Epson unmatched in a world of carbon copies

The Ink Aisle in itself should have its own zip code, do you need ultra, what does xp mean, whats the difference between 200 and 202. Heres a few things to know the number represents the size and specific unit that your printer requires to work effectively.Getting that out of the way leaves you open to use your own decision making skills regarding the style weight and depth of the print that will be the identity of the documents you create. Epson stands tall above its competitors, the colors are vivid and dimentional, and the greyscale range is both fluid and sharp. So no matter what type of document you are preparing, Epson will deliver final copy results far beyond those expected. I recommend Epson 200 series, for Combination Fax/Scanner/Copier machines, the length of use is phenomenal and is paired with top notch image that rival the higher priced inks.

The Epson Printer I purchased that uses this ink was a great value buy! However I'm beginning to think Epson makes its money back with these ink cartridges. They print great quality pictures, documents & Internet screen shots. The down side to these particular ink cartridges are that they tend to run out of ink rather quickly. They are rated for 200 pages, but I mostly print out plain Word & Adobe documents and I'm lucky to get half of that rating. (100 pages if I'm lucky!) Other than their short lifespan they are of a decent quality as printer ink cartridges go. (I would recommend purchasing in pairs. That's just my advice, because that's how I go about purchasing these Epson printer ink cartridges....)

It wasn't until after I spent countless hours troubleshooting my printer that I realized that the ink in these cartridges goes bad over time. My wife and I do not normally print things on our personal printer at home all that often. After months of not having anything to print, when we do attempt to print something, the color is normally off because the ink in one of the cartridges have gone bad or dried up. I have found that even if the ink level says that the unit has plenty of ink, if you haven't used your printer in more than 4-5 months, you should probably think about replacing the cartridge to save yourself the headache of hours of needless troubleshooting.

Unfortunately, the ink cartridge for me ran out of ink too quick. I found out through this printer brand, "ESPON," that through ink tests, it uses up ALOT of ink. I was having issues with my printer printing color. I did the ink cartridge recharge and whatever the process may be to fix it and realized that each time I was trying to fix it, the ink cartridge was running out of ink quickly. By the time I "fixed" my ink, the cartridge was completely empty. I wouldn't recommend the brand ESPON to anyone seeing that it gives me a lot of issues and the ink doesn't last too long either.

Cleaning Sucks a Good Portion of Ink

I really like the concept of being able to change individual color cartridges on the Epson printer but the priming and cleaning process is a real ink hog. Every time you put any color cartridge in, the process of priming and cleaning drains all the others substantially. For some reason, I have had a failure rate of with new, black, OEM cartridges of 50 percent. It is no problem to exchange them but as mentioned above you go through a lot of ink from the other cartridges in the process of getting one working. Epson recommends trying to clean 4-5 times and you can watch the ink level on the other cartridges sink.

I find this ink to be affordable, to the point that finding a discount brand or attempting to refill it is not worth the while. I am a grad student, so I am regularly printing out word documents, but I find that it doesn't last quite as long as I would like. I know there is a larger version, and I have yet to test it to see if it is worth the money. My advice would be that if you leave your printer set for more than a week with this cartridge, you may wish to do a nozzle check before printing anything, as it seems to have erratic printing after sitting for a while.

This laptop is wonderful for its power and yet its portability. I wish it had more USB ports, but I guess its number is relatively standard. I love the facial recognition. I researched laptops carefully and narrowed my choices down to three. My decision to purchase this one was driven by it having by far the best keyboard (in my opinion). Coming off 10 years using a more traditional style keyboard on a Dell, I found this HP's keyboard to allow me to type the fastest and most accurately.

Avoid Epson printers and ink at all costs

I have never been satisfied with any Epson printer. The printers, if your lucky, will last about 6 to 8 months before they no longer want to print, copy, or scan, not to mention they love to forget how to detect your Wi-Fi connection. The printer ink seems to run out after you print about 25 pages, and that's the XL print cartridges. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money to buy an HP printer and ink. I would definitely give a 0 star rating if I could as I feel 1 star is even being too generous.

