The app for looking at the cameras is easy to use, and setup is pretty straightforward, although soon after first setting up the camera it will probably need a firmware update, which seems to take a while and is not reported well in the app. Once it's going though it's easy to use. The app allows two-way audio, which is nice. No issues with distance either from the base to the cameras at a normal house with normal yard. One other hint - it needs wired connectivity to your router. It comes with a cable but you need a port open for it.

I preordered this system and have had it for a couple months now. The setup was very easy and in my case, the range from the basestation to individual cameras is good. I just made sure to put the basestation as centrally located as possible and all my cameras are connected with a good signal. After 2 months of use all of my cameras are still 90% or more for battery levels. And I set these up right as the coldest months were setting in. So I'm impressed with the battery usage so far. This system has very minimal false alarms. I think I've only had it trigger the recording twice because of a cat and once because of a heavy blizzard. Otherwise there are no false alarms in the past two months! I find that there is plenty of flexibility in the settings and it's easy to use. One of the main selling points for me was there is no subscription required and the videos are store at the basestation. I also wanted a system compatible with Apple Homekit. With the most recent app update, I see they have finally released Apple Homekit support. It was also easy to setup and is working. Currently it just shows a live feed in Apple Home. But I'm sure they'll add more functionality in future. I haven't yet used the new geofencing feature but I'm sure I will in future as it seems useful. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and have no reservations about recommending it.

We've had this Eufy camera now for about a month and we love it so far. The camera quality is crisp and we like the notifications we get when someone is within its field of view. We feel much safer with these cameras installed and feel like it was worth the purchase. We haver had to charge the battery yet either which is supposed to be good for a year. Installation was easy too, just mount it like you would anything else. Overall, good purchase!

After searching for a camera system for months I decided to go with the Eufy system when I caught the sale/promotion including the base w/2 eufyCam 2 indoor/outdoor camera plus an add on eufyCam 2 indoor/outdoor camera. The picture quality is good. After several weeks the camera began to record with the white balance being off which is visible in the recordings but corrects itself in about a second. Also noticed was horizontal lines through the video when seen at night with both the night vision or auxiliary lighting. To me both these problems are annoyances and not deal breakers. And both these issues may be a result of the mounted location in direct sunlight which I was unable to avoid. I wish the actions zones could be rotated clockwise/counter clockwise to be more customizable to a specfic enviroment/landscape. The main reasons I choose the Eufy system is that Eufy is put out buy AnkerDirect which I own several products. Second is the ability to store recorded video on my personal WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra NAS device. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase.

The image is nice and it was easy to install. I like the fact that I don’t have to pay for a subscription and the cameras only need to be charged about once a year. Because they are convenient, easy to charge and install, as well as provide a great image, I have recommended them to family.

I've had it for almost a month, I do like the clarity of the videos and it was very easy to setup. The only thing I dislike about it is the night-time alerts. It gives me a lot of false alerts when I established zones for it not to.

