In my use of this it seemed to last longer than the one that came with camera!

Excellent Quality From A Trusted Name

Enough to give a person a heart attack. Energizer is a trusted name. Way much cheaper too. So I tried it and liked it. This fit my Canon EOS Rebel SL1 and works perfectly.

Surprised at the brand change

I was expecting to receive the Energizer battery as shown in the photos but received a Bower brand battery instead. Apparently, I'm not the only one. Fits the camera well, though, and holds a decent charge.

A quality battery for a cheaper price

This is the better option. There are other brands out there that are also cheaper then the Cannon original battery but I never heard of those brands and I am not sure of their quality. At least Energizer is a trusted name. After all, the camera cost hundreds of dollars, I'd prefer to protect it by using a trusted battery brand. I bought this battery as a back up and so far no problems and I don't expect any.

I do seem to notice that this battery does hold a better charge, meaning that it lasts a bit longer compared to my original canon battery.

Dont buy for canon camera

I bought one and it expanded and got stuck in camera. I was lucky to get it out the slot finally. A big lesson learnt, Go with official battery.
