I've had several home office printers and this one has been one of the best. It was well priced and I don't find myself constantly off to the store for more printer cartridges. That saves on cost greatly! The printer quality is excellent and ease of use is a plus.

The Epson WorkForce Pro printer setup was extremely simple, the network wireless connection was easy, printing is super quick and the quality being printed is on par with more expensive printers on the market. What’s also impressive it has a friendly easy to use touch screen interface. If you need a reliable printer for your home or office the WorkForce Pro is worth the price.

Our family in the past only used Canon but we have converted to Epson and so happy we did. Our Canon was not old, just shy of year and a half when it decided to die. We were at the point do I repair a fairly inexpensive machine or do we put our money into a newer machine. I researched many reviews and used Consumer Reports when I came across this one (Epson WF-4630). The reviews were outstanding. I have to agree with all of the positive reviews. Reasons we liked this particular machine were the cartridges last longer and are individual, wireless feature for all our devices, large paper tray, all in one machine for home office use, and super easy set up. The print quality is superb. This printer uses a little more room than my previous printer but does not get in the way on a small desk. Our family has enjoyed this printer for the past few months, we are looking forward for future print jobs and projects we will be able to complete. I would recommend this printer.

So easy to use and prints on both sides like magic. I LOVE THIS ALL IN ONE DO IT ALL MACHINE. Not loud either
A bit on the bulky side but for what it does I'm okay with it.

I have had it about two months. It is easy to setup. It has a wide variety of functions to play with. It is pretty decent in terms of speed. It is fairly quiet as well. The touch screen display is nice. It has a program that allows you to use your printer from a remote location - that is probably my favorite feature.

Nice Printer Choice

I really like this printer. I needed something to print postcards in duplex mode with a rear tray and this does it. It says it can handle up to 80 pages (probably 20lb) in the rear tray and its pretty close to that. I use 65lb post card stock and it will hold about 30 of those, which is great. Duplex mode is awesome and I haven’t had any issues with smearing as a few comments have stated and I found that paper type is the main cause of that. You can also set the dry time per side in the menu section of the printer which will delay side 2 printing and let the ink dry longer. I haven’t had to change the default setting on that though.
Color print is nice with no lines. Black print is excellent, also with no lines. What I found with old inkjet is that the black print was inferior with Laser, obviously the new technology has changed that. Black print is much better than my laser and I seem to use that only for printing large docs now. This is a 30000 print machine per month and I don’t recommend this machine if you don’t print more than once or twice a week. Office machines are built for use to keep them clean.
Scanning is good but I love the fact I can scan Wireless to my PC. What a pain the old cables were to have to do that. On the MACBook, I use Image Capture because it seems, at the moment, the epson software isn’t really compatible. I don’t mind because Image Capture is awesome and easy to use. The printer will also scan to the cloud but I don’t use that at the moment and it will print to a Memory Stick with the USB in the front of the machine. Copying is also great and easy with single or multi sheet feed.
For the price, this printer really cannot be beat. I haven’t seen what I would get out of a full cartridge yet but In a month I’ll come back. You can always find Epson Ink on sale at BB or other office supply stores that will significantly lower the price per page on this even lower. I just ordered two black cartridges 786xl’s for less than $27 a piece on sale. If I can get 1000 prints out of them, I’m already at 2.7 cents per page. Even lower as I go up from there.
Only issue I have is the menu is a little bit disorganized, but not bad, and in the Mac, print settings seem to hold less features than printing from a Windows PC. I have noticed the same with my HP printer as well so I’m not sure why that is the case.
Setup is cake and as I said, I use Macbook laptop and a few other Windows based PCs to print to it with no issues. My laser HP disconnects from the router every once in a while and I’ll have to reset it but I have not had that issue with this yet.
If you have a small office, print more than the normal home owner, this is the machine to get. If you want to send postcards, you can’t beat the rear tray feature which is rated for 68lb stock and envelopes as well. For $200, today this printer with rear tray has no match in this price range

Best MP Printer I've ever used

I've owned a number of MP printer/scanner combos, but they never seemed to work all the time when I and needed them to. Most recently, I had an HP Photosmart Premium that, on paper (specifications), was supposed to be faster than this and have better quality. After a few years of the scanner never working, the muiltifeeder being worthless, the network scanning taking too long, the ink dying out EVERY time I wanted to use the printer, I decided enough was enough and replaced it with this Epson. I chose the Epson because many years ago I had used one of their first photo printers and never had a moment's problem with the thing...
...and that's what I LOVE about the WF-4630. I've had it for a few months now and the ink level is still close to the same as when I bought it (I print no more than 20 pages per month at home). It can go a month before I print something and the printer doesn't take forever to warm up, calibrate, clean printheads, complain about ink levels, etc., etc., it just works; which is all I want my home MP printer to do.
The scanner is absolutely awesome and works exactly the way it's supposed to. It was very easy to setup, and I can take a stack of papers, tell the printer to scan to my email address or even upload it into my google drive, and it works quickly and flawlessly.
In summation, if you want a great all purpose photo printer that is also one of the best home scanners on the market, and you just want it to WORK, than this is the one to get. Bye bye HP-- you lost another customer.

