsody and napster are miles ahead of this junk. It doesnt even deserve a one star rating.
