After a couple of weeks of use, both my cameras show full battery life. The quality of video is fine, although the audio, particularly the microphone on the camera itself, leaves a bit to be desired. There is a slight delay between camera and what you see in the app live, but it is within reasonable expectations and cannot ever be fully eliminated.
Set up could not be any simpler, with a very easy to use Android app (albeit with some strangely translated English language bits here and there). After initial charging of the cameras it took me very little time to physically put them up with vinyl siding clips.
My only wish would have been that it be able to detect pets, but apparently that is a feature on another model (perhaps the pro?)
Overall I'm happy with the decision to buy this set of cameras. Not having to pay monthly for cloud storage is a huge plus, although it is an option in the app.

Human-Only motion detection is very hit or miss. Half of the delivery drivers on my front walk have been missed. It seems the people need to be within 10 feet of the camera, moving quickly, and be near the center of the frame for the camera to be activated. Setting activity zones doesn't seem to make any difference. Turning off the Human-Only feature increases motion detection but then I get lots of notifications and videos for squirrels, birds and shadows from trees in the wind. I gave two stars only because the cameras do work sometimes.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It's unusual for this product to be acting like this, and we'd love to get you what you need!
If possible, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists: 1.Adjust the installation angle and height. The right height is 7-10 feet. The depression angle should not be greater than 25 degrees. 2. Try to turn up the Detection sensitivity to the highest. Here are the steps: side menu>Camera Name>Camera Settings>Motion detection>Turn up the sensitivity 3. Delete the activity zone if it has been set up. Steps:side menu>my devices>motion detection>activity zone. 4. A picture to show the position where you want to trigger the camera 5. The exact time point when the camera missed to capture the movement. Such as November at 19:05. 6. Please download any video from the app and send it to us.

Awesome cameras. People saying battery life is not good are ridiculous. It only drains because you are constantly on it and your settings are not optimal. Overall great quality and very responsive.

The pic is great quality but it can't determine between a human or a vehicle so it always goes off. But make sure it's charged before set up. Ours is low battery at arrival, but still covers a large area.

I purchased the Arlo Pro (720P) cameras back in 2016 and they are still working fine (including the battery). However, as technology improves it was time to replace or add additional cameras to monitor my home and this Eufy model was the solution.
Pros:
1080P resolution
Easy to setup and install
Better lenses, they capture my backyard flood lighting , making an perfect videos captures at night without the need to use the camera infrared or spotlight feature.
No monthly fees
You can add as many cameras as you want to the station (Arlo have a limit of 5)
You can setup activity zones
When motion is detected is can capture the subject face
Easy to use App (similar to Arlo's)
Cons:
Batteries are no user replaceable
Neutral:
Battery life (It has been only a month since I installed them, so I can't speak about battery life in the long term).

I have been using this system for over a week and overall it is a great system. I have 2 cameras set up, one in front of the house and one on a tree in back yard.
Front camera:
It took a little fine tuning as the camera looks from above the garage onto the driveway, sidewalk, village sidewalk and street. After setting up the activity zones it took a couple days to stop getting false events when a red car would drive past. But after the AI learned (I assume that's what the delay was) it has been great. It's recognized 444 events, filtered 199 and recorded 245. The battery is still at 88%. It picks up the drive fine and detects motion from about 30ft away now on 2 of 7 sensitivity.
Rear camera:
This camera has been more of a struggle to set up. There are a couple branches in view and with activity zones set up on windy days the branches will still blow into the zone and trigger the camera. I will end up moving as it is to far away anyway but don't have a better place to put yet. This camera is at 4% battery after recognizing 6609 events, filtering 5771 and recording 838 of them.
Pros:
- Night vision is very good, not 'color' but very clear image.
- Spot light on motion is a nice deterrent and also remote turn on from app is nice
- Battery life is good. I have cameras set to record more (not optimal battery setting) and they are lasting what I had hoped. Recharging 4 times a year or less is no problem to me
- Setup was very easy. Just install next to router and cameras pair with device through sound
- Range is good. My homestation is set up in basement. One camera is about 50' away going through entire house structure. Backyard camera is set up about 80' away going through foundation.
- Microphones and speaker work well
- App is well laid out and easy to use.
- Camera's can update firmware so they should only get better with time
- System is expandable up to 16 devices
- Tons of setting (most I've seen in a camera system) you can fine tune to get exactly the results you want.
Not-pros (not really cons necessarily)
- Mount is not the greatest. It's basic and should hold up well but there really should be a 90 degree adapter included in packaging because mounting to the soffit would be much easier in most situations
- Settings take some getting use to. There is some patience required as you make adjustments and give it time to work out the details within the AI system
Setup was incredibly easy as this is completely wireless (I have home station hard lined to router but not necessary). It works exactly as I had hoped and would definitely recommend this system.

