I’ve had the Eufy S340 Outdoor Solar Powered 3K PTZ Security Camera with Dual Lens for about a month now, and it’s honestly one of the best security upgrades I’ve made for my home. This camera hits that sweet spot where ease of use, performance, and smart features all come together. From the solar charging to the 360° coverage and sharp video quality, everything just works—and works well. First off, setup was quick and painless. The Eufy app guided me step-by-step, and I had the camera connected to Wi-Fi and mounted within 20 minutes. I didn’t need to mess with wires or external power thanks to the built-in solar panel, which has kept the battery charged without any issues, even with cloudy weather. I haven’t had to plug it in once. The image quality is excellent. The main 3K camera produces crisp, clear footage with great detail both during the day and at night. The color night vision is a nice touch—objects and faces are easy to identify even in low light. The dual lens setup is smart. One lens gives you a wide-angle view for general monitoring, and the other zooms in to track motion with detail. The PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) feature is smooth and responsive. You can manually control the camera angle in the app or let it auto-track motion, which it does surprisingly well. What really impressed me is how proactive and intelligent the motion detection is. It uses AI to distinguish between people, vehicles, and animals, so I’m not bombarded with alerts every time a squirrel runs through the yard. When it does detect something important, I get an instant push notification and can view the live feed or a recorded clip right away. You can even set activity zones if you only want the camera to monitor specific areas. The audio quality is solid too. There’s two-way talk built in, which lets me speak to delivery drivers or anyone near the front of the house. The speaker is loud enough to get someone’s attention, and the microphone picks up voices clearly. I’ve used it a few times already and it’s worked without a hitch. One of the biggest reasons I chose this camera was because of the local storage. I don’t want to pay a monthly fee for cloud storage, and with Eufy, I don’t have to. Everything gets saved to the onboard storage, and it’s encrypted, so I feel good about the privacy aspect. That’s something other brands should take note of. So far, the camera has held up well to the weather too. We’ve had a mix of rain, wind, and colder nights, and it’s been completely reliable. The build feels solid and durable, like it’s meant to last. I’ve checked the app during bad weather and the video never cuts out or lags. I purchased the eufy S340 to replace my Ring Spotlight Cam Pro when I switched from Ring to eufy. The S340 has everything I was looking for, solar powered, great motion detection, and high resolution cameras. It also has great night vision with color or black and white. The dual camera system works great at covering my backyard and driveway and I can zoom in with clear detail at about 30-40’ easily. I wish it had a little bit wider horizontal field of view, but that’s a minor complaint. I have the S340 paired with a HomeBase 3 and together it’s a great combination. I get extra motion detection features and lots of video storage space. The solar panel works incredibly well at keeping the battery charged. Overall I’m really happy with the S340, it does everything I need it to do.

It was super easy to install, it does not come with a corner mount if you want to put it on the corner of the house. But it does come with a mount. The brightness of the lights is so so, the camera quality is great. I didn’t have to sign up for anything just downloaded the app and works great, no ads I only say that because I read a review that stated you get ads on the app but you don’t, don’t have to pay for storage space. Just need internet access. Overall good product.

To me, this is a very nice security camera. I've bought four of them now, two for me and two for my dad, and they have all worked perfectly. The solar power and panel is perfectly matched with the battery and camera so that I've never had to recharge them. You obviously have to mount them well considering the sun, but I've never dipped below 90% in the winter or cloudy weather. The quality is great with the live feed and playback. Pairing it with the Home Base isn't necessary but it does add more storage options and AI learning, which to be is just a gimmick at this time. My cameras are connected to the Home base and seem to function at the same level as my dad's cameras which have no Base. The pivoting head is great but has very little movement upward, so you either need to mount it really high up or mount it at an angle because it can pivot down just fine. If you need a truly plug and play, wireless security camera and have a decent WiFi connection you cannot go wrong with these cameras. I'm uploading some screenshots so you can see for yourself how long one of my cameras has been in use and that it's never had to be charged.

I love my PTZ security cameras by Eufy. I have tried many exterior cameras over the years, and this is the best one. I love that the lens moves with the person's motion and follows them. It gives me a wide range of motion.

