Great Smart Plug
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am really new to these smart plug, smart bulbs, etc. I read online about Eufy smart plug and thought of trying one before giving my house a “smart technology” makeover. My initial impression was it appeared nicely built, not heavy but a little big maybe because of its functionality. As soon as I plugged it in and switched it on, I could hear a clicking sound like a light switch click. Maybe it was a circuit breaker inside the plug or something that makes the sound. It has been working fine for past couple of weeks and has not shown any overheating issues, humming sound, etc. It easily integrates with eufyhome app and is very easy to control through the app that also helps you track energy usage of devices and set operating schedules. I was also able to easily integrate with Amazon Alexa and now I can just walk into room and ask Alexa to switch on the lights on my night stand. I am using it control the lamps on my night stand and have been very happy with the ease of use. I would highly recommend this smart plug.

Slick design with lovely energy dashboard!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1. The app is very easy to pair and use. 2. I love the "schedule" feature and it works really well. I set it to turn off at 11PM everyday so I never worry about leaving the lights on at night wasting energy. On the contrary, the old Wemo product I used is very buggy and was not able to save schedule due to some bug in their app. 3. The usage summary is an absolutely fantastic way to get power consumption insight of the appliance I'm using! 4. The unit only uses 0.5 watts/hour when idle. (The old Wemo uses more than double the energy, 1.2w) 5. It works great with Alexa for voice control!
