Was looking for floor standing speakers to replace in-ceiling speakers for improved sound quality. I already have Energy center speakers so familiar with sounds quality. The Energy CF50s were remarkable when compared to speakers costing twice their price. The clarity is remarkable and brings a life like sound into my room. The highs were especially clear without sounding overly bright. Overall, great speakers for a competitive price.

I was hesitant on purchasing but at the sale price of 220$ a piece I just couldn't resist anymore and caved in. I have to be honest, these towers are crisp, clear, and provide a nice low/bass. I was debating between Energy towers and Klipsch towers and I have no regrets! I have these hooked to the rocketfish wireless converter and have no issues, all powered by a Denon receiver accompanied with Polk Audio satellites. At 220$ you just can't go wrong!

I bought this product as a replacement to the single cube Bose speakers which were over 9 years old. Right out of the box, the speakers looked quite elegant. I bought some RCA cable and hooked it up and could immediately hear the difference at the low and high end of its frequency range. The tweeter and the base are better than my Bose speakers, but the sound quality was definitely better on my Bose. An additional factor to consider here is the output itself. I have a Yamaha receiver which is entry level and that impacts the performance of the speakers quite a bit. The receiver is next on the list of upgrades to get more out of the speakers. With the Best Buy discount, the speakers are a great value for the performance they provide and I am gald my made this purchase.

Simply put these are amazing speakers for their price. They include a lot of premium quality parts internally for the asking price. When I first hooked it up I was blown away by the soundstage these speakers put out. When listening to music, vocals came from the center of the listen position, the instruments came from either left or right depending on their placement when recording. Classical music sounds amazing on these speakers. Movies sound amazing, watching Band of Brothers, Avatar, and many other Blu-ray movies I heard things I never heard before. Even compared to movie theaters. My only complaint was that when listening to them the bass was a bit tubby on the low end. So I plugged the ports which did reduce the frequeny response, but that is what a subwoofer is for, so the bass is tighter and matches my subwoofer better. In the end I could not be happier with my purchase.

I was a proud owner of bose, after a year, more than 50 films and trying to set up the sound, my subwoofer stopped working, the warranty has expired. (For some reason only have one year warranty). I went to shop at bestbuy magnolia's room, one of the employees spend more than an hour showing me sounds and comparing prices, I buy a pair of energy, the sound is more pure, the direction of the sound is awesome, the music sound is crisp.

I'm not a speaker pro. I took my speaker pro neighbor with me to help me decide on an entry level Magnolia speaker set. The Energy set of 5 speakers is where we landed. I upgraded from a micro set of Boston Acoustics speakers purchased nearly 10 years ago. I'm in heaven now. The center speaker is crystal clear. HD movies are insane on my 10 year old Denon Receiver. I was going to upgrade my receiver but have opted not to for now as I'm at a whole new level of sound quality even with my antiquated receiver. I have no negative feedback whatsoever. I believe I've been running these speakers nearly daily for about a month now. No regrets.

I purchased 6 months ago and they are more than I expected . They are fabulous

These speakers sound great for movies, but I added a sub (Velodyne off of ebay) to balance out the low end. They are crisp and not too sharp compared to the Polks I compared them too, but the Polk had a better low end. I went for clarity of voices over the thud of action sequences...that's what the sub is for.

you won't go wrong with these speaker, specially when they are on sale, i bought mine for $200 something each, so it's a very good deal! i put those on my bedroom and it works perfect, if you want to use it in bigger space, i'll say the CF-70 will work better.

I love my Energy Triple Tower speakers and they work well as a set of 6 speakers to give me true surround sound. Just love the way they fill up my living room with top notch sound when watching movies.

I cant be any happier with this speakers! Now im gonna upgrade my center with the CC-10 to complete the whole front sound.
