I have been on the projector search for a while and I finally settled on this particular projector for several reasons. We love outdoors and being the mom with an open door for all friends and friends of my kids, I wanted an other reason to keep them at home instead of getting in trouble - especially during football season. We had an opportunity just the past weekend and although I didn't have a screen, I used a drop cloth in the meantime. It worked great! I connected the DirecTV to the projector and bam, we had AU football! We loved it! Ok, the sound is different. You'll have to get RCA connecting speakers for this. I just recently got a sound bar, but not sure how that will work out. I really wanted other speakers to place facing us, making it more of a surround sound and I'll do some more researching for that aspect. However, for now, this is awesome. We even watched AU before the sun went completely down. LOVE IT!

I bought this projector to enjoy games and movies while we camped at campgrounds in our RV. I added a screen which I put on the side of my camper with suction cups. The picture is ok during the day but after the sun goes down it is amazing. I was very hesitate to spend the money but boy am I satisfied.

The EX9200 Pro delivers premium, WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) and the latest connectivity.
WUXGA resolution is ideal for detailed charts, graphics, video, and excel spreadsheets with 4.5x more resolution than SVGA to project in Full HD 1080p.
10000 hour lamp reduces long term cost to own
Wireless is flawless, built in, quick connect, qr code ready, and intuitive
Videos are flawless, now this is not built to be a home entertainment projector but it outperforms most of them in the sub 800 dollar range.
Performs better than most of the 3000 dollar ceiling mounted projectors at my company
High quality, present with confidence to top level executives.
Highly portable.
Not as loud as one may think.
At first power up you think oh that's a bit loud, but as you acclimate the white noise actually helps, or is drowned out by audio
Lots of connections
Perfect for chrome cast
Flawless picture for both powerpoint, videos, charts, even at 8pt font or less (powerpoint slides shouldn't really have fonts less than 24pt anyways, as the slide is built for you to talk to, not for everyone to read from)
I can't believe it costs under 1k, this is a high end projector that balances portability, performance, and features, I would have expected it to be over 1500.

Four stars for quality of image, ease of use, flexibility and portability. I like that it works with hdmi and vga. Easy to set up and helpful menu screen. My one disappointment is with wifi. I had hoped to use it with a tablet or smartphone but the use is too limited. You have to use their app and it will only project a few types of documents. Can't project PowerPoint or Prezi or any presentation software. I wish I'd known.

General:
I knew when reading the reviews for this projector, that it was going to be a strong performer, but until I actually saw it live, I had no idea!
3200 lumens is a real number for this guy, and it is truly the same for color as it is black and white, and can easily be seen in a brightly illuminated room. I highlight this because so many other projectors claim 3200 lumens, but only in "Black and White Mode", and single, saturated colors are nowhere close to the same brightness.
Connectivity:
I am currently using the HDMI interface, as it works well for all modes of display from my source, which is either an iPhone or iPad device. I originally had hoped that the wifi connectivity would work out for me, but as it utilizes a special app from Epson (Epson iProjection) which only works for photo display, not video, presentation, or mirroring modes. It only works using its own web browser, document or photo viewer, downloaded PowerPoint slides (not always shown well, either) or PDF's. This did not meet the needs for me, but it might work for some. I had little confidence in this connection going in as the reviews on the App Store were pretty harsh. Reality matched the reviews. Do not waste your money either on the wireless LAN adapter unless you are using a PC.
I would like to reiterate that using the Apple HDMI to lightning adapter DOES work flawlessly for all modes of viewing, including mirroring, and sound is in perfect sync with your videos. This requires NO app and is completely setup free. Not wireless, but it works solidly.
Other connections are composite video w/audio, XVGA / VGA connection, and LAN. Video looks great on the XVGA / VGA INPUT, and composite looks soft, as you might expect, but faithful to the input signal.
Overall impression:
In the resolution category this is aimed at (WUXGA) this thing is awesome. Quiet, fast response, decent remote, auto keystone adjustments, good zoom range, adequate audio volume for medium sized conference rooms, and really well converged display.
For my money, I don't think you can do better than this!

