This projector is an upgrade from what I have been using for presentations for training and meetings. First of all, the overall appearance of the projector is nice. I can easily set this up within minutes. The projector is bright enough to be used within a well-lit room.
The carrying case that comes with the projector is well designed. Like how some of the other reviews stated, it only has a manual keystone correction, but it is not a deal breaker and it is very easy to use. The only down side of this projector, is it does not have a built in wireless adaptor, it has a USB wireless adaptor with a guard you would need to screw into the projector. It just gives me a little uneasiness of it ever accidently breaking during transportation. But overall a really solid projector.
It has a good range of inputs (USB-A, USB-B, A/V RCA, Computer, HDMI), Plug-and-play.
It runs quiet, even on the brightest setting with the internal fan running.
If you are in the market for a professional projector to mount in your conference room, or a mobile one, this may be the one that you are looking for!

Simple Review: For what you get in the box and the performance of this projector there is no doubt in my mind that this is an easy recommendation.
Long Review: Let's start off with the unboxing experience which I'm just gonna say now all projectors put it in a basic straightforward cardboard box and I would love to see some manufacturer try a little harder. Past that though I was really happy to see a carrying case for this projector since I use mine for a few things but one being presentations inside of stores. Besides the case you get your usual cables for computer hook up, power cable and the only thing it didn't provide was an HDMI.
Once you get to performance this is where it really shines. I wasn't expecting much just a decent enough picture to display my presentations but after setting it up and trying it out just in my room as a Bedroom TV. I have to say I'm in love! The quality of the color but it's the brightness which I actually had to turn it down since it was too bright for me.
To wrap up the little gripes I have about presentation of the unboxing or the things your not provided like an HDMI. This projector is great, it's lightweight and performs like a champ. I would say it easily worth your consideration.
Thank for reading my review.

Bright And Clear Business Projector - But Slow
|

The Epson EX5260 Wireless XGA 3LCD Projector is a bright and clear projector with XGA 1024 x 768 resolution - it is amazing for presentations and text projection but probably is unsuitable for home cinema applications (the resolution here isn't 1080p).
But for business applications, the EX5260 is pretty powerful: 3600 lumens of color and white brightness so presentations are clear and beautiful even in bright sunlit rooms, the built-in speaker is loud and clear, it includes a high-speed LAN module for wireless connectivity, and it supports HDMI connectivity.
The real selling point for this projector is its brightness and clarity (especially in its color reproduction). But there are some performance and other issues that need to be addressed:
--Pairing the Epson over wifi with my smartphone and with my computer was very simple but navigation was clunky and slow - there were operational lag times that were consistently frustrating. Once an application was running, performance seemed fine - but I don't understand why the navigation was so interminably slow.
--Setting the Epson to run through a USB cable (from my laptop) was not at all intuitive and the quick setup guide was not helpful. Establishing a USB connection requires a separate utility from the larger Epson projection utility. That seems like a really poor application design. And if you establish your USB connection in such a way that your audio output is through the projector, you have to change your audio output back to your standard source after you unplug the EX5260 (my laptop didn't even revert to its own speakers after I rebooted).
--The projector will take input from a wifi connection, from HDMI, from a VGA cable, and from a USB cable - and the EX5260 came with a wifi dongle, a VGA cable, and a USB cable - but no HDMI cable. I will never understand why devices with HDMI inputs always fail to include an appropriate cable.
--The wifi capability is achieved through a dongle - there is no wifi connectivity that is actually wired INTO the projector - it is instead a separate dongle that is plugged into a USB port in the rear of the projector and locked into place with a screw-in support. But the projector cannot be carried (in its included case) with this dongle installed and it sticks out from the projector just begging to be broken-off at some point over long-term business use. I included a picture of this below.
--The utility for the EX5260 is a disaster - very unintuitive and confusing (though for the most part you probably need to get the setups done only once).
From a visual standpoint, this is a five-star projector. But I gave it four stars because I don't understand how a respected brand name company like Epson could make such sophomoric design and packaging decisions. I took away a star out of frustration.
But the boldness and clarity of the projection are unparalleled.

