Fantastic show---can see why it won so many awards! Wish the features had some more depth to it though---seems to be only random episode commentary. Would have loved to have seen more behind-the-scenes info, actor bios, gag reels, etc. that other DVDs always include.

Glad I spent the money on ER. It was much more thought put into the show than I originally anticipated. The show draws you in and gives you the everyday scenarios of what working in a hospital can be like and how stressful their jobs can be.

Good price and quick delivery, but the plastic case for the 7 DVD had been totally crushed. The other items in the package were not damaged, so this seems to have been damaged prior to shipping, and should have been caught before it shipped.

The beginning of the 90's best television show

Michael Crichton's vision for a fast-paced, raw and intellectual emergency room drama is brought to vibrant life in season one of this award winning show. The egotistical Dr.Benton, the scorned and troubled Dr. Greene, and the (seemingly) naive and inexperienced Carter get their introductions in season one, and the acting throughout the program is superb. The show not only spans the seemingly endless spectrum of emergency situations that would come through the door of a poorly funded Chicago hospital, but also gives us a glimpse into the personal lives of the characters we are exposed to. E.R. strikes a delicate and fascinating balance between not only the situations that occur within the walls of the hospital, but also the ripple effects those situations have on the characters we become so attached to. Finally, it is a testament to the excellent acting and production of this program that a show a decade and a half old feels remarkably fresh and poignant, and could have easily been released only a few years ago. A superb program that has clearly earned its reputation as one of the best on television.

This is the season that started it all. All your original favorites are in this season including Eriq Lasalle, Sherry Stringfield, Anthony Edwards, Julianna Marguilles, and George Clooney. What a great season with plenty of storylines to keep you interested.
