Customers commend the eufyCam 2 for its excellent camera quality, long battery life, and ease of setup. Positive feedback also highlights the system's effective night vision and convenient local storage option, eliminating the need for cloud subscriptions. However, some users reported inconsistencies with the motion detection feature, suggesting areas for potential improvement. The system's motion detection sometimes fails to capture events or experiences delays in recording.

I looked around for replacements for my old Logitech camera system. Everything these days requires a cell phone. Then I discovered that you can run these from an Android Tablet. They are easy to connect and setup. Just download the app and follow the directions. The work well. Don't rely on "Face Recognition" outdoors it is only effective at short range, set it for "Motion" and set sensitivity on high.

Firstly, this product is easy to install straight out the box. Besides charging the battery, which takes hours, you can have this system up and running in less than an hour. Great pic and ease of use
Secondly, I just wish it had more options for security settings. It has enough but I want more customization.
Would recommend this product which I have been doing.

This was very easy to set up and configure. The base unit should be near your router for a wired connection, which should be secure. We have been using it for a month and it does a good job distinguishing people pets. Different settings for a system response to motion, such as push notifications, alarms, or no response us useful.

Great home security camera. Camera picture during the day and night. Given the 2K version is out now will get those instead but back then this was the best by Eufy/Anker... And allows local storage without requiring monthly subscriptions.
-1 star for lack of storage expansion though (just the build in) at this time.

Overall ok. Motion detection needs work and only thing stopping me from giving this 5 stars. Video quality good and all other functionality exactly what I expect/want. If you have true concerns about security then I would not recommend this product.

I have these at the front door and sliding deck door and they work perfect. No connection issues like the Blink camera's I had before. Easily pick up movement and mounting and set up was a breeze. I will be adding more camera's in the future.

Easy to install and to use. Great customer support. The picture is somewhat spotty, hard to recognize faces and figures at night, had to replace it with 2k pro.
Study camera, can store up to 1200 video clips for free.
Recommend only if it is on sale.

I haven't worried about security at my condo... until somebody jumped my neighbor's fence (they were home with the lights on, kids playing & curtains open)! So I decided to invest in a security camera since my fence is next to the parking area (easy access). I am 80, so my qualifications were: minimal technical ability and easy to install, no wiring needed and not connected to the internet for storage. Lots of technical reviews out there, so mine will be short and about ease of use. I read the instructions for installing home base and camera app for your phone and accomplished that in around 15 minutes. Next a friend helped me install one in the side yard and one facing the front door. When an intruder (me, forgot to turn the camera off!) comes in range the alarm sounds on the camera and on the home base and I get an alert on my iPhone. Can't miss that someone is there! My phone screen is small so I also bought a Kindle Fire for $49 and installed eufy app on that so I have a larger picture at nite. That was a little more technical since I had to install Google Play Store to get the app (YouTube has videos on how to do it). The cameras are well made and were worth the money.

Never heard of Eufy but through review comparisons and support fir Apple home we made the decision. Glad we did. Quality was obvious from the first sight and very much like an Apple experience. They are easy to set up and use. Love the quality video and extensive custom settings. Easy peasy.

HomeKit supports turned out to be a joke

So if you all have bought his awesome product thinking that one day HomeKit secure video support will launch for this, you’ll be much dissapointed. I just upgraded my system and the HomeKit support is a joke.
1. Only 4 cameras are supported despite Apple promising 5.
2. You’ll only get live feed from cameras, no iCloud storage as the cams will become HomeKit compatible but not HomeKit Secure Video.
3. Motion detectors won’t work with HomeKit.
In short you’ll just have a homebridge giving you a live feed that’s pretty much it.

I have the two outdoor, one indoor and the doorbell camera and they all work great. Great clarity and pretty good response. It allows you to make adjustments on the app so you can change the distance, the range of motion, and the sensitivity. This far outweighed Ring. It also will connect to Alexa if you want.

Setup was effortless, super easy. I like that everything is stored on the local card, nothing goes online in some hackable cloud.
Ive had it for over a month and it works great, the sensitivity is just good, not missing anyone walking in my driveway.
I also like you can setup the detection window in the app, very nice.

I’ve had security cameras installed for several years now but the constant battery charging was a pain. The eufy am batteries have a one year charge life. While I’ve not had them that long yet, the initial charge is still full and I suspect they’ll last much longer than my previous cameras.

picture and sound quality so much better than my Arlo Pro. Loads quickly compared to Arlo Pro. I can have pretty much a real time conversation when using 2 way audio. One minus is wish batteries replaceable but with 3 yr battery life something new and better will come out.

I did some reviews before I purchased this camera. It was this vs the ring. Hands down, you get a clearly picture and clearer sound. I can make out what’s across the street too. The software stores video and when it detects someone’s face or someone walking nearby. Makes me feel safe.

I really like this camera for the ability to save recorded video without having a paid subscription. However, I wish that I could continuously record video once a constant power source has been connected. Otherwise. They work great.

A good, well performing home security system. Easy install, good app functionality, easy add ons, good picture clairty and system stability.
Take some time to plan camera locations for maximum results.
Really pleased with my puchase.
