The Epson Lifestudio Pop Plus 4K PRO-UHD Portable Lifestyle Smart Projector is nice projector that comes with Sound by Bose Technology, 3LCD, HDR, and Wireless features. The projector comes well packaged with a quick start guide, power cable, remote and batteries for the remote. The projector has support for an HDMI connection, but it does not come with an HDMI cable. After plugging in the projector, the power button is on the rear of the unit on the left side. It took a while before I could use it right away because it required a software update. After the update I used the remote to complete the setup process. I had no luck getting it to connect to my WiFi network. I was trying to connect it to my Eero system but it kept failing. I had to connect it to my Orbi system, then it worked. After I finally got everything setup, I went back into the settings using the remote and tried connecting to my Eero system, and it worked this time around. Unlike most projectors that require you to manually fine tune the clarity of the display, this one does it automatically. It has an Obstacle Avoidance feature, which stops the video display if it detects something in front of the light projection. It comes with Google TV installed, which allowed me to connect many of my streaming services to it. It comes with a Bose sound system inside. The speakers were OK. I was expecting more Bass and a louder sound. They sound decent, but not all that great. The size of the unit is quite portable. It’s about the size of an Apple Mac Mini. The HDMI connection works well. When I connected the HDMI cable to it from my computer, it prompted me to mirror my display or use it as a secondary display. Overall, I’m intrigued as what this unit has to offer.
