Good at color printing, acceptable price, solid build, easy to operate

This printer is rated very good for graphics, moderately good for photos...this met my need for printing normally on paper and doing rear-fed fabric panels using pigment based inks. The Wi-Fi setup was a little convoluted, and I was befuddled by the issue of losing connection, sporadically it seemed - until a web search revealed info that "local" connectivity would be lost during any (external) VPN connection...ie: whenever I VPN into my workplace network. But I've found that as soon as I close my VPN session & shutdown my local system the printer spits out my pending print jobs. Personally I'm thrilled with the auto-duplex printing (saves paper), and that density is easily modified. I also like that the control panel is level with the scanner bed...makes it easier to scan bullky objects like open cookbooks. I expect to be happy with this printer for years to come.

I was looking for an alternative to my HP laser printer and found it in this fantastic Epson printer. Quality prints, fast! Scanning was very easy. Wireless set up was effortless. I highly recommend this printer to anyone looking for an alternative to laser. Note, I do not print photos and cannot comment on the quality of those.

This is the best printer/all in one I've ever owned. It is so easy to set up - really, it's idiot proof! It prints great quality and does it quickly. I purchased this for occasional at home use. It might have been a little much for as little as we need it, but I wanted something reliable and nice. Highly recommend this product.

I had thought that a color laser printer was the way to go, but after researching the associated costs for toner cartridges, drums, etc... I figured that an inkjet printer was the way to go. I've had good luck with Epson in the past and after reading other reviews decided the WF-4630 would be the way to go. I'm very happy with it and my wife is too! After dealing with an HP All-in-one and the noise and annoying menu and functional quirks for several years, we are both extremely satisfied with this printer. Have not had to replace cartridges yet, but plan to use the XL cartridges to avoid any issues with running out. The default cartridges seem to be holding out so far. Tax time puts a demand on B/W not color.... You can get cartridges for a 15% discount from both Best Buy and Epson if you're a rewards club member and you register your printer.

I'm editing my first book. Write, rewrite, fix story line, etc. etc. This printer is fantastic. It prints double side pages faster than any other printer I've owned. It allows me to choose black ink only and save the color cartridges. When I get low on black ink it prompts me before using the color cartridges and allows me to print in black until the black ink cartridge is empty. The ink cartridges are huge and if you've ever danced with the HP printers you know what I'm talking about. I would recommend this printer to family....

This printer has all the functions I need, which are fairly easy to use. I do have problems with AirPrint/AirDrop occasionally, but it appears to be caused by my printer not automatically resetting the IP address for the wireless network if their is a disruption in my wireless connection/router. It's typically resolved by powering down and restarting my printer. I was very disappointed (ie almost returned the printer) with how poor the quality of the starter ink was with this printer. The starter ink does not print anywhere near the quality that the company claims in their product overview. Replacement cartridges are better, but not equal to, or better than laser as stated in their product summary. Bummed about that.

This printer is a solid value and delivers commendable performance at this price point. It starts up and prints fairly quickly, and despite the height, doesn't have that large of a footprint on a desk. Probably more suited to office duty than home. Wish I could scan directly from the unit rather than opening a desktop application to initiate the process.

This printer is excellent. I have only used AirPrint to print things and the Epson printer app to scan things. The app works very nice you scan the item and it'll send the scan to whatever device your using the app on. I have had no problems and would definitely buy again.

This replaced a HP that was 4 years old, hope to get at least 4 years out of this machine, its fast and quiet, and I like the big ink cartridges too, also holds alot of paper in tray, which the hp didnt

I've been very pleased with this printer in the 2 months or so I've had it. I don't do a ton of printing, but when I do print, I don't want issues and I've had none. It's very fast. We print via AirPrint usually from a different floor, and it's ready by the time we get upstairs. I love being able to scan from the document feed right to DropBox or Google Cloud. Very handy for gathering info for our taxes. I haven't had the need to fax yet, so I can't speak to that. I did have just a tiny issue with drivers....might have been my fault (wasn't sure if I should use the install CD, or just try using what the Mac already had). In the end, I had to do a number of software updates and run a Canon program that I downloaded to enable Bonjour printing (which allows AirPrint). I won't take a star off, because maybe I shouldn't have even run the CD. But once it was running, it's been perfect.

Wireless works great once setup. Took a little more effort then it should to get it going. Downloading drivers and software . Prints fast. Nice and clear. Would purchase again.

Great product! Easy to follow instructions for setting up everything. I especially like the extra large black ink port.

Really happy with my new Epson WF-4630 printer. Good print quality and very fast. Scanning also works well. My only complaint so far is not being able to find the 786 XL ink cartridges on the Best Buy website, I don't need them yet but will soon.

The printer was easy to sync with my wireless devices, both Apple and PC. Impressive print quality and it prints fairly fast for an ink jet. Very user friendly.

This replaced a HP we had. It is quieter and more stable. The speed of printing is also better than the HP. Great buy for a small /home business

Printer is reliable and plenty fast for home use. Set up is easy. Usage of ink and cost of ink is about average with other printers in its price range.

I purchased this printer earlier this month on sale and I'm very happy with the purchase. The printer is fast, quiet and the print quality is great. I have also used the photo copier and I get the same great results. The only reason for the 4 stars is because I haven't had a chance to test the other features, such as WiFi and picture prints; however, I did not buy the printer for these features (although they are nice extras). Nonetheless, I am 100% satisfied with the main features I was concerned about as mentioned in the title of this review.

I seem to go through a new printer every two or three years for my small business. I have given up on Brother and HP has been good, but not great. I decided to try this Epson. After three weeks I am happy with the print quality and speed. It is a little less user friendly than my HP was but once you learn it, it's OK. I like a few of the features. It automatically turns itself off after a given number of hours. The controls are easy to read and the WIFI was easy to set up. I never got the HP WIFI on line and had to use a cable.

This printer was purchased because I had used up three other printer from other manufacturers. The write ups made me realize this was the printer that would be able to stand up to my printer needs. It was easy to set up and get going. I really like that the cartridges are large separate colors, easy to access and change when needed. I am very pleased with this printer and recommend it to anyone that prints allot. The quality of the print is excellent, even pictures are clear and professional.
