Easy to setup and exactly as advertised. Just wished they would pair with Google home better. I get notifications on the app of movement but would love to be able to hear a chime or activate something through the Google home app. Otherwise they're great. Night vision is really good and the motion sensing is accurate

I have been an Anker fan since they started because of their quality products and Eufy, which is part of Anker Innovations, carries that quality with their products. I now have 4 security cameras from Eufy. The eufyCam 2C records and live stream in full HD 1080P with military grade encryption for safe guarding your privacy. Picture is a bit too sharp for me though where edges are jagged. It has a wide angle lens, 135 degrees. It has a spotlight which turns on when motion is detected or when you’re viewing the live stream at night. You can set this feature with the app. You can also turn the spotlight on or off manually and set the brightness through the app. The spotlight gives you a colored image at night instead of the black & white with just the infrared night vision. Supports Apple’s HomeKit Secure Video which lets you record clips to a supported iCloud storage account (200GB or 2TB). It will keep recordings (rolling recordings) on the Home app for up to 10 days. It also has a built-in 16GB storage in the base station. You don’t need to pay for subscription based storage which was one of my main reason why I chose Eufy. Note that if you do choose to use HomeKit there are limitations where some features will not work or supported like, logo and timestamp. It does not record continuously. It only records clips when motion is detected, triggered event. Talking is a one way transmission, like a walkie-talkie, where if you’re talking through the camera, you can’t hear sounds from the other end of the camera. I found that there is a delay, 1-2 seconds, after you let go of the talk button until you can hear sound from the other end. You can turn the mic off and you can turn off audio recording when clips are recorded. The mic is pretty good at picking up sound. It will pick up voices from 15 feet away pretty clearly. There are three settings for the speaker, low, medium and high. The speaker sounds tinny, high pitched but can be heard clearly from far away. Motion detection was too sensitive by default where it was detecting flies and dust particles that came across the camera. I decreased the sensitivity and eventually turning on the feature to detect human only on one of my cameras. You can also set up to three 4-point activity zones to minimize false alerts. For those times that you need to temporarily disable the alerts, there is a timed snooze feature for that. Eufy says that you can get 180-day battery life from just one charge. The battery life probably depends on how busy the area where the camera is. Charge it fully before installing it. The way HomeKit uses the camera the battery will drain faster. It has an IP67 weatherproof rating so you can mount anywhere. It comes with mounts for each camera. If you plan on mounting it on the eave of your house or ceiling, you need a different mount. You can’t get a 90 degree angle from the provided mount. You can get the Wasserstein mount for Arlo cams and it will work. This EufyCam 2C works for me. I save money on subscription fees. It works with my ever growing HomeKit and Google smart home setup. It was so easy to setup and wire-free (except for the homebase).

I’ve been nothing but happy with the performance on this camera system. It picks up well, and the battery life is really good even with me cranking up the sensitivity. It’s really easy to setup and use on my phone as well.

Very easy to setup and install. It's nice not needing to run wires for power but you will need to remove them to charge which is easy to do or buy the solar panel. I did purchase the solar panel for the one camera that will get the most traffic, so I shouldn't need to remove it.

This Eufy camera's greatness comes in a comparison to one of its competitors. The Eufy comes with a battery that lasts about 6 months on average. That is excellent. The cameras are sleek they come in a 2 pack with a base station and camera mounts. The cameras have a spotlight feature that is better than their competition. The night vision by way of the spotlight let's you truly see what the camera is seeing at night. This was not always the case with these home security cameras. Eufy has done it right. Yes, I do wish it was a little brighter, but truth be told it is brighter than the other guys. The base station is small and not overbearing on a shelf. The setup took me less than a half hour. It was easily done with the app , base station, and camera. All the wiring for ethernet and charging are included in the package. Once up and running the camera picture quality is very good. Images are in vivid HD and the range of vision of the camera is very good. Sometimes with these security cameras it is only when something is on you is it visible. That is not the case with Eufy. Very happy with picture quality. You will have to tweak settings to get the recording images you want. I made a few tweaks and the camera now doesn't record everything that moves. What I like is that you can make several different adjustments. There are adjustments so that you can set it to only go on when it seems a human. They call it human detection setting. It seems to work very well. The cameras can be charged through the base station by usb connection. The cameras can update firmware on their own through the base station. There is 16gb of storage which is not a ton, but is still very good. The cameras have two way talk which also is very good. The clarity was surprisingly good. Many features including the ability to use it with my Amazon Echo, a quality set of cameras and NO SUBSCRIPTION required makes these cameras a 5 star recommendation. Very happy indeed.

Wonderful system that’s easy to setup and expandable. I purchase this as a gift for a senior citizen whose door bell stopped working. The only issue was her internet had difficulty connecting due to distance and concrete/brick walls. I found that with a WiFi-mesh, she was able to have better connections for her Eufy and throughout her home. The best part is there is no monthly fee, since she’s on a fixed income; I didn’t want to add more bills. I gave it four stars because the recording time limits, otherwise, it’s great value.

This is a great set! We were looking for a wireless, rechargeable battery set and came across this Eufy system. We've also looked into the 2C Pro and found no evidence that justfied the extra $100. The setup was a breeze. The local storage is a big plus and the images are great, I can't believe this is just HD. Motions are very responsive and alerts are faster than uour Ring doorbell. Overall, very happy with this purchase.
