I threw away inkjet technology years ago for the crisp, clear and reliable laser printers. The toner costs of the laser have climbed to stellar prices and the quality hasn't improved. I still prefer the quiet, solid laser engine but price for performance, clarity and color pallet favor the Epson inkjet. This tech has advanced and the precision and clarity with the huge range of colors has improved on the affordability and value for this type of printer. The setup of the scanning feature took some fiddling but it worked flawlessly for direct double-sided to double-sided and for direct double sided to scan on the computer. Throughput is good as is cost of ownership. I liked the look of the tank inkjets but the cost performance of this beat out the others. It's easy to own, easy to use and interfaced well with Mac, PC and network printing. We'll see about affordability over time.

Great printer that does almost everything. Prints up to 11”x17” pages, scan, print, fax, copy. Wireless, easy setup, quick printing output, easy access to scan unit, and easy to maintain/change ink & paper.

Best INKJET printer i have ever owned. love the paper size choices, wireless capabilities, sheet feed and scanner. Very Affordable also got it on a trade in sale. Only 1 con it is bulky but I have the room for it.

Bought this printer after much research. Our current printer stored working wirelessly. I'm not much into figuring out how to fix. Couldn't find CD that cane with it. Sup works but I needed 4 things. Color, wireless, ink that won't break the bank, and a document feeder that could scan multiple pages. This printer fits all those needs. So far everything is super easy. There is way more it can do but haven't tried all this. It is found exactly what I wanted. Ink prices are fair. It does say no 3rd party ink and I haven't attempted so don't know about that. Great printer. Though bigger at home than it looked in the store.

Ive been tearing my hair out trying to get work done from home. As an attorney, I frequently need to print to legal size paper as well as 11 x 17 sheets for real property surveys. This printer can handle it all. Additionally, it has a built in fax and document scanner that can quickly create PDF's for me to e mail to clients and/or counsel. Print quality is more than good enough for my professional needs (ie, I havent tried using it to print photos other than discovery exhibit photos). The initial setup to my wifi router for wireless scanning and printing was tricky at first, the printer didnt seem to want to find my network, but I easily got it to link using the WPS secure link setup button, and Ive had no problems since. The epson software works great with both my windows office tower, as well as my macbook pro (though you need to download the mac version from their website). Its very intuitive to use, and I appreciate having 2 paper trays (one for letter size, one for legal size). Printing speed is plenty fast. I picked this up on sale for $179.00 as opposed to the $300 normal MSRP. At that price, its well worth it. This is keeping me in business during the the quarantine. Very pleased with the product.

Worked great when new. Excellent paper size and feed options. After 2 years, started breaking down and print quality significantly diminished (even with branded ink). The paper feed path is prone to jamming. Printer is about 3 years old (the first died and I replaced it under warranty). About 2 years ago, it started having paper issues (so I purchased slightly heaver weight specialty ink-jet paper). About 1 year ago, it jammed and spit out several guide spring/gears (see picture). Today, it jammed and spit out another guide spring from the back feed area. Also, it constantly complains about "non-Epson brand" ink (void warranty). Further, it will randomly disable ink cartridges that are non-epson brand (you need to then reload and "accept" that you are not using genuine ink. Recently, the scanner feed has started to pull in multiple sheets and/or jam as well. The printer is used frequently but not heavily and for the price, 3 years is not acceptable. I would steer clear of this thing. The only good thing it has is the wide format double sided scanner (which was the only reason I purchased this particular model). Also the branded ink is exceptionally expensive. The only thing this has going for it is the double sided wide format scanner.

I bought this for my home office. Setup was simple about 30 minutes. It prints quickly and clean copies. I’ve not used the scanner yet, I’m sure that’s a fine feature. It does still have fax functionality which I’ll probably never have to use, but it’s there if you need it! All in all I’m very happy with my purchase. And I bought it on promotion so saved $120.!

I’ve been quite impressed by this printer so far. I own an old all in one laser printer with similar functionality but it’s only a black and white printer. So far this Epson Workforce printer has proven to be more capable and able to handle all of my business needs. Let’s start with my first impression. If you’ve never owned a “full” size home office/business printer, be ready for it. It is a large printer, albeit not quite as large as a floor standing print shot printer but very comparable in capabilities. In its box it’s a sizeable printer, I had helped unboxing the printer and although it’s not too heavy it’s somewhat not evenly weighted so be sure to have a grip on all four sides when you take it out of the box the first time. Setting it up is quite a breeze, overall with installing the software, charging the ink, etc I’d say it took about 10+ mins. This was made possible, even with connecting to my wifi, by the large touch screen. I think this is one of the main functionality that I like the most. I’ve owned other printers as well with a touch screen but to interact with it, you’d have to use a bunch of dedicated buttons (arrows, OK, cancel). Having a very responsive touch screen is a welcomed feature. Some other features that I really like about this printer is the double paper load tray, definitely nice to be able to load up for all my printing needs. The auto feeder tray on the top is also great when I’m faxing and scanning multiple documents at once. I’ve had to fax over a signed document once and believe me without the auto paper load tray on the top, it could be a pain. Another nice feature that really differentiates this printer is the larger scan glass that is capable of handling an A3+ size. My other laser all in one cannot do this and it’s a nice touch and there were many instances where I’d have to go to a pro print shop to do this simple task of scanning an A3 size document. All in all this is a very capable printer, perfect for my home office it has a few functionality which I haven’t tried yet but will try in the coming weeks, such as being able to print remotely to the printer via email. Not sure when I’d need to do that but I suppose it’s a nice feature to have. If I can pick one item that I’m concerned about this printer that would be the ink refills of course. It looks like it comes with the initial ink cartridges which typically doesn’t last that long. Researching online, it seems like they have bundles that you can get, so that will help and they have an XL black ink that is not too horribly price. I guess I’ll have to see how often I’d need to refill the ink with this printer. What would be ideal is if EPSON can produce an all in one workforce printer that’s combined with their new ink cartridges that could last 2+ years. That would be the ultimate printer I’d like to own. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7720 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