Its really a great projector. I have tried 5 different projector and finally decided to stick to this one. Things I found compelling is the 3200 color and white lumens and Epson is the worlds leading projector manufacturer. Also its light weight when compared to others and not bulk.Sleek design and ver good color reproduction. I never had any issue with this and I am completely satisfied with the purchase. Only downside I would say is it does not have audio out and the speaker is not good. If you have a receiver to hook up or in my case I have an airport express and Apple TV. So apart from that minor issue its really a great price and worth the money. Fan noise is less when you are using in ECO Mode. Am happy with the purchase and its the ;latest model as well. Definitely a great recommend to all who are looking for a home as well as office projector.

This projector is simply fantastic. Ths projector produces a very sharp detailed image with virtually no chromatic abberations.
I use this projector in a non conventional way- I use it to project images into canvas for painting. I have other projectors but this is the first that produces images that are super clean and surpassed my expectations.
The wifi feature works well and can be used to show images from a phone wirelessly.
I tested full HD content as well as I simply wanted to see what sort of video performance it would produce and again super impressed.
I'm not well versed in the world of projectors but I was impressed by this unit and see myself using it for years to come.

I have been searching high and low for a projector and I think I have landed on a great projector. I purchased this because of outdoor festivities, football games and movie nights for the kids. I have projected on a painters drop cloth 9'x12' and it looked great. I also saved up and bought the Gemmy 14' inflatable from Target for viewing. I really like them both and everyone is now asking me where they can get one and what to do. We set up the projector BEFORE the sun went down and we could watch the game. As the sun set and the sky got darker the better the quality of the picture. The only draw back about this projector, is that there is only the sound from the projector which is minimal. I had to go purchase a sound bar and 3 trips for cables to make it work. If I could remember what my boyfriend did, I'd let you know, but it was something to do with a digital coax cable and RCA. I LOVE the outdoor movie nights and it's definitely a hit with all the friends and family! I would purchase again if something happens to it. I have attached 2 photos of the picture on 2 different screens and BEFORE the sun had set that evening.

I'm impressed with this projector - the other reviews on this product are spot on. It's bright (seems about right for lumens rating), crystal clear and colors pop. Love the 1080P resolution! The size, weight and features make this a great buy.

We have a big empty wall in our room. We have a 42" tv but after we saw a projector on we never use it anymore. We picked this one because of the specs; We didn't know anything about projectors. But a quick google fixed that. So lumens is the brightness. And the aspect ratio is the pixels or how crispy it is. It has an mhl port. Aka my Samsung phone Has movies plus my mhl cable just turned my room into the best movie theater. It gets super hot. So we put it next to or in front of the a/c. It's pretty easy to figure out. But for a whole week we were stumped as to how connect it to a big speaker; Turns out it's a simple aux cable. (We called epson and they told us in 2 minutes.) it's loud enough from just the projector if it's a quiet room. But when the kids movies r on we put the big big irocker speaker. It's awesome but if u have a Netflix then forget it unless it's mhl from a phone ur watching it. Because Netflix knows ur using a projector so it won't play in case ur streaming for money. So on my mac or iPhone I can't watch movies but I can project work or iPhotos w.e. But from the Samsung I can watch anything with my mhl cable. Best 800$ I ever dropped.

The Epson EX9200 Pro is really nice product I have ever seen. First the color is beautiful when you play video or .ppt file of coz your files should have high definition/resolution, especially when you use HDMI cable to connect to the project. I bought this for my church before I read lots of reviews. So far we have used for two times for our parties, the excellent image/color is the best in my opinion. Other features like wireless are not used. Overall this is a very good product.

Arrived at BB promptly, worked first time out of the box with cables provided (used both USB and HDMI). Used for PowerPoint presentations mainly. Outstanding! Sound is decent as well, but I think the amp is only 2 w or so. But attached to sound system, all is great.

This is the wireless projector for any event on your schedule, the best light I have seen on a projector, our (church) old projector was dim with all the lights turned off, but now we do not have to turn them off, just dim them, more bang for the buck with this projector, & works with my cell phone (pictures) or lap top ......................

This is a nice projector with a reasonably high resolution. It is light and can be connected to a computer using VGA, HDMI cable. It can be connected using wireless technology as well bur for that you need to buy an additional module. It was not clear when I first purchased it.
