After a first few uses, we really like this upgrade over an older Epson EcoTank printer. It’s not terribly quiet when it starts a print job, but so far the actual printing is quiet, fast, and high quality. The black ink cartridge is already showing about 10% down after printing only 25 or so pages which makes me a tad nervous, but we will have to see how it holds over time. Our usage is a small home office, and we might print 100 pages a month. I’m hoping the ink doesn’t dry out and clog like our previous ET printer! Minus one star for: worry about the black cartridge capacity, a LOT of thin plastic which might easily break, and slightly loud when starting a print job. Don’t let the lack of a 5-star review dissuade you from making this purchase, however!

This was a gift for my brother who works remotely. Functional printer and scanner. Looks good in a small home office space.

Switched printers from HP 283fdw Color Laserjet to this Epson and everyone in the office loves it. And it is 200 dollars cheaper.
