I didn't pay that much attention to the description but this scale keeps track of weight plus other vital info like BMI, and it's rechargeable so there are no batteries to buy. Great deal for the price.

I have been tracking all the various areas that the scale tracks and it helps to be able to see the progress in various areas, even if the scale numbers aren't changing.

I especially like having multiple profiles and that the scale stores all the weigh ins until you connect it with the app so you can weigh anytime and still have it recorded. Can’t beat the price either
