the drug cartel kingpin about finding out things you should not

This thriller is a clever blend of a real person Escobar the drug lord and a dramatized semi fictional romance between a naïve Canadian who falls in love with the drug lord's niece in Colombia. You feel you are watching a true story because of the real drug lord. The action is terrifying and builds up realistically to a climax that has Breaking Bad intensity. Benicio is totally convincing in this role that is perfect for him. He doesn't over do it which is more effective. Josh Hutcherson is actually very good. It's nice to see him away from Hunger Games as a fresh faced innocent. A powerful yet believable fable

Young surfer Nick (Josh Hutcherson) thinks all his dreams have come true when he goes to visit his brother in Columbia. Against an idyllic backdrop of blue lagoons and white beaches, he falls madly in love with Maria (Claudia Trasiac). It seems perfect until he meets her uncle, the famous drug kingpin Pablo Escobar (Benicio Del Toro). Nick finds his life on the line when he's pulled into the dangerous world of the family business.

you don't see a lot of drug dealer movies that are as good as the epic scarface but this actor seems to be the new go-to-guy. holds your interest but still not quite as cool as the legendary tony montana

I always buy my favorite movies at best buy. The best deals in town on new and old movies. I defenetly recomend BEST BUY and this movie to all action movie lovers

Watched it twice a very well written movie a different look at Escobar's relationship with other family members. Was a nail bitter.

Pretty good movie on Pablo Escobars life and people involved in it..

The movie depicts the fictionalized relationship between Pablo and his niece's husband, a young Canadian who was accepted into the family as a man Pablo could trust. The trust fades as Pablo realizes the young man will never feel comfortable with the violence such a world entails.

Good movie benecio deltorro does another good job.

I bought this movie for a friend as a gift. Although I have not seen it yet, he's raving about how good it is. its worth a watch.