I bought this to replace my older security camera that is just not performing like it used to. One of the reasons for buying this was that it is wireless and the follow feature. It was easy to install, and the solar panel does keep it fully charged. I connected it to my WiFi with ease and setup was not too difficult. The picture quality is great, the follow feature is absolutely terrific and the scheduling is just what I needed. It records directly to the internal memory which allows my to use this without expensive subscriptions to an online cloud service. EUFY does offer one though if you want it. The App is easy to use, however could be designed better. Some features and settings are illogically placed. It performs well except for one BIG problem. Read on. The activity zone setting is terrible. I set an activity zone for an area I want monitored, and yet it records every movement any way. Even if it is outside the marked activity zone. Every morning, I have to erase dozens of unwanted recorded activity that it simply should not record. If the "Activity Zone" setting worked right, the camera would be terrific. But it doesn't. So 3 stars from me.

Definitely the best camera we have had! There is a lot of coverage and has a clear image compared to others. I absolutely love that it moves along with the vehicle or person that is being recorded. The biggest plus… We charged it ONE time and the solar panel charger has done the rest.. We have not charged it since January!! So glad we found this one and will continue to tell everyone to buy!

I switched from Ring to Eufy and i cannot be more happier. The solar panel does a great job of keeping it charged and even with two cloudy days, the battery had enough charge to keep going. The picture is phenomenal also. I hoght recommend these cameras.

Great, great product! Worth investing. It covers my entire front yard when placed at the center. It detects at a great distance, it charges well and it uses AI.

Overall I'm very satisfied with the camera. There are a number of features that make it one of the best on the market. I like the solar power (no need for a battery), the local chip, (no monthly fees for monitoring), AI, (to follow the action), the ability to set up schedules for different times of the day, and setting up different activity zones for two different areas. The app is well designed and very user friendly. It recognizes the difference between humans and vehicles very well, something that Arlo didn't do. Arlo was a total disaster. Dozens of hours trying to get to work as advertised, and many calls to their support. There was a minor issue with the scheduling initially. Email support said I had to do it manually on a daily basis. When I contacted support through the app, they gave me four items to check. I had already done all of them, but surprisingly, it started working the next day. Since it hadn't worked for two weeks prior, I suspect there was behind the scenes tweaking. I wanted to monitor my driveway and my sidewalk to the front door with the AI. Unfortunately the camera's rotation didn't permit that. Support advised that there was a mount available on Amazon that provided a different position. Relocating the camera enabled it to rotate in the proper direction to follow any activity. One small problem, when the person is walking fast up the driveway, the AI doesn't catch it soon enough and doesn't follow the action to the front door. It records only a second or two, and doesn't move. That's probably due to the a minimum of time required to analyze the activity before the recording acting as desired.

So far so good. Great video quality, easy to setup and install. The solar panel is a great feature, keeps the camera charged at all times.

I really like the great quality video when the camera is rolling. The solar power is such an asset and easily keeps the camera powered up. I am still having issues with trying to set up the cameras routines and uses. While it’s not totally user friendly, it is an awesome security camera!!

Excellent product, excedeed my expectations, the solar panel works great and keeps the camera running 24/7, as for the video quality also great, detects movement right away. Nice piece of equipement, im going to buy 2 more.

I purchased this camera about 3 months ago. and I love this camera. it's so much better than ring and you don't have a yearly fee. I'm getting rid of all my ring cameras. and buying Eufy brand of Lights. the other two I'm buying are going to be hard wire. but the solar panel one is my first purchase and I love it that's what made me switch. and Video quality is so much better Then rings.

These cameras are great! Crystal clear, eat to set up and not having to charge them is wonderful. The app is good and the way the cameras track movements is amazing.

This camera is quite easy to install. It works great on my ground level patio mounted underneath the deck. The small solar panel can be mounted on top of the camera or separately using the included additional wire extension. Now, I have a 360-degree view of the patio door and the entire backyard in all directions. This is the best Eufy camera so far.

Excellent camera easy to operate and set up. I wish I would have found this one before I purchased any of my ring cameras.
