I bought this to replace an older model light. I need the RED light strapped to my head while flying in airplanes at night, in case the main lights were to fail or not work properly. Having a smooth adjustable angle adjusting capacity for those jobs is critical and this newer model makes me nervous as it is not as smooth as my previous lamp. The rest works great: attaching head strap to head, turning on/off. For the RED lamp, it's easy to hit the right side to turn it on, and the left side to turn it off. If you forget that sequence, you'll have excessive white light quickly bouncing back off the dashboard which risks some temporary blindness. That is always my additional concern. Typically, I squint or close my eyes until I know the red light is turned off correctly.

Bought these to use for night sky parks (for the red light) and while camping. Does the trick and lets the kids read at night (while camping) in their tent.

This headlamp is very bright and offers very useful modes. Its battery life lasted me throughout my entire 2-night camping trip.

I should have had one of these years ago, everywhere you look you have light and two hands to work with. I still have my flashlight but never need it now. Actually this is much brighter than my flashlight.

I love this light for shoveling snow at night in the winter and for doing projects outside after dark. It would work for snowshoeing also. Great item!

Having a light on your head leaves your hands free to fix things in dark corners or carry things with both hands. Especially good when the electricity goes out.

It worked really good for every day home tasks. The light itself is able to tilt down in two slanted positions so it can illuminate any direction you need.

I've got a bunch of headlamps and learned very quickly to look at how bright they are. This is plenty bright for any application.

I love these lights for walking my dog in the evening. They have a wide lens that shine better for seeing where you are walking then to just focus a beam of light.

So I mostly bought this as an impulse buy, but it turns out my dad ended up loving it, uses it for work.

Used this for cub scouts. Easy to use, bright, good head strap.
