Best old school action movie updated to 4K Collection.

A classic movie that involves the 90s action feelings

Repeating sequel, different location, upgraded tech. Love the ending. Snake wins...

This movie would be great, but there was an issue with the sound which required a disc replacement from the company. I’m hoping that these issues are corrected in order for fans of this film to finally see Snake surf in 4K. Side note if your UPC is yellow than you have a corrected copy. If it is white then you need to reach out for a disc replacement.

Was buying Escape from NY. Both were on sale so I picked em both up.

Kurt Russell is the man! Love the 4k transfer of this classic

Good plot and lots of action. Overall a good movie.

A fun movie which isn’t even close to being as good as the original but worn a watch. Only buy if there is a yellow upc. Original release had audio issues and paramount will send a replacement disc which I actually just received. Took them 3 months to get back to me but when they did, the disc arrived in less then a week.

Good compliment to Escape from New York. Kurt Russel is Snake. Good fun.

The first film is one of John Carpenter's best. Kurt Russel is perfect as Snake Plisskin. A lot of fun genre cameos can't make up for the been there done that feeling. The CGI leaves a lot to be desired. Great seeing the character back in action but a disappointment. Sorry John. Love ya

This film really benefitted from the 4K remaster , the effects look better now darkened and not overly bright that made them look terrible . No where clos as Escape From New York but it is fun seeing Snake back for one more time .

This UHD features a nice picture upgrade, but the audio on the 1st pressing was incorrect (dialogues was spread across all the channels). Not a big deal if you have a simple audio setup, but if you have a surround setup, look for the corrected discs with a yellow barcode. Otherwise a good UHD release of one of Carpenter’s snarkier—if not best—films. I’m still waiting for Paramount to send a replacement disc, hopefully it happens sometime before California breaks off into the Pacific.

Snake Plissken returns once again after being hired by the United States government to recover a doomsday device on the island of Los Angeles which is now a penal colony of felons. Good film and audio.

Love this movie, the 4k transfer is great since I went from only owning the dvd version of this movie to 4K UHD. This should have been released in the Steelbook form, maybe in the future they will. Great buy for the price, pick it up if you're a fan of this movie.

Great PQ, initial release had audio issues that still need correcting from Paramount.

I feel like this is a must-own bad movie. The disappointing element is that it comes with no special features, so I would say if that is something important to you, you’re better off picking up the 2-disc Shout Factory release, but that one doesn’t come on 4K, so that is where this version is superior.

Straight up cheese but, a fun ride with a good cast. Transfer and audio is excellent in 4K. Hopefully this means we're going to be getting New York in 4K.
