This printer (unlike every other printer I’ve ever had), was extremely easy to set up! I promise you that a 5 year old child could set it up properly. I picked it up from the store 30 minutes after I bought it, and 30 minutes later it was fully set up in my home office. The ink worried me at first, as you have to dispense it yourself, but it is super easy and mess-free!

Beautiful! I needed an inkjet for starting my clothing small business and in order to print on iron paper you’ll need inkjet along with a lot of other projects. I used to have Canon inkjet but the cartridges were expensive, the quality was poor, and it constantly stopped working. Set up was fast, quality is clear, colors are vibrant (I printed this on my phone so it’ll look a lot better if you print on your computer) and it’s small which is a plusssss.

I really like this printer! I have been using it for over 2 weeks and I love it. It is very economic, easy to install, wireless, and simple to use!!! It does 2-sided printing and the ink seems to last a long time. It is not painful to get ink from the store anymore ($$$). Buying this printer was a great investment!

The Epson EcoTank Et-2760 was very easy to install using Bluetooth & my Mac Pro. The printer ink colors produced beautiful pictures for my photos & waterslides. I love that this printer doesn’t use ink cartridges, but no mess ink bottles. Definitely a money saver! I’ve only had this printer a few weeks. The only con at this time is the extremely small print on the front panel. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this printer.

I've been using this printer for a month now, and I love it. My previous one died after 7 years it was an Epson Photosmart, So I figured this was the next upgrade. It is, I love not having to buy cartridges, and the printer does everything advertised. If im lucky I won't have to buy another printer for another 7 years.

Fair warning: this review is meant to walk a new user through the set up process describing features as I go. The Eason EcoTank 2760 has ink... lots of ink. I have to say, I was initially nervous about the ink system. Instead of having traditional cartridges, this model has huge tanks built in and you fill the tanks with ink from a tube. I initially thought back to refilling inkjet cartridges in the late 90s and I became nervous, but Installing new ink in the 2760 was pretty easy and I didn’t make a mess. The printer has guides to place the tube into and you can then hear the ink empty into the tank below. Then simply lift up and close the flap. On your first set up, the ink has to be charged. You’ll notice after you fill the tank the first time, some ink will be left in the tubes. Don’t throw those tubes away! After charging, the ink levels in the tank will drop and you can use what was left in those tubes to top off the ink tank. Then you follow the instructions on screen to decide which box looks better and be prepared to second guess your choices because sometimes it isn’t so obvious. I also have no idea what the recovery process would be like if you put the wrong colored ink in the wrong slot. I don’t know if there is any keyed protection to keep that from happening. So, please be careful loading ink. The initial set up process was simple enough, but the instructions on screen seemed to clash a bit with the instructions in the included print materials. After setup, you can decide whether or not you want to install software from Epson. I would recommend it as the printer had firmware updates available and it seems the only way to get those updates is with the official driver package. Also, I don’t think you can set up google or email printing without the official drivers. To get those drivers, have your model number handy (ET-2760) and go to epson.com/support. Download and install. Using the printer on Pc was easy. The printer will notice when you place new paper into the feed and ask you what size paper you want. However, I noticed that those paper size settings on the printer must match the paper size settings on the device you are printing from, or you can get print errors on Android. On Android devices, you must install the printer plug-in. I kept getting print errors with little explanation until I realized it was because I had a print setting of letter on my android tablet and a setting of 8x10 on my printer. Printing from an iPhone / iPad was easy. The printer supports AirPrint. Photos looked great. I have a comparison photo from Gettysburg. Both photos had the same print settings and paper, but the Epson printer produces a much more colorful print. I was definitely impressed. Copies weren’t as sharp as I would have liked. There are a lot of settings and perhaps I just need to play with it more. I wish there was a feeding document tray. Raising the scanner lid for multiple pages is a bit annoying when comparably priced printers have that feature. That screen is tiny. I had a hard time seeing it unless I was right up on it. So far, I recommend the printer. Time will tell how the ink and the print heads hold up. But for now, the printer does a good job.

So far this unit has been working fine. It did take me awhile to get it set up. It's a compact unit so it fits on my boat well with limited space. A bit pricy but hopefully it will pay off with less ink cartridges etc.

The Epson EcoTank ET-2760 is a nice all in one printer that provides the basic functionality (copy, print, & scan) most people are looking for in a printer, but at a better value compared to most cartridge based printers. The main draw to Epson’s EcoTank line of printers is the “cartridge free” feature that not only offers convenience but potentially cost savings over the typical ink cartridge systems we are all too familiar with. Instead of wasteful, expensive cartridges that only last a few hundred pages; Epson designed a unique tank system that is easy to fill and reasonably priced. Each bottle offers up to 7,500 pages for black and 6,000 pages for color far exceeding typical ink cartridges. On top of the great yield of refills, Epson includes a set of ink bottles with the ET-2760 to completely fill the printer with enough ink for 2 years! Time will tell if I print that many pages in 2 years but it is nice knowing I won’t be hunting down refills anytime soon. The design is basic but clean in an all white finish. The ET-2760 ink wells are visible in the front, providing an ink level indicator. Navigation is performed with an adjustable control panel and is easy to use. Basic printing and copying works as expected. In addition to printing from mobile devices there is an SD card slot in the front for printing photos direct from a memory card. Epson even has a few builtin forms (lined paper, graph paper, music sheets, etc) are convenient but likely only useful for randomly needing a single form or two. A few things I wish were improved at the price point are forgivable at the cost per page this printer offers. I would have liked a larger display; the 1.44” LCD is manageable but older users may be put off by the small print. This model does not have a paper cassette, instead only offering a rear paper feed. Depending on your placement, you may want to consider the premium EcoTank models that offer a cassette feed. Scanning to you computer is limited to USB/WDS but with out a document feeder you likely wouldn’t be scanning that many documents anyway. The printer does what I need flawlessly, being able to periodically AirPrint a photo or document without worrying about the printer having enough ink is a winner. If you are looking for a no frills printer that won’t burn your wallet with ink refills, the Epson ET-2760 is a great value and highly recommended.