I recently purchased and installed several security camera devices made by EUFY and they're GREAT! 1) they cost less than one other well known popular similar series of video doorbells and security systems. 2) there is a zero cost after... no need for a subscription with Eufy as you control your videos and can download and save those you need to, and delete most that happen daily when there are no incidents. Among my collection of these security devices, I have the wired doorbell at the front door, the battery doorbell at the back door - both 2K video quality for them. I *STRONGLY* recommend you have a professional electrician install wired devices. I live in an older house and the transformer from my previous doorbell needed to be upgraded, plus there were issues with old wiring and my electrician was able to drag new wiring through the walls from the basement to the front door to replace old wiring. If this issue isn't done correctly it could start a fire, so doing it right is essential. I also purchased a Eufy floodlight camera which was also hardwired by my electrician. It replaced a motion detector light that was in that spot before, but now I get alerts, can see who is in the driveway by the garage, and can have a two way conversation with anyone in my driveway. It also has a high decibel alarm. Regarding this camera - the Eufy Cam2, I have two installed already, and with the holiday sales, I exchanged this set of 2 more + the homebase for a pair of Eufy Cam2 Pro's (only) because I already have two homebase units - don't need a third one, and with the sale I exchanged this set for the set of two higher quality (going from 1080P resolution to 2K resolution cameras) since the sale made them the same price temporarily as the higher quality camera. With that now I will have two cameras of each The Eufy Cam2 The Eufy Cam2 Pro. Both are really great. I have an old hardwired system - a Night Owl system that came with a DVR that records 24/7 to a device I have connected to one TV in the house. I'm not removing those cameras and just will turn them out to the street for recording cars going by. I will only need to check the old system in the event of an incident or auto crash. The Eufy system focuses on motion detection and does not record unless people walk into the range of the camera. I instantly can see any Eufy recordings on all devices I have installed on my cell phone. I added several Amazon Echo Show devices to everyone's bedroom, the kitchen and 2nd floor family room so we can monitor and answer the doorbell from any location in the house with Eufy. I'm not certain which other in home systems can help you monitor these cameras but I'm sure others probably will connect for you. It saves us from having to run to the door to answer unwanted visitors and we can see the arrival of any deliveries and welcome the few friends or family members that stop by. Of course during the pandemic, we don't accept indoor visitors but anticipate a return to normal eventually. I highly recommend this series of security cams. The Eufy Cam2 and the Eufy Cam2 Pro all are battery operated with a need to recharge approximately every 365 days. I can be at home or out and can see what is happening at my house on my cell phone. Alerts let you know when people come to your door. And the plus is that there is NO SUBSCRIPTION COST involved in reviewing your recordings, plus this system costs less to begin with than others (won't mention names but if you've looked into it you know) that have continuous ways of extracting more money from you. Also if you're on Facebook there's a Eufy group of owners who share tips and tricks on how to utilize the system of cameras.

I can't believe how good these camera work. I had been using converted iPhones with a security app and they gave us all kinds of wrong warnings, so I searched until I found these. With the Eufy 2's, I have only had one error in a heavy snow storm when the snow was hitting the sensor. Image quality is outstanding. These are also extremely versatile. They have a easy to use app and/or you can use Apple Home Kit. You can also use another app to view live footage on your Apple TV. They are so easy to use and you don't have to worry about hidden fees or a cloud account getting hacked. We are ordering another set to put at my parents house. They are well worth the price!!!! I would highly recommend them!!!!

We've been using these for a while now, and I can honestly say they've outperformed my expectations. The battery life is very good all things considered. And the image quality is great. I really don't have any complaints specific to this unit. One thing I would note (and this is really for any battery powered camera set up, not just this one). If you need a system that's always on and recording, battery powered is not for you. You'll want to have externally powered cameras feeding a DVR, which is a whole different type of setup. But if you just want motion detection recording, this is perfect and requires no wiring.

I will preface this by saying that I've only had this camera for one day, but it will be going back. I had purchased the eufy doorbell and was pleased with the function. It has a direct line of site to the router (more on that later). The packaging has a clean layout and everything is readily identifiable. While the written instructions are rather general, the phone app walks you through everything very well. After installing the base station, it immediately updated the software before continuing. Now it asks you to sync the cameras (within 1 meter of the base station) and recommends you charge the cameras. Both my cameras already showed a full charge. It next moves you to finding a mounting location by carrying the camera and phone with the app open and displaying your connection strength. The problem began here. The cameras connect to the home base (not to your WiFi) and it has a severely limited range. While the description talks about the home base being a WiFi 'extender', that simply means that you can move the base from being hard wired and directly next to your router. In my case, the intent was to mount the cameras on the front and rear exterior of the home. I could find no placement for the base that gave me a good signal to both cameras unless they where at the front of foyer and out the the rear living room window. That configuration gave direct line of sight to both cameras on the exterior of the home, but also placed the front camera directly over the doorbell and becomes redundant. Any other placement at all on the exterior and one of the cameras gets a poor or no connection. Placing them in different rooms (if the same floor) and they were able to both connect. I assume this is a hardware limitation and can't be changed with a firmware update for signal strength. Your ability to sync may be better depending on the layout of your home and your desired location. If you aren't planning to install both outdoors, you may very well be able to place these. The quality of the image was very good when connected. I placed them in two rooms for a few hours and moved normally through the house. They did a good job of detecting the movement of people and only sent an alert for pets once. I also took it into a room with blackout curtains. The IR sensor is good at shorter distances and provides a clear image. I'm not sure how they would be from, say, one end of the house to the other outside or down a long hallway as the image gets soft. The app itself I find simple to navigate and quick to respond on both the phone and the doorbell. Notifications are almost instant. Again, the app walks you through adding devices and the written instructions and illustrations are clear and understandable. In order to 'share' devices, the other user must first create their own account and then you share to their account from within your app. They receive the invitation and accept the device. If you log into a second device with the same account, it will disconnect the other device. Hopefully they can adjust this in the future. This is a nice system with no monthly fees if you can find camera placements that make connection. That placement is highly restrictive by the number of walls between your base station and the cameras. For that reason, assuming your home layout and intended locations work, this is a solid choice and I will give it three stars. This may not work for a lot of people, to include me, and that makes me hesitant to recommend it in general.

