Beautiful! I needed an inkjet for starting my clothing small business and in order to print on iron paper you’ll need inkjet along with a lot of other projects. I used to have Canon inkjet but the cartridges were expensive, the quality was poor, and it constantly stopped working. Set up was fast, quality is clear, colors are vibrant (I printed this on my phone so it’ll look a lot better if you print on your computer) and it’s small which is a plusssss.

I really like this printer! I have been using it for over 2 weeks and I love it. It is very economic, easy to install, wireless, and simple to use!!! It does 2-sided printing and the ink seems to last a long time. It is not painful to get ink from the store anymore ($$$). Buying this printer was a great investment!

This printer (unlike every other printer I’ve ever had), was extremely easy to set up! I promise you that a 5 year old child could set it up properly. I picked it up from the store 30 minutes after I bought it, and 30 minutes later it was fully set up in my home office. The ink worried me at first, as you have to dispense it yourself, but it is super easy and mess-free!

The Epson EcoTank Et-2760 was very easy to install using Bluetooth & my Mac Pro. The printer ink colors produced beautiful pictures for my photos & waterslides. I love that this printer doesn’t use ink cartridges, but no mess ink bottles. Definitely a money saver! I’ve only had this printer a few weeks. The only con at this time is the extremely small print on the front panel. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this printer.

I've been using this printer for a month now, and I love it. My previous one died after 7 years it was an Epson Photosmart, So I figured this was the next upgrade. It is, I love not having to buy cartridges, and the printer does everything advertised. If im lucky I won't have to buy another printer for another 7 years.

So far this unit has been working fine. It did take me awhile to get it set up. It's a compact unit so it fits on my boat well with limited space. A bit pricy but hopefully it will pay off with less ink cartridges etc.

Fair warning: this review is meant to walk a new user through the set up process describing features as I go. The Eason EcoTank 2760 has ink... lots of ink. I have to say, I was initially nervous about the ink system. Instead of having traditional cartridges, this model has huge tanks built in and you fill the tanks with ink from a tube. I initially thought back to refilling inkjet cartridges in the late 90s and I became nervous, but Installing new ink in the 2760 was pretty easy and I didn’t make a mess. The printer has guides to place the tube into and you can then hear the ink empty into the tank below. Then simply lift up and close the flap. On your first set up, the ink has to be charged. You’ll notice after you fill the tank the first time, some ink will be left in the tubes. Don’t throw those tubes away! After charging, the ink levels in the tank will drop and you can use what was left in those tubes to top off the ink tank. Then you follow the instructions on screen to decide which box looks better and be prepared to second guess your choices because sometimes it isn’t so obvious. I also have no idea what the recovery process would be like if you put the wrong colored ink in the wrong slot. I don’t know if there is any keyed protection to keep that from happening. So, please be careful loading ink. The initial set up process was simple enough, but the instructions on screen seemed to clash a bit with the instructions in the included print materials. After setup, you can decide whether or not you want to install software from Epson. I would recommend it as the printer had firmware updates available and it seems the only way to get those updates is with the official driver package. Also, I don’t think you can set up google or email printing without the official drivers. To get those drivers, have your model number handy (ET-2760) and go to epson.com/support. Download and install. Using the printer on Pc was easy. The printer will notice when you place new paper into the feed and ask you what size paper you want. However, I noticed that those paper size settings on the printer must match the paper size settings on the device you are printing from, or you can get print errors on Android. On Android devices, you must install the printer plug-in. I kept getting print errors with little explanation until I realized it was because I had a print setting of letter on my android tablet and a setting of 8x10 on my printer. Printing from an iPhone / iPad was easy. The printer supports AirPrint. Photos looked great. I have a comparison photo from Gettysburg. Both photos had the same print settings and paper, but the Epson printer produces a much more colorful print. I was definitely impressed. Copies weren’t as sharp as I would have liked. There are a lot of settings and perhaps I just need to play with it more. I wish there was a feeding document tray. Raising the scanner lid for multiple pages is a bit annoying when comparably priced printers have that feature. That screen is tiny. I had a hard time seeing it unless I was right up on it. So far, I recommend the printer. Time will tell how the ink and the print heads hold up. But for now, the printer does a good job.