Have used this for just over a month now, Cameras have been exactly what I wanted. I am using with HomeKit secure video and set up was very simple. A couple quick call outs to help others looking into this, with the motion sensors on and HomeKit secure video, battery life does wear down faster than whats listed. Charging each camera takes just over an hour from 0-100%. My biggest complaint is with notifications, the Eufy app and Home app do not have an option yet to "disable while home" at this time. So if motion is active each time you walk by these they will turn on and notify. This wears on battery and can be slightly annoying. Other than that quality and ease of use has been wonderful and was everything I looked for in a security camera set up.

Set up was easy. Image quality is great. I’d say the furthest camera from router is outside about 20 yards away and I don’t think it would go much further. Notifications are very nice and I would highly recommend.

Quality Camera System / Exceptional Value

The Eufy eufyCam 2C 2-Cam Kit came nicely packaged. In the box you find 2 cams, the 16gb base station, 2 cam mounts, power adapter, usb cable, some Eufy security stickers, QuickStart guide, and a HomeKit setup guide. I immediately recognize that for the price this is an incredible value compared to Eufy’s main competitor. The build quality of the cameras is excellent.
Setup is so simple that anyone can do it with ease. No need to be intimidated here. The process amounts to connecting the base station to the internet, downloading the app, signing up for a free account, add the cameras, and mount them where you want them. Eufy suggests fully charging the cameras before placing them. Setup literally took me under 10 minutes. Placement and mounting takes additional time but that’s just due to getting the right positioning. The Eufy app assists you in placing the cameras so your WiFi signal is strong and it presents you with a live video preview while your placing it. Another great value with Eufy are the included 2 screw on camera mounts. The competition charges extra for these. The Eufy mounts are also well made. The 16gb base station is yet another great reason to chose this camera system. It provides your own free storage for your captured videos on the base station instead of uploading it to the cloud like the competition. No monthly fee here. The videos are also encrypted with AES-128 data encryption that makes sure they are secure.
Upon getting my cameras into position it was time to really explore the app. Here you find a multitude of settings and features. First I set my cams up to use Apple HomeKit. This was a breeze. You can also opt to use Amazon Alexa and the Google Assistant. Next I set the cams to use geofencing which uses your phone to activate recording when your away from home and deactivate it when you return home. You can also chose to set a schedule or manually arm and disarm your cameras. The app also is where you go to remotely view your live cameras. I love checking in on my property, sometimes just to see what the weather is at home. These cameras do give you a definite sense of home security. You get instant notifications when motion is detected.
The video quality is very good. I like that the Eufy 2C cameras have LED spotlights on them too which provide color night vision. You can opt to activate the spotlight automatically if motion is detected. You can also turn on the spotlights manually within the app while viewing live video. You can also opt to just use infrared night vision instead.
I highly recommend the Eufy eufyCam 2C 2-Cam kit.