This is my first ever security system so take with a grain of salt that I don’t know much about these things. So far very easy to use for beginners. Connection is great, I do suggest having good wifi. Detects just about everything so far. Quality, color, sound, all is great so far. My kids get a kick out of talking through the speaker. I bought this because of it being completely wireless and the app not having monthly fees. It says if someone try’s to take down the speaker it will automatically “scream” I have yet to try this yet but I like that feature

Cameras are okay ,Weakness are, loss of motion range in color night mode with auto nighttime off , live mode has its ups and downs on connecting live, the app needs to be able to live view all cameras at once instead of viewing one at a time, more versatility on camera mounts angling, rain in night vision setting washes lenses. Strengths are long battery life, large choices on choosing your favorite settings, clear picture on clear day, camera tampering alarm , loud speaker so people can hear you and app being no monthly subscription.

I like the cameras overall, but they missed some motion events detecting my car coming into my house. I couldn't believe it because a car is a gigantic item and it didn't detect it this afternoon. However, I like these cameras and the batteries are outstanding. I have had them for a month and my battery is only been used 4% even though I have played with them a lot. I love the fact that one can setup the alarm to sound if wanted, this way the intruder will know that it is being recorded.

Easy to install since the cameras are wireless. Good app and lots of settings for the cameras to personalize them. Recorded video quality is generally good, but the bit rate for them is a bit low so when zooming in, details are lost (I wish there was a setting to record at a higher bit rate). Currently no way to expand storage as there's no memory card slot and USB port doesn't currently support storage expansion (no idea what the USB port is for).

I'm pleasantly surprised how well they work. Did some research on Anker prior to purchase. Easy to set-up. Decent coverage. Phone App settings is easy to use and adjust. Sometimes, I've had to turn- camera off and on if the motion sensor is not working. Video footage stays on home base not on some server. No monthly fee like other manufacturers may charge to store video. Overall I'm happy.

I use these cameras for a week and these are my first comments. The good thing is that cameras are wireless.Easy to install but can not be install too high (over 10 ft) because the motion detector sensor will not be activated. Also, which is very important, you can not install this cameras a 90 degree angle. Terrible night vision. Eufy Security app is very good.

I used this for the backyard, inside the house and front door. The picture came out very clearly even at night without lights on. I had these cameras about a month ago and the battery seems to last a long times. Battery is pretty much full still unlike the others I have to charge every other days such a headache and I’m thinking if a trip to my family for 3 days, this I can always monitor my home without worries the battery will died on me. Love this Eufy cam, glad they made it like that.

This is a great solution if you're trying to install cameras where power is not available. Very easy to install. Grab some vinyl siding hooks if installing them on vinyl siding. It works great. At some point I plan to add a third camera. Just realize that because this is wireless, it's not recording 24/7. The cameras are triggered by motion and record for a time set within the app. The app is easy to use and sharing access with other users is quite easy.

So far, I really like this camera system. I was not interested in a monthly cloud storage fee, which pushed me to Eufy. Also, the eufyCam2 is rated for up to a year on a single charge. Time will tell how long it goes, but I did not want to be recharging or changing batteries frequently. The cameras offer a very wide viewing angle so it's easier to catch activity. Set-up was quick and painless. I don't have any complaints to speak of at this point.
