Overall, my experience with the Epson EcoTank ET-3700 All-in-One printer has been nothing short of outstanding. When the printer arrived on my doorstep, I was eager to get it up and running, and setup was a breeze. After easily filling up the printer with ink (which they give you loads of, by the way), I was ready to pull up my computer and get it set up. The installation process was very quick, and connecting the computer to the printer wirelessly was effortless, thanks to the software's ability to find the printer automatically. After it was all set up, I printed loads of documents, and I was not disappointed. The color on each document is very vivid, and the printer prints relatively quickly, especially for being an inkjet rather than a laser printer. The volume level of the printer wasn't that bad either, but it's definitely noticeable while it's printing. I also love how easy it is to print from mobile devices, such as iPads, Android smartphones, etc. This makes it quick and easy to get stuff printed fast. Overall, I really don't have anything negative to say about this printer. It was easy to set up, easy to use, comes with an unbelievable supply of ink, and prints great. It’s great for almost any task, I wouldn’t rely on it too much for picture but really it’s a great design for the price.

I previously owned a Canon PIXMA MG4220 wireless color photo printer with scanner and copier. It was OK, but as with any ink cartridge printers, we spent a lot of money on ink! So, I was excited to get the Epson Expression ET-3700 EcoTank All-in-One Printer, featuring cartridge-free printing with an estimated 2 year supply of ink in the box! I was pleased to see that the black ink bottle and ink tank were the largest, as the holiday season is upon us and it will be time to print our annual Christmas letters – requiring a significant amount of black ink. Initially, I was concerned about the difficulty (i.e. mess) that filling the ink tanks would cause. My experience proved the opposite. Each ink bottle has self-sealing openings that mitigate dripping (even when turned upside down). When filling the ink tanks, I was pleased to find that the ink bottles stopped dispensing ink when the ink tank was full, and removing the ink bottles from the tank also resulted in no spillage. The only thing that I would have liked to see were more ink colors and tanks, allowing crisper color for photo printing. Setup was relatively easy and intuitive as well, but took longer than I expected to complete. However, it was easy to follow the instructions on the LCD screen for simple setup and ease. It was also easy to initiate and setup our home WiFi, making it easy to print from my laptop, tablet, or phone. Overall, I am very pleased with our Epson Expression ET-3700 EcoTank All-in-One Printer thus far! It appears that we’ll save money by no longer needing to purchase ink cartridges, it has good print quality (at least what we need it for), and its compact size allows it to fit well in our home office. The only opportunities that I have seen to date is: 1) set-up time, and 2) loss of our WiFi connection during printing (this happened once).
