Not 4k but far better picture than the dvd version

Full disclosure: I have never been a big Julia Roberts fan. I think she's a decent actress, but she's really more of a "movie star" than an actress. She's pretty much the same in every film. When she tries to get out of her comfort zone (see "Mary Reilly") it's a complete disaster. Having said all that, Roberts is very good in this Steven Soderbergh film. She uses her best assets (in every sense of that word) in a performance that earned her an Oscar. However, did she deserve it? Also nominated that year was Ellen Burstyn for "Requiem for a Dream." We could argue whether she should have been in the Supporting Actress category instead of Lead, but she was spectacular and there's just no contest. Just my opinion, of course. "Erin Brockovich" is a good film and I recommend it. I just wonder what it could have been with another more skilled actress.

Really good movie based on true events! Excellent performance by Julia Roberts who is a single mother with no knowledge about law and ends up taking on a big company. Very enjoyable movie.

This movie, which is based on true life events concerning the lawsuit between PG & E and small town in California, is hard to find. I tried looking on eBay & Amazon but the only copies I found there were either too expensive or in a different language. I bought this to add to my blu-ray collection

Of corse this is based off of a true story of a huge case between PG&E and a small California town. It's an oldie but a goodie. Bought it from bestbuy for the digital copy only. You may say "why not just buy it from iTunes?" Well iTunes was 15.00 BB was 8.00

I have been a fan of Julia Roberts acting and I thought she did a excellent job in this movie. I like movies based on true stories or events so when you buy this movie you will not be disappointed.

Who doesnt wanna see julia roberts in tight sexy clothes showing off that bod taking on the state of california in a litigation case? Oh yea this is based on a true story/events.

This is based on a true story and Julia Roberts and Albert Finney are really great in this movie. They really showed how they cared about the people affected by this.

I bought this movie after seeing a commercial with Erin Brockobich. I had heard of the movie before and was curious about it. After watching it, I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you like strong female leads. Great feminist film.

This is probably one of Julia Roberts's best performances of her career. And this is definitely a must-have bluray to collect.
