I bought this scanner because it had good reviews, and because it has a document feeder. Its easy to use, it scans quickly, and it just works well. After going through several other scanners, I finally found a good one (this one).

Quick scanner when it chooses to connect to your network. I purchased this because the Epson Workforce 7840 all-in-one proved to be very unreliable and extremely hard to use so I still needed a scanner and already had this model in my other office. Scans great IF it connects; so, I got a hardwire cable as well to make sure I can scan regardless of the mood the scanner is in.

Great scanner to digitilize all your documents. It is fast and captures both sides in one pass. Wireless makes it more convenient to scan from anywhere

This scanner works well for my program will I have to scan application with documents daily 20 25 apps a day

My office administrator loves it. It scans faster than our past scanner but it was 12 years old. We like the software which allows us to delete, arrange, and see if the scan came through readable.

This is an excellent addition to any home office. It scans extremely fast. It would be nice if the software was more like neat software. The scans are clean and accurate. If there are bends in the paper; ie folds, it can cause a jam. But that is easily remedied.

Scanner works wonderfully! I like using the stand alone scanner since it handles more pages than most printer scanner combos.

This Epson ES-580W is the fastest solution to my scanning needs. It is easy to use, easy to set up and works fast. This scanner saves me time and is visibly clear copies for my archives. Calling it a workforce is an accurate description of this scanner.

Works like I had hoped. Did have a little trouble getting it to see my laptop. After that works like a charm!

I'm in love with this scanner. It was very, very easy to set up via wi-fi, and start scanning to my computer, email, and external hard drive. It scans quickly and the resolution is excellent. This is a very good investment; Highly recommend!

Bought and just hooked up my Epson ES-580W scanner I got 2 weeks ago and scanned in a newsletter I get in the mail, was 4 pages, 2 sided, color and it took 3 seconds to scan.  Quality was great on Standard Compression and when I saved it as a PDF there's an option to OCR the document so it's 'searchable' in Acrobat Reader. MY GOAL - PAPERLESS OFFICE - My goal in using it is to get as close to a paperless office as I can by scanning in a lot of 'marketing' stuff I've accumulated over the years as well as personal receipts and statements, so I can trash the hard copies. I think we could use this also at my mom's to scan is 'stuff' she's accumulated and we could get for her if needed but could do without the paper / hard copy.  Software is very flexible, lots of options, installed quickly on my 8.1 Windows PC. Would buy again!

I have used a lot of scanners and this was 1) easy to set up 2) easy to use 3) scans large documents fast 4) produces excellent text and photo quality. I bought this because I needed a wireless scanner and this fit the bill.

Easy setup. Very fast. Scans one or both sides. Just need to remember which way to put the document in.

It did exactly what its features said it would do. Adequate with photos, even though it isn't a photo scanner.

Excellent scanner, easy to use. Detects when back page is blank and will not scan it.

Love this scanner!!! It’s amazing and such a lifesaver. Takes up very little space, the quality is fantastic, price was great & you can’t beat the app/wireless capability that it is. You won’t be disappointed!

I totally love this scanner. Pricey but you get what you pay for. It is super fast. wifi works perfect. I highly recommend. You can scan to file, right to email.

This is perfect, does the job I need it to, and does not require a port on my laptop to be taken up by a scanner! Love it, good quality and easy setup!
