    While I have not yet determined the longevity of the three color ink cartridges, I was astonished to see expiration dates of March and April 2006! The cartridges were probably manufactured about 12 years ago. I purchased original Epson cartridges from Best Buy anticipating a positive experience. I should have returned them but did not open them until 5 months after purchase. Buyer beware.
