Bought this as an open box item. Was excited as it was in perfect order so, $120 was a really good price. When I used it while watching a bluray, it kicked in nicely and I thought - wow, what a great buy! Then I tried it watching regular TV, and without the receiver being turned up really high, it doesn't kick in with any real power. I am hopeful it's just a setting, but I've tried everything and can't figure it out. So, for now, I'm watching TV extra lod to get the effect until I either fix or bring it back. We'll see. I'd recommend it since it works well with bluray and it's most likely ME.

Got this as a clearance at my local store - for just 100 bucks. It is a perfect match to the Klipsch Quintet I got for 150 bucks!!! Energy is a subsidiary of Klipsch. Has the exact crossovewr match point I needed for the entire set to sound perfect! One reviewer here claims that the sub has NO power - I think that reviewer just did not understand that they had to program their receiver to accept/register the sub properly...too bad for them. Do not believe that review - it was user error not hte product for sure. This sub works and is a great value for 100 bucks - get one at the 100 dollar price point before it ends... :) Good luck!