When I saw the release of the Epson EcoTank ET-2760, I was excited by the prospect of having up to two years worth of ink without having to buy cartridges. In fact, this printer does not use cartridges - it uses ink storage tanks! The printer comes with four bottles of ink in black, red, blue, and yellow. The setup of the printer involves removing the blue strips of shipping tape from outside and inside the printer. Next is the filling of the ink tanks, which is done by pouring ink from the bottles into the individual containers. Do not worry, though. The process is as simple as raising the lid of the tank and inserting the nipple of the ink bottle into a slot at the top of the tank. The ink is gravity fed into the tank until it is full. Repeat the process for each color to fill the tanks completely. Next is the powerup and putting the printer into setup mode. This takes around 10 minutes and then is followed by printer head alignment. The Wi-fi configuration was a little painful since there is no keyboard and you have to use a tiny screen on the panel for switching through numbers and letters. A network configuration sheet confirms the settings. For registration of the printer, a sheet with the instructions is printed. Once the wi-fi configuration was completed, it was easy to locate the printer and print from my computers and devices. To take advantage of the scanning ability of the printer, I downloaded the ET-2760 Drivers and Utilities installer from the Epson.com site. A test scan of a full-color magazine cover in both PDF and JPG formats appeared correctly on my desktop computer. Scanned images can also be sent to a memory card, as an email format to a computer, and as WSD format to a computer. Photo quality copying of the color magazine cover appeared with clear and sharp details without any skipping or streak lines in the copy. Printing of a photograph onto photo paper also was clear and bright without any streaking. Overall, I highly recommend the Epson EcoTank ET-2760 printer for any home business or small business. It might be a bit overwhelming, setting it up and using as a personal home printer, but if you have some technical skills, you might be very comfortable with it. My only complaint with the printer is the very tiny display screen for the menu controls, which requires me to put on my reading glasses.

Man, I am tired of dealing with cheap piece of junk home printers. I went through two HPs with cartridge problems then bought this cartridge-less printer and it worked once. Now I can't log in to the website and I can't get any online support the decision tree doesn't include my problem. I am so sorry I bought this I live .2 miles from my office but I want to work at home! It's winter in Alaska!

This is a terrible printer. After a firmware update “last year” the printer has been inoperable. Nothing has been able to fix it. If Epson firmware updates will destroy printers they should not release them. Shame...

If you are the type of person that prints thousands of pages of paper at home, you know how it is to go through ink. With the standard inkjet printer you are talking on average less than 1000 pages to replace. With the Epson EcoTank they claim about 7,500 for one bottle of black which costs about the same as single black cartridge for the standard inkjet printer. So, the ink per page is far cheaper than other options out there. However, a “normal” inkjet printer with similar features, without the refillable tanks, is far cheaper up front. So, when it comes to this EcoTank series, it is all about comparing your usage. If you will be printing 7,000+ pages within 2 years time frame, you would easily make up for what you would have spent on replacement cartridges. If you are under 1,000 in 2 years, you might consider a different model. The Epson EcoTank 2760 took a bit longer to set up than the typical printer because you have to fill the tanks and let it load the ink. However, the process was fairly simple following the calibration and I was printing from multiple devices on my network in less than 30 minutes. With Epson connect and cloud print options you can print beyond your network, even allowing people to print simply by sending to a customizable email address. Network connection is 2.4Ghz b/g/n only and you can also connect it by USB cable, not included, or Wi-Fi direct. There is also a standard SD card slot if you want to print from a card directly. As for the quality of the printing, it is decent for general use. When using the default settings while printing photos, the pictures looked washed out and lacking detail. However, changing the printer options through the computer software to best gave it better clarity and detail, the colors still looked a little faded though. Printing black text is good and the tone difference is only noticeable when placed against a different printers text. Paper is back fed, up to 100 sheets. This is convenient if you swap out paper type often, or like to easily see the paper you have remaining without having to pull out a tray. This printer also does automatic double sided printing, but I found it to be a bit slow as it paused between printing the other side. The flatbed scanner allows for nice quality scans or photo copy, but it is single page scan, while their higher models have the automatic document feeder. Overall, if you are looking to print a lot and want to save from buying multiple cartridges over the years, this will get the job done.