The printer worked great up until 2 nights ago. I have wasted so much of paper and ink trying to print on transfer (iron on) paper. It's bleeding a bit too much to the point its all over the place. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong or what can be done?

After Geek Squad installed & settings, I've been using this printer for about a over 1 month now and so far I have no issues or problems with it. It prints very crisp and the pictures that I have printed turn out very nice. We haven't used every feature this printer has to offer yet, but if the others features work as well as what we have experienced so far I would say this is a great printer for our purposes. My last two or three printers have been Epson's and we like them so that is why we stuck with what we know. If any opinion changes in the future I will update our review. It was very easy to set up and the only thing it seems to do occasionally is to pull 2 papers at the same time, no big deal thought I would probably mention. It is a pretty good sized printer, so if you are considering it make sure you have a space large enough to put in on or in.

Works far better than my 8 year old printer no longer supported. The ability to scan/print 2 sides is great as is the more economical ink. Set up was surprisingly easy with a Mac. No issues. Quality of print and color is excellent. Only downside is it is a little loud --my opinion only and certainly not a dealbreaker. Would buy again.

We wanted a large format printer that could print up to 13 x 19 size. This will scan up to 11 x 17, has two paper trays so we use one for standard size paper and one for larger size. It is wireless also. Has all the bells and whistles.

I purchased this printer to print large (11x17) format paper. It works very well, and is much faster (particularly when duplexing) than the HP Photosmart that I used to use (but which did not print 11x17 paper). Lots of plusses: two paper trays make life easier, plus a special sheet feed on the back. It scans reasonably well, especially for a device that is not a dedicated scanner. About the only thing about this printer that is not ideal is printing photos, which came out a little dull on glossy photo stock (great if you want matte photos) - though I have not tried a variety of paper to see if that would make any difference.

Printer was in great condition. Easy to set up and haven't had issues with it. It is heavy and pretty big finding an area for it was the only hard part for me. The extra tray for paper is a life saver! Overall I'm Enjoying the printer.

Have only been using this for a couple of months but very pleased so far. Is relatively large so will need an area in the office other then the desktop. Easy setup. Competitively priced

I bought this to replace an HP I had just bought 8 months ago. The HP ink is more expensive and did not seem to go long. This Epson has the ability to insert one sheet of paper or an envelope if you want to do something other than the paper tray paper. The HP did not. I thought the last Epson I had printed better photos than the HP but into the first replacement ink cartridges the printer head was acting up. They warrantied it for me but just out of warranty it did it again and that was why I went HP. I bought the 2 year warranty at Best Buy with this one. It only gets 4 stars as I have only a short use with it. It was easy to set up.

My first WF7720 came DOA. I unpacked it and got it ready to run by installing the ink cartridges, but it kept throwing an error code. I had to call Epson tech support and they just told me to take it back to the store I purchased it from...the problem is it weighs like 50 pounds and comes in a huge box! Best Buy had to order another for me from their own website since they didn’t have one in any store nearby. The next one came in and works great right out of the box. Pretty easy to setup and connect to my wireless network. I can now print from any device in my office or even through the web. I would definitely recommend this printer.

I am a long time fan of Epson printers for home use. Have never used one in an office setting. All Epson products I've ever used have never had any issues with hardware or software. This one is no different...so far. I have a friend over for the holidays (in IT) and even he was impressed with this printer. The speed of printing was noticeably fast. I had a few troubles with the drivers included with the printer but no issues downloading the drivers online. I printed some test pages of unicorns and gave them to the kids. They loved them, and the picture came out really nice. Before I had the drivers installed, I had a tough time figuring out how to use the wide formatting. The printer was functioning good enough simply by connecting it to Wi-Fi and discovering it on my computer but some features were missing without the updated drivers. The attached photos are errors received from the included drivers disk. There were absolutely no issues using the drivers I downloaded online. I recommend this printer for home or office use, though it may be a bit pricey if you intend to just use it for personal printing. This printer was much larger in person! Defiantly heavy and needs a sturdy table to print. Ink cartridges are easy to remove and install - quality looks great thus far. Prints large quantities fast

Overall it is a great quality printer, easy to use want you get up to speed on the Info panel. Wish is was bigger so I don’t have to use my glass to see the font.
