The projector runs on a 3LCD display technology that provides a 4K (2160p) resolution that is crisp, detailed and lifelike. It functions with a brightness ceiling of 1000 lumens making videos/media bright and scintillating in a dark environment. However, in bright light, this may not produce the best picture, but still is viewable. The projector offers a light source life of about 20,000 hours making it a very long-lasting device.

Absolutely love this projector. When we got home and set it up, I immediately looked at my husband and said “this is the coolest thing we’ve ever purchased!!”. The feature of it not needing to be directly across for it to be centered is awesome! It auto adjust! We have used it almost every day. 10/10 recommmed. For sure an investment, but totally worth it.

Great projector for massive walls, stunning colors

The Lifestudio Flex Plus is such a fun little projector. I was very curious to see Epson trying out this new form factor in this device. If you’ve owned a long throw projector, you know how annoying getting the feet setup up perfectly can be. With this model it holds its position on a short pedestal and has the perfect amount to tension to easily position it in no time. That paired with the excellent auto shape calibration means you can be ready for movie night anywhere in less than a minute. The Plus version has a nice wood grain top, anodized aluminum stand, and RGB led under glow that brings some magic and fun to movie night. The kids will know exactly what is happening when this device comes out and the lights turn on. There are different colors of subtle glows from warm white, blues/purples, to rainbow and has adjustable brightness. I found that it brightened up the room just enough to see your popcorn and safely move around during your featured film. In terms of inputs, you can power this with the included AC adapter, but all with USB-C making it super versatile. If you have a laptop charger or battery bank, you can easily power this unit and bring it anywhere you want to host! It has HDMI and supports USB A for thumb drives, and also has a headphone port for private listening or you can pair your Bluetooth headphones as well. Speaking of the picture, the 4K image is sharp and has great color and contrast. This projector maxes out at about 1000 lumens, so it’s perfect for movie evenings or nights, but daytime usage in rooms with a lot of sunlight are not going to provide the best experience. The built-in Bose speaker produces great sound for the size with good highs and mids. It's not room filling, but definitely enough as an all-in-one package. If you have a soundbar that supports bluetooth you can easily pair that if you're looking for something more substantial. This projector has all the baked-in apps that you would expect. It runs Google TV and has Netflix, Youtube, Prime Video, and more so you don’t have to tack on an additional stick to get the service that you want. Finally, I tried the Projection Studio app which allows you to pair your phone as a remote and also allows easily sharing photos and video on family night. If you have a bunch of members with phones it’s a really fun interactive way for people to upload content, view it live, and send reactions like comments and emojis. It was definitely a blast when we used it and fun to see all the photos and memories that people had captured!

This is a great projector. Highly recommended for the price.
