    Good at First

At first I thought these sounded great, but over time I noticed that some low / mid noises were not being produced or heard. I REALLY noticed it while playing Call of Duty Black Ops 2. Explosions were muffled sounding and footsteps were not as noticeable over gunfire / announcer. This is compared to CHEAP Sony Earbuds. My 3rd Gen iPod Touch needs to be put on Treble Boost or Vocal Boost to sound right. My preferred Jazz setting on my iPod was fine with my cheap Sony earbuds, but not with these. It's not that the bass is too punchy like Beats, but it's almost like the bass hangs for a long time causing some other mid range sounds and highs to drown out. Overall Sound: 8 / 10 Bass: 9 / 10 Mid: 8 / 10 High: 7.5 / 10 Noise Reduction: 7.5 / 10 Comfort: 9 / 10 Price: 11 / 10 - Well worth it! Summary: Great for people looking for inexpensive sound. Not for an audiophile, studio, or gamer, but good nonetheless. I think I should have had listened more carefully when buying these though. Plus when I twist the end inside my iPod it activates the volume controls and will make my volume jump everywhere. I listen to all kinds of music including Rock, Electronic, Classical, Jazz, Hip Hop, to Alternative.

I'm into everything Retro. I bought these for my 3 yr old child because I want him to experience quality sound and also hope that he follows my footsteps in the journey of yesteryear. Not only do these headphones fit my adult head but they adjust to his very nicely. I hope my investment will last for years to come.

Hurts my ears after prolonged use

Just a fair warning that these headphones are great, but my experience is that they will cause your ears (outside of the ears) to ache from prolonged wear. I use it for gaming and listening to music. It feels initially comfortable and mic function works well. I am 6', 185 lbs with average(?) sized ears for a man I guess. Fair warning.. try it on before you buy!

Great, until they no longer work

I bought these in April 2014. The audio worked great and you could hear everything clearly. However, after 4-5 months of regular use the audio started droning out. It may be an issue with the plug...I have to twist it around the iPhone's input to get any clear sound to come through. I hope that the manufacturer's warranty will provide a replacement.

Nothing but bass, can hardly make out voices

Just purchased these tonight (03/29/2014). I loaded up Spotify and went through numerous genres of music. I heard that these sound better after breaking them in by a couple of hours of playing them. So I did. I played some Skrillex, Metallica, Lamb of God, Avicii,Blake Shelton, Home Free, and more. On Skrillex I was like, "Oh wow, I can feel the sides of my head rumble, cool!". On everything else I was like, "Oh wow, all I hear is mud, and I can feel the sides of my head rumble, not cool!". I cranked the bass all the way down and the treble & mids all the way up on the EQ and it was still awful.

I purchased these headphones in February and the sound was great with quality bass. Then a week ago the right ear went out. I did some research and found out this happens often. SAVE YOUR MONEY!
