Customers are saying
Customers have good things to say about the EcoTank ET-4850's print quality, ease of use, and straightforward setup. Many appreciate its compact size. While some users find the noise level a bit high and have experienced challenges with the document feeder and scanning functions, the positive feedback on printing and ease of use outweighs these concerns for most. A few customers also mentioned the printer's price point as a potential drawback.

Workhorse and light on the ink!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this a year ago, and I am still on my original ink! I NEVER had this experience with HP. My HP printers failed, had costly print cartridges and always ran out of ink! The Epson is a workhorse! Only complaint is the ultra small screen. I have had wi-fi disconnect issues a few times, but I believe this was due to my router, not the printer.

Good economy printer, but too light printing.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great economy printer. The upfront cost was a bit high, but the ink refill are very cheap. I'd recommend this for high usage color or even black and white printing. Big problem is that the prints aren't crisp and bold. They're faded and light. We compared it to the Brother printer we had previously and it's night and day. But the Brother's ink cartriges were 3 times the cost than the ink for this Epson. So if you want economy, the Epson EcoTank is for you. But if you need crisp, dark prints, I wouldn't recommend the Epson. Hope this helps you making your choice.

All Smiles Here
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Connecting this Epson to my computer and printing, scanning, copying, etc. has for months operated flawlessly. I am especially impressed with the small color screen that is easily operated. I find it to be user friendly. Ink usage seams resonable.

Epson ET-4850
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Arrived well-packed and secure. Easy to set-up and connect to computer. Print is clear and sharp, colors vivid. Scans clear and sharp. My only complaint is that it is a bit noisy when printing. EcoTank should help lower overall printing costs as I was going thru a set of cartridges every 3 months on my old printer.

Perfect for home or small business!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this to replace my HP Color Laser Jet that died. For what I print, this is perfect. Great quality and fast. The scan and copy applications are terrific. Having the ink tanks is very nice. You can see how much ink is in the system and fill when you need to. It comes with a complete set of ink and one bottle fills each tank. For a simple All-in-One for home or small business use, you can’t go wrong!

A great Choice and Ink last a while
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best decision I made was swapping to this Epson. I had Epson's in the past and hesitant to buy but I have had for a while not and the quality of print, ease to print and the INK last over double from any cartridge printer I had in past years. I will stay with this type of printer. Easy to refill ink as well.

Good All-Around Printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer was easy to set up and link to the Windows PC and Samsung mobile phone. The quality of the output is quite good and the hope is that the operating expenses are much less because of the EcoTank ink technologies. The build quality seems good.

Good printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good little printer, it has a lot of really useful functions. It it great on ink. It is smaller and lighter than I thought it would be. I print a lot of art and photos and the quality wasn’t as good as I had expected. Just everyday and text printing is fine.

Great when it works, but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beware if you print infrequently like I do. My first print (per the print head check sheet) was 5/2023, so the printer is about 18mo old. I have printed a total of 958 pages in that 18mo period. I print about once every 2 weeks, and EVERY TIME I go to print there are gaps in the printing. I need to run the Print Head Maintenance multiple times (like 4-5 times every time I want to print) and even then I sometimes need to do a power clean before it will print. When it works, it works well, but to print a single page document and have it come out nice, it might take 20min of running the print head maintenance and take 7 sheets of paper (first sheet to see the document printed incorrectly, then 5 more sheets for print head maintenance, then finally the sheet with what you want in the first place). If it doesn't clean on the regular print head maintenance, the recommendation is to "wait 12 hours then run a Power Cleaning". Who the heck has time to wait 12 hours to print something??? I figure of the 959 sheets I've printed, the breakdown is something like this: 200 sheets are garbage - they were the sheets I wanted to print but came out bad so I needed to do cleaning. 600 sheets are print head maintenance. 9 are power cleaning sheets. 150 are the good documents I wanted. The bottom line is that this eco tank actually costs significantly more to operate than a traditional cartridge printer when you consider the WASTE of INK, PAPER and TIME having to clean the print heads before being able to get a decent print. Why 150 when I attempted 200? Because I gave up and used a different printer because I didn't have 12 hours to wait to run a power cleaning. For this review I just ran Print head maintenance #5 for today (bringing my total print count to 959). As you can see in the images, my ink levels are good but even after 5 cycles there are still problems with the black and cyan print heads. I could probably clear them by running Maintenace another 2 or 3 times, and maybe a power cleaning. Again, if I used the printer every day it probably would work much better, but I don't. I would not recommend to infrequent printers. For the record, this is my first Epson printer in decades; I had been a very long time HP user but abandoned them over their subscription only ink cartridges. HP might have had issues with their way they bring ink to market, but at least I could get a decent print on the first pass without wasting time, ink and paper.

Never going with HP again
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only usually purchase HP printers but have noticed over the years, I spend A LOT of money on ink. Shaq's commercials that advertise the ease of use of ink, and the cost efficiency definitely persuaded me to make this printer purchase. I've had this printer since 01/25/24, I print every day for my job; I have saved at least $65 so far, it's been a little over a month. I have not yet had to refill any of the ink tanks and they are still 3/4 full. Filling the tanks is easy, no mess. Setting the printer up wirelessly was a breeze. I can literally print from my phone. Speed of print is also awesome. For all functions included, price is great. It's the best printer I've ever purchased. Will never stray from Epson.

Great quality and super easy to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m very happy with this Epson EcoTank ET-4850. Setup was fast and the ink system is amazing—super easy to fill and so much more cost-effective than traditional cartridges. The print quality is sharp for both documents and photos, and it runs quietly. The wireless connection works smoothly across all my devices. Highly recommend for home or small office use!

Good Print for its price especially with the inc
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a good printer. Most of the time it has no difficulty printing black and accurate bright colors. With some print jobs, they don’t print correctly. Such as the print is too large for the 8 1/2” x 11” or it doesn’t print at all. What makes this printer exceptional, is the ink. The ink seems to go on forever. I print often and included the color on most print jobs.

The epson beats the HP
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price it can not be beat. I have used HP most of my life. I have had there color units and when I needed a new unit a HP was not available so I ordered a Epson. I had both unit side by side and when I compared them it was not even a contest the Epson was much more superior in color interpretation. I use it daily in my painting business--would not be without it.

Great Choice
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Eco Tank ET-4850 All-in-One Inkjet Printer is super easy to install and is user friendly. All of the functions have worked smoothly and efficiently since I installed it last month. It operates quietly and reliably, though printing is a little slow. I've had many HP printers over the years and decided to try an Epson when my HP 8600 abruptly stopped working. I really like the Eco Tank concept rather than having to purchase expensive individual ink cartridges. I highly recommend this Epson All-in-One!

Pleased with this Printer
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have never tried Epson before and was very happy with results. Quiet and able to get lots of copies made with minimal ink usage is a plus! Still getting used to the front touch screen. I'd drop a star because it's small, but it's easy to navigate so far, so the star remains. The print quality is perfect for photographs.

Printer replacement
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First ink tank printer I have purchased. So far so good. Easy to set up. Tired of purchasing cartridges, but do not print slot. Told that I should at least print something ever two weeks. My multiple HPs have died after two years.