The Epson EcoTank ET-2760 is a nice all in one printer that provides the basic functionality (copy, print, & scan) most people are looking for in a printer, but at a better value compared to most cartridge based printers. The main draw to Epson’s EcoTank line of printers is the “cartridge free” feature that not only offers convenience but potentially cost savings over the typical ink cartridge systems we are all too familiar with. Instead of wasteful, expensive cartridges that only last a few hundred pages; Epson designed a unique tank system that is easy to fill and reasonably priced. Each bottle offers up to 7,500 pages for black and 6,000 pages for color far exceeding typical ink cartridges. On top of the great yield of refills, Epson includes a set of ink bottles with the ET-2760 to completely fill the printer with enough ink for 2 years! Time will tell if I print that many pages in 2 years but it is nice knowing I won’t be hunting down refills anytime soon. The design is basic but clean in an all white finish. The ET-2760 ink wells are visible in the front, providing an ink level indicator. Navigation is performed with an adjustable control panel and is easy to use. Basic printing and copying works as expected. In addition to printing from mobile devices there is an SD card slot in the front for printing photos direct from a memory card. Epson even has a few builtin forms (lined paper, graph paper, music sheets, etc) are convenient but likely only useful for randomly needing a single form or two. A few things I wish were improved at the price point are forgivable at the cost per page this printer offers. I would have liked a larger display; the 1.44” LCD is manageable but older users may be put off by the small print. This model does not have a paper cassette, instead only offering a rear paper feed. Depending on your placement, you may want to consider the premium EcoTank models that offer a cassette feed. Scanning to you computer is limited to USB/WDS but with out a document feeder you likely wouldn’t be scanning that many documents anyway. The printer does what I need flawlessly, being able to periodically AirPrint a photo or document without worrying about the printer having enough ink is a winner. If you are looking for a no frills printer that won’t burn your wallet with ink refills, the Epson ET-2760 is a great value and highly recommended.

    Exceeded my expectations

Let's start this review off by stating that I have never really been excited by a printer. Printers do a number of menial tasks that you just don't think twice about. The Epson ET-2760 has changed all that for me though. Let's discuss why I feel this way. :::General impressions::: The ink bottles intrigued me right off the bat. Typically you would see ink jet refill bottles being sold as a "bootleg" option for many of the existing printers on the market. But Epson went and did something great and they are now selling ink refill bottles for their printers and it eliminates the need to purchase ink cartridges. In my opinion though the ink bottles would be the equivalent of the high yield cartridges that are on the market. You have four ink bottles and they are the typical colors which consist of Black. Yellow, Magenta & Cyan. This printer does all the typical things a printer does and that would be print, copy & scan documents. It doesn't fax and that is fine with me. I do not need that feature. I have never had a printer with an email address! I did not even know such a thing existed until recent. Once you have the printer set up and running on your network you can literally email documents to the printer and it will print immediately. I was honestly intrigued and impressed by this feature. It is a thoughtful and great feature to have. Let's revisit the ink bottles, The system that Epson came up with is easy and it just works. You remove the bottle top, and line up the corresponding bottle with the appropriate ink and it fits into place and fills the tank with little effort. I did not spill a single drop of ink while filling the ink tanks and that was a plus in my book I was somewhat hesitant because I assumed it would be a messy and timely task to refill the ink tank on this printer. I was wrong and in this instance I am totally glad that I was wrong. :::Pros & Cons::: Pros: - You can email documents to the printer - Ink bottle refill system is genius - small footprint on my filing cabinet. - Smart phone app Cons: - Only bad thing is the lack of an automatic feeding tray. I can spend days singing praise on the ET-2760 but I do not have time for that. So in summary this printer replaced an ancient Canon printer and now all my scanning and printing devices are strictly Epson. I have fully converted and I am not looking back I like the ecosystem and ease of use. I did not cover how many pages can be printed and how fast it prints because that is of little relevance to me. What matters most to me is the ease of use and the network features. I am intrigued by the ink bottle refill system. I have spent some time with the printer and it seems reliable and I am certain it will hold up just fine. This printer is just that a printer and it is not an all in one device. As long as you can accept that then this printer might just be for you.