The Wireless feature is good. We have it setup up in a different room and it picks up the print request with no problem and prints fast.
However the size is rather bulky.

Small Business - Great Production Low Cost Printer

I have a small business with a medium demand on printing. We produce our own flyers, brochures, tracking sheets, and Enrollment forms, etc., The rear tray allows for card stock to be feed easily which we use to produce appointment cards and envelopes quite nicely. The printer holds a lot of paper and sits side by side with a 4 year old HP Color Laser. The laser is now barely ever used, and everyone is sending their print jobs to the Epson. Great Production. We have only scanned a few things with It and it seems slow to scan, but everything else we get almost as quickly as the laser. It's VERY Important if you're a business to buy the XL ink cartridges for maximum cost savings. The toner in the HP is almost 90 dollars per cartridge, and it needs 4 cartridges, this machine I bought the 4 pack of ink for just under 90.00 on sale at an office supply store. I have the 4530 for the home office, and found that I get just as many sheets out of the laser as I do my Epson, which means I'm paying a lot less for toner. My staff uses tablets to enter appointments, and to print e-mails, and they do it wirelessly, and the printer handles all of it easily.

this printer has worked beyond expectations. It has a great price and prints like a much more expensive printer would. The ink cartridges are decently priced as well and deliver tons of ink. I'm still using the trial ones the printer came with and everyone knows those barely have anything in them.
It prints fast and the duplex capability is simply awesome. The feeder works greats and the scan quality is ok.
The only two things I would like improved is the scan quality and the install process. While neither aren't enough of a problem to give it a 4 star review they can use a little tweaking to improve.
Great printer. Wireless works flawlessly. Printing is quick and accurate. Can't ask for much more than that.

I have always had HP printers. I started to have problems with my HP printer, so I started researching new printers and came across this one (Epson WF-4630). The reviews were outstanding. I have to agree with all of the positive reviews. I was nervous about switching from HP, but I have had my Epson for over a month now and I love it! My HP ink cartridges never lasted long. My Epson starter cartridges have already lasted longer than my HP cartridges. The print quality is superb. I love the wireless features. Everyone in my household can print to this printer. You can even send print jobs from anywhere to the printer's email address and they will print.

Powerful Printer, Loaded with Features

Needed a top grade All-In-One printer that was (1) highly rated but easy on the printer ink consumption and (2) was a network ready wireless machine. The Epson - WorkForce Pro WF-4630 met all these requirements. It prints on both sides of the paper, has a huge paper capacity, and probably some other features I really haven't tried yet during my first 2 months of use. I know this printer is probably more than I needed for a home office but I would buy it again without hesitation. Checkout the great ratings on this powerful printer - they are accurate.

I bought this to replace my HP all in one. It stopped printing after 3 years. So far I notice this printer scans and prints faster than the HP did, especially double sided. It has a lot of features for the money. The ink is supposed to last a lot longer, although the printing is lighter. If you don't like it the settings can be changed to darken it up. It was easy to setup. So far, so good.

It takes us a lot of space, but it suppose to be better than all the rest for saving ink, especially on Maintenance, which used a lot of ink in my old Artesian 810, but it had built in connection of USB, Small and Large Memory cards, which this one only has 1 USB connection. I like the prints and speed. Color is Very Good. Easy to use.

My first Epson Workforce printer lasted well over 4 years. It was used every day - very hard! It never quit working until one of the ink-jets finally started leaking. SO - I replaced it with 2 Workforce Printers. One in my studio and one in my home office. They are extremely durable, easy to set up and easy to use. In fact, they are so easy to use that I helped my father pick one out to replace his crummy HP which needed ink every 5 minutes, then claimed the brand new ink we put in was expired. $60 of new ink cartridges down the drain only to figure out that the HP had died. I will never own anything but Epson printers again. Great product and I highly recommend them to everyone. (I have even talked a few customers in stores into Epson and away from HP)

I have had a canon mp830, for many years now. And when it finally went out I decided to go with a Epson. And am glade I did it works great with all my device I can even email myself what ever I want to print without being home. Only draw back is ink as with all printers but beside that I have had no issue. Prints fast, a little loud but besides that very easy to use.

This printer is a real workhorse. It does everything I need for my small home office including printing, copying, faxing, file storage and much more. The print quality is outstanding. It's a good looking unit and the footprint is relatively small. Setup was easy. I am delighted I bought this model.
