We love our camera. Solar option was the only option for us because we don’t have an electrical line anywhere near our entrance and rechargeable battery isn’t practical for us. The video quality is great and motion detection is fast. We plan to get another one to spy on our dogs in the back yard, if it goes on sale.

It seems to work well. I have several other Eufy cameras that all work great. I like the fact that it can move, which in theory, should serve the purpose of possibly two or three cameras. I thought that it would periodically scan the range of the viewing area that I set up, but I'm not quite sure that is how it actually works and does require much more set up than the other cameras do. But with that said, I do like the image quality and solar panel does seems to keep it charged up very well on one of them. I need to move the other I had set up to an areas that received more sunlight to fully charge. Overall, a good buy especially if you can get it for the $139 currently advertised.

The Eufy S340 is a standalone camera that connects wirelessly to our home network through the Eufy App. It is extremely easy to setup, install and use. The night vision is not very bright so that limits its effectiveness for distance. That said, it does work and the solar charging is tracked in the app so the battery lasts all night without issue. Ours faces South, so recharging is not an issue. This may be the only downside for other users. Finding a good sunny location for the solar panel is paramount (it has an extended cord if it needs to be relocated away from the camera). Overall, it is a great camera and seems well built.

Very simple to install. Solar panels keep camera at 100 percent battery even on cloudy days. Video quality is 3k which makes the picture super crisp. Love how it follows people throughout the property if they enter is actively area.

Excellent picture quality, great performance, easy installation

Easy installation and all hardware is included to make installation quick and easy! Nice quality camera and much better AI still capture images than previous Eufy cameras. I’m pleased with this new purchase, however, I wish Eufy would’ve made this camera less easy for someone to detach and take in the event of theft. I felt more secure with the last 2 camera installations than this solocam s340 installation. With just a squeeze, this camera can be taken from the mount and if you do not have the home base(isn’t required for this camera), which has an anti-theft alarm for camera, you won’t know if someone unmounts it and takes it. But, I would recommend if you aren’t looking for a wired or more permanent security device.

Have other eufy solar cameras and this one is next level. Dual lens and tracking works very well. Will be interested to see how the motion tracking holds up in winter.

After being in the Military my sense of security is number one! These cameras are great they follow the object when it picks up sends me a message and can review. The quality is great. Even got my mother in law some for Christmas!

Very easy to set up, and the solar panel is quite effective, even with just a few hours of sun in the middle of winter. I’m in North Jersey, and I highly recommend it

Love it. Rotating the camera is a little wonky and delayed. I love there are bot subscriptions. The solar power avoids running wires and power supply. Picture quality is great

Great video and great at night one thing it does not do it does not track animals just people and vehicles

Easy to install and hook into wifi system, much better video quality than the Google cameras I had and the zoom is nice. Also like that it follows the subject. Only had about 3 months but will likely get more of these.

This camera is great. With its solar panel I don’t have to charge it. The resolution is clear and with its ai it identifies people and ask if I know them to save to the database. If it goes on sale, I’m tempted to buy another one.

Absolutely love my camera’s. Only issue is my solar panels are not getting sunlight and that is an error on the person that installed them! I have to take down to charge until I am able to get the solar panels in the correct area where they receive sunlight. But video and storage are amazing.

I researched for an outdoor security camera which did not require a monthly fee and did not require ladders to change/charge batteries. The solar panel does the charging of the battery. The camera has color or black/white night vision. It records and notifies me on my iPhone when someone is seen with the free eufy app I downloaded. You have settings to fit your needs. Awesome product!!!

I have been using this brand's devices for two years and I am delighted. They are easy to install, you don't have to worry about a charging source because they are solar, they are durable and efficient. Based on my experience, I recommend it. I feel safe when I am not at home. The surveillance system it provides is good.