This is a review for the Epson EX5260 Wireless projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.
TL\DR: This is the best projector I have owned and replaced other items in my tool kit. This become a daily player in my work life, which requires presentations at client sites. The colors are bright and crisp. And really adds to the professional feel I always try to make. It might cost a little more, but well worth it. Video is crisp and rivals a 1080P large display. (Bottom display is my 55" 4k, top display is the projector). And it makes a fanatic 100 inch ‘monitor’ on the wall of a conference room. I wowed my boss and clients alone. As it easily fit into my laptop bag.
Viewing angle: With the attached pictures, notice I took them directly in front of the display. This is because I can easily have the projector 30 degrees to the side! I don't have to find that perfect exactly center area when I go to a client. I just have to get it in the general direction, and the projector cleanly changes the angle. This makes it worth it by itself.
The unboxing of this projector is the beginning of the pleasant experience. The device itself comes stored in a travel bag in the box, and the cords are easily to the side. It was easy to unbox, and I knew everything was snug in there. Build quality is excellent, and feels robust and professional.
Setup was a breeze, but the CD that comes with it is a throwaway. Go to the Epson website and download the software, especially if you want to use the wireless feature.
Wireless is the one downside to this projector. I was excited about it, but wireless is only almost built in. It requires (and comes in the box) a USB wireless dongle. Which sticks out of the back pretty far. It has this plastic thing to keep it secure, which requires a screwdriver. You can’t leave it in during travel periods, and it becomes just one more thing to deal with.
The wireless works great for presentations, documents, and pictures. Don’t attempt video. It is not like a Chromecast, and video is too choppy.
My toddler didn’t like it when I plugged a Roku in the HDMI port. She found the sound quality poor, and the fan was loud. Pictures of her as a baby, incredibly popular as the colors really pop.
The fan is not too loud for business, or personal use. However, the heat is pretty strong coming off of it. It dispenses well, just remember to ventilate it. And, turn it on for a while out of the box. It is a manufacture smell. That goes away and is ready for use.
Build quality: 10/10
Powerpoint, pictures, and charts: 10/10
Video from wireless: 2/10
Video from HDMI: 9/10
Sound from speaker: 5/10
Sound from external source: 10/10
Recommendation: BUY

Great Projector At Bargain Rate

I purchased this unit on May 25, 2019. I am one of those customers who returned the eBay international versions that claim 8,000 lumens with 6,500 contrast:1 ratio and you can't see the picture in a fully lit room. Additionally, the picture is not as bright and colorful even at night; however, this is not a review about those inferior projector products.
As for the Epson EX5260, initially, I was skeptical of this projector having only a listed 3,600 lumens with 15,000 contrast:1 ratio showing visible projected images in my fully lit living area turned man cave; I was so wrong!! See the third picture. Even at XGA resolution which is not 1080HD, the picture appears to be HD quality. Additionally, setup was a breeze. If your screen is 16:9 ratio, this projector still works with a 16:9 or auto ratio that blackens the 4:3 native ratio-it makes your 16:9 ratio screen appear to have lightning at the top and bottom (e.g., Aeon screens with optional light kit) where the 4:3 native ratio would project. Kinda cool in my opinion because I don't have to install a light kit around my screen to take pressure off my eyes in the dark.
Other cool features, the wireless works like a charm, but you can upgrade to one of the new fancy anycast streaming drives if you are a gamer. I love the lever for turning off the lamp and projection as well as those for optical zooming. The remote works beautifully-unlike the international versions. The only two drawbacks that are easy remedies are as follows:
No audio out (as other customers have pointed out), but I have a surround speaker system that uses optical audio that I plugged to my cable box and Playstation for continuous high def audio for cable channels and everything else through my Playstation 3: Problem solve
Second drawback, only one HDMI input. Remedy by using a HDMI port that allows up to 3-4 HDMI inputs with the flick of a switch.
Fantastic purchase!! Highly recommend for the price even at $599 though I got it on a $50 discount from Best Buy the weekend of May 25, 2019.

