Quality projector at accessible price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have now used the projector for several months. Installation and setup was pretty easy. Image quality is great - used for Netflix, Youtube, HBO through Chromecast and PS3. We are very happy with it! A couple things to consider, though: the noise of the fan can be a bit loud unless you set to 'Eco' mode, which reduces brightness a bit. Also, in our experience, you will need an opaque curtain in the projector room to filter out ambient light, which the projector is not bright enough to make unnecessary.

Fantastic projector for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 75 inch Sony TV And I wanted to go bigger but I was worried about the picture detail on a projector. I was told by the " experts " at different home theater departmens that I would need to spend $4000+ on a projector and another $4000+ on a screen to get similar quality of my Sony 75". I almost quit my quest for a projector. Thank goodness for other reviewers out there. I saw the Epson 2150 go on sale for $699 and figured to give it a try. I absolutely love it. I've got a 150" picture on my bare wall (no screen yet) and it is magnificent. I am so thankful I didn't listen to the "experts"

great contrast and quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only issue is that we bought a tablet to connect the projector with the TV or "prime movies". There are numerous steps needed on the tablet in order to connect. Otherwise, quality and contrast are awesome.

More than I need!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disclaimer: I am no audio/visual buff by any means. I bought this projector because I have always thought it would be cool to have the flexibility to adjust screen size, and I love watching movies with friends. I did a lot of research into projectors prior to settling on this model, and it definitely does not disappoint! I have it projecting on a white, matte wall, so I know I'm not getting the absolute best quality I can out of it, but it is extremely bright, the colors don't seem to be too washed out when compared to my laptop, and I am super happy with the contrast. When I was doing research I read that contrast is one of the most important factors, and I can definitely see a difference in how well I am able to make out dark scenes in movies compared to some other, cheaper projectors I have used. I am also in awe of how quiet it is in the ECO mode, and I'm pretty impressed with how loud the built in speakers can get. I was expecting to use external speakers at all times, but the majority of the time it's just quicker for me to go with the built in speakers, and they works just fine. No complaints, honestly! I don't know how it compares to other models, but I am perfectly happy with it!

Exactly what we were looking for!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We recently decided to switch from TV to projector for our basement, we enjoy having people over so movie nights are now a lot better! The projector is very easy to set up and use so far and is exactly what we wanted. The weight of the projector is light making mounting and moving around an easier process. The image that is projected onto our wall is crystal clear.

Fun Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you do not have your own fancy home theater, this product can still be a very fun item to have. I purchased a roll up projector screen and so I can use this for movie night or gaming but still have my regular TV in place for watching a quick episode of something before bed. The brightness and image quality are very good for the price!

Best Projector under $1000
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This projector is great! It has great brightness and looks amazing in a dark room. During the day with the blinds closed, the picture is still good enough to enjoy, the only time I was bothered was in an excessively bright room. The built in speaker has good volume for what it is. Overall, a great value.

Good picture and easy to set up.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works great... I thought it was pretty easy to install. I didn’t have any issues with the ceiling mounting nor getting the projector squared up. I had to mount slightly off center due to the placement of power and LAN, but the mount and projector tuning was a breeze. The picture looks great too. I would buy it again.

The Perfect Entry Level Projectpr
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The newest entry into the entry level home theater projector. While Epson does have a couple cheaper options, I’d venture to guess most home theater users wouldn’t look too much lower on the price totem pole if they’re being serious about a home theater. Epson’s 2150 is a bit more expensive than some of it’s DLP rivals, but the inherent advantages of their technology along with extremely strong fundamentals of the 2150 make it a must look for any home theater builder on a budget. Before I get into this review - I’m an Epson fan. They make solid projectors for the money and I’ve had great luck with them. I own a 730HD and an 8350 - so I have their low-end and higher end. First of all, what sets the 2150 apart from it’s little brother the 2100? Very little - except Epson is using a better LCD matrix in the 2150 to drive a much higher contrast ratio (60000:1 vs 35000:1). My recommendation is to buy one.....