Installation is easy. There is a Quick Start Guide included. Download the app (update the firmware when asked), add the home base and then add each camera. It wants you to mount a camera as you add it so be prepared. Scanning the QR code didn’t work with my phone but you can enter the code manually.
I temporarily mounted one of the cameras in a tree and it dropped connection after about 15 minutes. Then I permanently mounted it in another location and the connection held. Not sure if it was my temporary mounting or the location. Mounting was easy and even includes anchors if you need them.
There is 16GB of storage in the home base device. You can also subscribe and store data in the cloud. Be aware that if you store your data on the home base it will still be transmitted over the internet if you share recordings or view remotely (off your home network).
Indoor and daylight recordings were very clear with clear definition (1080p). The night vision works better in areas with additional lighting. In our backyard we have some adjacent lighting and the recordings were much clearer closer to that light. In the unlit area it wasn’t very clear at all.
I mounted one of the cameras in the basement and it missed a 4’8” person coming out of a room and sitting on the floor. When I viewed live, he was moving but the camera didn’t pick up the event. There was plenty of light and it should have picked him up. The camera is mounted at about 7’ and angled slightly downward toward the area he was in. You can adjust sensitivity settings in the app. But in order to detect him, I had to set the camera to detect all motion and not just human.
The outside camera also failed to recognize human motion as my husband was planting and it never located him for an hour. Only when he stood fully upright and walked toward the camera did it register. It did capture our faces in a circle on the bottom of the recordings (indoors and daylight). Sometimes those images were blurred.
Battery life is supposed to be 6 months on a full charge. We live in MN so I will be surprised if the outside camera will make it from October until April as the cold drains batteries faster. I will post an updated review when the battery dies.
We also have a Ring doorbell and Ring Floodlight Cams. Installation on those was more difficult and required hard wiring. They do pick up images and motion much better and the floodlights provide ample lighting. Eufy also makes a floodlight cam and I imagine it has better lighting than the Eufy 2C. Ring does require fees for cloud recording after your initial free trial.
No monthly fee and wireless are two of the best benefits. We paired to Alexa and that worked fine, it just took a few tries. And the wi-fi range was very good. I tested outside in several spots. The two-way audio worked very well.
Eufy is great if you want to record indoors or use in a small child’s room to see what they are up to. It enlightened me to what my special needs brother does when he is alone (opening the fridge and freezer a lot). Plus you can easily move the cameras around indoors. But outdoors the cameras still need work. They don’t pick up all human motion and the night vision only records distinguishing images if there is adequate light. The included spotlight isn’t bright enough for anything past 12’ if there is no additional lighting. NOTE - the attached video is with some additional backyard lighting and it still doesn't pickup much.

Great features and yet long battery life

These cameras are definitely over the top. First the battery life. It is amazing that they can have so many features and still provide the battery life they do. This is my second set of these. The older ones claimed a 365 day battery life and I’m almost there with them. So no reason to doubt that these won’t last the 180 days. Not sure why the shorter life. Am thinking it may very well have to do with a new feature on these, color night vision. These cameras have two very small spotlights that turn on at night when the camera senses something and lights up the view so that it’s similar to daytime viewing instead of the traditional fuzzy, black and white vision. The spotlights can be turned off which would definitely extend the battery life. But it is a very cool feature. They can be fully customized with so many options. You can choose the sensing area within the viewing area (instead of the whole area so they cannot sense something like a busy street while the street is still visible). You can program them to just sense humans or everything, or even crying (still beta). There are several options that all include the sensitivity level in addition to the already mentioned activity area. You can include or exclude two way audio, choose the length of each recording (default is 20 seconds), and so many more options/features.
The video quality is excellent. All options can be changed remotely through the app. Setup is a breeze as the home base basically talks you through the initial setup once powered on. You add devices, in this case the Cameras through the app. The system has five modes, Disarmed, Away, Home, Geofencing, and Scheduled. The Geofencing is very cool in that you can set a perimeter and once you are in that perimeter with your phone, the system automatically disarms. Each camera and the base station have an anti theft feature, that when turned on sounds an alarm and sends an alert when they are moved. There is so much to write about these Eufy cameras, but these are my highlights and favorites. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I originally purchased this camera because it offered one charged of 180 days of continuous surveillance. Well it doesn’t. I bought 3 cameras.
I charged all my cameras full battery 100% on May 20th
Today it’s June 20th and the battery life for camera number 1 is at 30%. Very disappointed.
I did place the camera in front of my garage. I did used the optimal battery life option for all cameras.
The second camera is on the side of my house and it’s the same thing the battery life on that camera is at 49%
Really false advertisement on the behalf of this company.
The third camera is facing my front door but since we hardly used that entry way the battery life on that camera is at 85%
I have determine this camera is perfect if you don’t have a lot of foot traffic or movement through out the day it could last 180 days on a single charge.
But if you live in area where there is a lot of movement through out the day such as cars passing by and people walking you will have to charged this camera every month.
I do see they offer the solar panel extension for the cameras sold separately but I would hate to have spend extra money on 3 solar panels.
Lastly, the camera quality is great the picture is very clear. I do have have a great wifi system so the cameras run smoothly the picture doesn’t freeze up etc it’s great.