Good Projector

I wanted a projector that I could carry with me for presentations. In the past, I've volunteered on various parent boards, and have been occasionally been called upon to present material. Having a portable projector would have been handy.
The unit comes with a basic black carry bag. You can technically put all of the peripherals in it (cords, remote, instructions) but it's not the most secure bag for anything other than the projector.
The first thing I needed to do was install the Wireless transmitter. I was taken aback by the fact that the wireless capability was not integral to the unit. Per the instructions, you are supposed to screw it in the port to stabilize it. It even comes with a bracket to do this, but I didn't find this to be practical for porting the unit around. It needs to be removed to put the unit back in the bag.
Hooking it up to my wireless network was not intuitive, so I tried the Quick Connect first. This allows you to connect directly to the projector using a wireless connection. I was using my Android phone to utilize the projector, using the Epson iProjector app.
You connect using a QR Reader, which is super simple to do. Then you can broadcast PDFs, photos, videos, or the unit can show your phone screen so that you can use other apps (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc.) The caveat is that, using the Quick Connect feature, you cannot access the Internet. I had to look up how to run the projector through my Home Network. Then, I could use those apps to show content.
There will be a slight delay in video playback, and it isn't consistent. For example, I went to YouTube via the web page option, but the videos wouldn't play. I had to go to the YouTube app to play video
The resolution is rather mediocre, so I wouldn't plan on using this for a Home Theater. Photos showed well enough.
You can also draw on photos or PDFs, which is a nice feature. You can also allow others to present and control content by making them Moderators. They don't need your phone to do this - they get access from you to broadcast through the app. In addition, you can use multiple devices to present, either all at the same time, or one at a time.
The unit comes with a VGA cable, a USB-B cable, the power cable, a remote (w/batteries), the bracket, and the transmitter. There is software you can download from Epson that will allow your computer to control the projector.
All in all it's a good projector for basic purposes.

Easy to use. I like the auto adjustment for projecting at a steep angle. The best feature is the 3600 lumens especially for the price. Quickly cools down, no need to wait 5 or so minutes for the fan to shut off. I like the sleep feature which still keeps it on, but doesnt display a picture. Menu is easy to use. Very clear picture.

This projector is perfect for a a smaller room (say 15 people seated in a U pattern) and projects bright enough to leave all the lights on in the room. That's critical if used for training as I did. Worked perfect right out of the box. For larger rooms and more people, you'll probably need a more powerful unit. But it's great for typical size training and meetings.

Great office/home projector

I found myself quite surprised at the image quality of this data projector slated for use in the office type setting.
It is very bright and clear. It takes a little while setting up the projector, but it makes it easy as it automatically scales the picture depending on how far away it is. It does have finer adjustments once the picture is set. You can adjust focus, rotate the image for multiple room angles and adjust the wideness level to make the image a bit bigger or smaller to fit.
One nice thing is how small it is. It comes with a carry bag, several cables, a remote, and an internet adapter for streaming from wireless devices or wireless projection from a laptop or desktop with those capabilities. I found wireless projection very laggy, but it is based on the speed of your home/office network which mine isn't very fast so it will probably stream very smooth on fast connections over 50mbps. It does not come with an HDMI cable so you will need one to use that. You have to download the Epson projector app on your tablet or phone in order to use the wireless projection on those devices.
The projector is great in multiple scenario's, like on a tabletop, or mounted to the ceiling, or projecting from behind a screen. It has options for those within the menu to adjust the screen accordingly. It does have adjustable feet on the bottom and a small retractable leg that pulls out of the front for tabletop use to adjust projection height. It does heat up pretty good with long use so having it in a ventilated area will definitely help.
The audio output is ok for basic sounds/music, but I would recommend running the source through an audio receiver first if you will be listening to a lot of audio or are presenting to a large room. There are no audio out ports on the projector and really only works for the HDMI setup, which I would highly recommend behind wireless projection.
The clarity of the image is great for a data projector. It doesn't claim to be an HD resolution but it definitely is while connected through HDMI to a source that can output HD signals up to 1080p, like a desktop or laptop.
If using a desktop or laptop you will need to adjust the display settings on the computer in order to project in full screen mode. It took me a while to figure out, but I had to make the projector the sole output source. It won't display in full screen if using screen cloning.
The image is very bright and sharp. The LCD's definitely bring out the clarity of the image for use in very bright rooms, and also works well in any room lighting. I'm not sure on the total size of the screen you can get, but when pointing the projector at a wall from 30' away, it filled up the entire wall with an image, with pretty good resolution from what I could tell. If I had a backdrop screen big enough it would be like sitting in the movie theater.
Overall this projector would be a good buy if having something portable is what you need and also use in bright lighting or in a school classroom or at home or really any situation. It's like a "Jack of all trades" projector, with out all the bells and whistles of a nice home theater projector, but still gets the job done, and looks good while doing it.

Our church recently puchased this projector to display the lyric media during our services. It works perfectly! We rent the building we use so we are unable to get wifi, but the LAN connection perfectly mirrors my phone screen and my tablet so we are able to cast our media with no lag or imperfections. The color is great also. We usually only have it set up about fifteen feet from the wall, but our old projector was no where near this clear in bright sunlight. We love this and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable tool for your arsenal. The thing with the wireless dongle is kind of annoying that it won't go into the bag as directed with it attached, but if you put the projector in the case backwards it fits perfectly fine!