A Printer that offers an alternative to cartridges

The Epson ET-2760 is a printer that offers refillable ink via ink bottles. The claim from Epson is that the ink bottles provided with the printer should be enough to last up to two years pending the amount of paper you print of course. The real question is rather or not it can live up to the hype and if its worth the buy or not. First off lets talk about what you can expect to receive right out of the box. Your going to receive the printer, power cord, and 4 bottles of ink. You will not get the usb cable needed to hook up the printer to your computer, you will need to either use your old cable, install it wireless, or go buy a new one. The ink bottles are your standard 4 color ink. My first concern was actually wondering how i was going to fill up each ink chamber with out spilling any ink. The nice thing is Epson obviously took this in to account and made this a worry free set up via the way of spill free bottles. The bottles contain a one way valve that will only allow ink to flow once it is mated with the proper ink chamber. Speaking of which i really like the fact that Epson made filling the chambers fool proof. Each ink bottle will only fit in to its specific slot and no other. This eliminates accidentally filling the wrong chamber with the wrong ink. The bottles provided are enough to completely fill the chambers to the top. Also they seemed to eliminate spilling ink by over filling. Once the chamber is full the ink bottle will stop adding ink. Epson also made sight glasses for each of the ink chambers on the front of the printer allowing you to visually see the current levels of your ink. The printer has a front mounted SD slot to upload and print pictures. It has a built in scanner for copying and printing documents. There is no photo tray either so if you wish to print photos its a real hassle as you have to install photo paper and re calibrate the printer to accept that paper and then change your settings on your PC and printer. One thing that stood out to me right away was the fact this is a top feed printer. The paper is loaded on the top rear of the printer as you can see in the uploaded photo. I hate this design and set up and i'll tell you why. This really comes down to personal preference. Every printer i have owned has had a separate storage for the paper which is usually located under the printer. This set up means the paper isn't exposed and is out of the way. I feel like a top feed printer is very old school and dated plus in my opinion it just looks a bit tacky. But hey that's just my opinion and maybe you don't feel the same way. Let's get in to the real meat of the printer, which is print quality. I have really mixed feelings on the actual print quality. For pictures and images the quality is ok and nothing to write home about. Colors seem a little lack luster and plain while the finer details seem to be a little hard to make out. The same is also carried over in to word documents. While printing up Resumes and legal documents there was something that stood out to me on this printer vs my old one. While printing anything above a 8 font, everything looks great and is easily ledge-able however when you get below a 6 font as you would in fine print on legal documents the writing becomes blurred and very difficult to read. Thinking this may of been a calibration issue or jet issue i calibrated the printer and blew out the jets and yet it still printed horribly on smaller fonts. I guess for me this isn't that big of a deal as i'm probably never really going to print that small anyways, however my old printer was able to easily handle it. For the most part the quality is good and average with nothing really to set it apart. The main draw for me was the cheap refillable ink that is given a two year claim pending how much you print. This is what really drew me to the printer as i have 3 kids that are in school and are constantly using the printer. I blow through ink cartridges every month and believe me it starts to add up. While the real test of faith is going to come from a year down the road one thing i can tell you is that i have been printing every day for almost a weak and have yet to see the ink drop in the sight glass even slightly. This is a good sign and brings me hope that the long lasting ink will be enough to distract me from its sub par print quality. One thing i wanted to note is that with this being a liquid filled chamber i was worried about ink run off on the paper and how fast it would dry. I will say i was pleasantly surprised to notice there was no run off and as the paper came out of the printer i rubbed my fingers over the ink and it was completely dry with no wet spots. Well done Epson. Here's the bottom line and my take away from this unit. You really need to sit back and see what it is you plan on doing with this printer. Are you looking something to print school documents and essays on a daily basis without having to constantly run to get ink every few months? Then this set up is right for you and anyone that has a large family. The given claim of the ink lasting roughly about 2 years should be enough to draw any large family or college student that is on a budget. The fact that it can print (both wired and wireless) and scan documents means that it will be able to handle your every day needs. Now if your looking for a printer that can do photos or print vivid image quality then this is a unit your going to want to pass on. Its lack luster color and blurred finer images will leaving you wanting more. Aesthetically there is nothing special about the way it looks and prints. For me this is just a plain old average printer, however the refillable ink chambers giving way to years of use before the need to refill is a strong suit. In a world where the cost of living keeps rising but pay stays the same its high time we need to find ways to expand our money and make it last longer. I think Epson may of done a fine job of that in the way of giving us ink that shouldn't need to be changed for a few years. For me the savings alone is enough for me to look past the fact that this is an average unit at best. For me and my family i feel this printer will fit the bill perfectly.

This is a terrible printer. After a firmware update “last year” the printer has been inoperable. Nothing has been able to fix it. If Epson firmware updates will destroy printers they should not release them. Shame...
