This movies is good for the time it was released, not very true to the novel, however still entertaining. I would say the quality of the picture is not as upscale as I would have hoped, however it still looks better than the DVD version.

This was a fun movie, but you did have to look over the fact it appears to be made for a younger audience. That's probably why it didn't have the following to make a couple of more films to go along with the rest of the books.

I love this movie! I bought it for $5 bluray edition from bestbuy. Picture quality is quite good. Definitely an upgrade from DVD version. If you like this movie and do not own the bluray version, BUY IT!!!

Good movie to watch on a cold night with your family. Brings all excitement and adventure to mind especially if you're a child or teen. Helps you to remember those days long past of "pretend"...

If you were a fan of the books, then don't watch it, all you'll do is pick it apart. It is a good movie, but its failure was in how far from the book they went.

MOVIE HAS GOOD SPECIAL EFFECTS, BUT ARE LIMITED FOR THE LENGTH OF THE MOVIE.

Story, plot, special effects, all there. It does a good job, although, like always, the book was better. Was left ready for the next chapter, but wasn't ever made. Still, stands alone fine

I'm a fan of movies with dragons. Dragons are cool. Not as good as Dragonheart or Reign of Fire, but still good. Picked it up on sale for $7.99 and it came with $8.00 in Movie cash to see Maze Runner: Scorch Trials. Can't beat that deal.