Cartridges work as advertised. If your Epson printer works anything like mine, you already know that the option to print with black ink alone does not work, nor will it work when any of the color cartridges are empty. I don't have the need to print often and yet I go through 3-4 cartridges per year in each color. Therefore, I keep all colors on hand at all times making it convenient when a cartridge decides it's going to lock up the whole print option. Buying in a multi pack makes it cost effective.

I've had no problems with the Epson 200 ink cartridges. Print quality is good. Generally I purchase the 200 XL for black cartridges as they have a longer life and are a better value. Your Epson printer will give you a message stating that your ink is low and it is time to change your cartridge well before the cartridge is empty, so I keep the cartridge in until the print fades on the paper and all the ink is completely used.

The ink quality is nice, but the cost of it is ridiculous! It prints great text and regular paper pictures (I haven't printed pictures out on photo paper yet) but at the rate I'm going through the ink and the cost of it I wonder if it would be cheaper to just buy a new printer!! And it asks me if I would recommend it... I'm saying yes because again the quality is great but I wish there was an option for "yes, but would warn said friend of why it gets less than 5 stars"

I chose Epson as my recent printer because 1) the ink is reasonable, and 2) the separate colors seemed more versatile and economical to me. I've had my printer about 3 years now, and it has been everything I expected. These ink cartridges are easy to change, and I only have to change them when they are spent, color by color. I'm happy with my choice! This ink dries quickly and is virtually odorless. Nice product!

This is for my Epson XP-400. The cartridge is easy enough to pop in / out of the printer. My only issue is with frequency of replacement. I use this primarily for work, and it seems like I have to replace the cartridge whenever I need it most. I know there is an XL option on these cartridges, but I haven't made the switch. At $12-$13, the price is reasonable, but it adds up, which of course is how all these small inkjets get you.

I've owned several inkjet printers, as well as being in charge of 40+ laserjet printers as an IT professional. I love Epson inkjet printers and the subsequent ink cartridges that they use. This cartridge lasts a long time and the quality is great. The cost is average, but they outlast comparable HP's by quite a bit. Recommended this same item to my IT manager and he is very happy with it as well.

Epson 200 INK is not expensive to buy, but it seems to yield very few copies. I am changing BLK ink every month, like under two hundred copies per ink container. I am beginning to count exactly how many it can yield per change. But compared with the high cost of ink for others, I figure $200/yr is not bad. Therefore, because of the affordability of the ink, I do recommend this.

I like Epson printers because they make very sharp images and I like the ink because it is water resistant. The only problem is that the ink cartridge doesn't last long enough. I know they make most of their money on the ink, but do they really have to sell you so little ink per cartridge? I would be willing to pay more for the cartridge if it had a lot more ink.

Got a really good price on a hard to find cartridge due to having an old printer that is still going strong. Stay with name brand cartridges as the generics will ruin your printer. This has happened to me. You don't save money if you have to replace the printer and generic voids the warranty.

The cost per page is within 1/2 of a cent of the 200XL. My usage rate is so low that with the 200XL I would have been investing in capacity that would take a year to use. Installation took 2 full on-off reboot cycles of the printer to get it to recognize that it was a genuine Epson ink cartridge, but once it did, everything has been fine.

original ink cartridges are always the best choice if you want consistent quality printing. Cut rate remanufactured carts will usually work, but not always and not as well. Spend the extra money and get the real deal, in the long run you'll be happier with the product. Epson makes a reliable cost effective product that works for business and personal use.

Best Buy's price is competitive to other retailers. Only problem I have with this cartridge is that I avg about 25-30 printed sheets (combination of plain black and white and color) before the low ink warning flashes on my computer screen. If you do a lot of printing I would probably suggest you look for a printer that has a large quantity ink cartridge.
