Great action in this cop film, including a couple of actors I enjoy watching. Movie hits full range of emotions.

This movie is almost like a documentary movie. So if you like movies like that and love drama this is a movie to see!

this is a great cop movie to add to your dvd collection

Not normally into cop movies but I loved this one!

While an excellent movie, director David Ayer could have played the edge-of-your-seat suspense card a little more. He did a great job of making you feel like you are on patrol with these officers and that you have a personal connection to their family and social lives, and this makes up somewhat for the lack of climactic buildup during many powerful scenes. In doing so, when the officers are caught off guard, the audience is empathizing with them and not really noticing the rapid transition from the introduction of the particular conflict to its resolution. The film depicts that while good people are needed to do these kinds of jobs, sometimes good people have to be able to dig inside themselves at times and find enough bad to be able to do, and to sometimes cope with doing, these kinds of jobs. Every active or retired police officer or armed service member will be able to connect and relate a personal experience to some aspect of this film.

I throughly enjoyed it but felt moved by the ending.

When I went to see this movie, I didn't really expect much from it. Then I saw it and by the end of the film, I was floored. Everything about this movie was great, and I knew that right then and there I would have to buy it when it came out on Blu-Ray. The acting and the story line between these two partners is so in depth and dramatic that everything about it feels perfect. The way the two characters work off of one another in their interactions, as well as the story between the two and the relationship makes you feel as if you know them as well as they know each other. Which I guess if you're watching the movie, you kinda do lol. If you have not seen this movie, do yourself a favor and pick it up and enjoy everything about it.
