Customers admire the excellent video quality, ease of use, and impressive battery life of the Smart Wi-Fi Video Doorbell. Many also appreciate the straightforward installation process and the included storage options. However, some users find the motion detection unreliable and experience delays in notifications or app response. A few also commented on the doorbell's larger size compared to wired models.

I had to switch from wired to wireless after a transformer fail with the wires that would have caused us to remove drywall to repair. SO wireless it is! This was easy to install quickly. I put the homebase on top of my fridge. I also paired it with Alexa. It is very convenient because when I am working upstairs, my Alexa dot announces the doorbell ring and my phone instantly gives me an alert that I can click on to see the image of who is at the door. I have an Alexa View that I can say "Alexa, show me the front porch" and there is a 1-minute lag on displaying the picture but that is due to my Alexa. My Eufy phone app gives an immediate alert and displays the view when I click on it. When I need to recharge (probably not for a few months), I can plug it into the base and apparently it charges back up in a few hours. I haven't had to even think about that yet.

I chose this brand because it was the only one that didnt require me to pay for the hardware AND a monthly subscription. Why would i pay the almost the same price for Ring when they bleed you for money? I watched video comparisons on quality, range, and battery life. (Because i am lazy and dont like cords). I thought these Eufy cameras were going to be great, but i didnt expect them them to be as good as theyve been to me. The last owner of our home had a regular old school chime door bell installed. I was able to save the battery usage and just hot wire this baby straight to the old wires. So with this particular product, you can choose the battery option or hardwire if its already there. I thought that was nice.

Five minutes to install this wireless doorbell. Station is easy to setup. App has most functions that I need. Installed about 1.5 months, and the doorbell has 60% battery remaining. Best of all, no monthly fee.

So far so good, a lot of my friends are impressed with how clear the camera is and I love the fact that I don't have to worry about a monthly subscription. I know a lot of the monthly/annual subscription don't cost too much but its one less thing I have to worry about. I also like the fact that you have an option to hardwire or battery operate it. This pretty much has everything that I wanted and I was a little iffy to buy it at first cause I had never owned any eufy products before and I love everything about it so far.
I got a little frustrated trying to set it up but it was my fault for not reading the instruction manual. The trick is to set it up close to your router/hub.

Works great! My wiring was not working with the ring pro due to a shortage so I had to switch over to a wireless doorbell. The wireless ring was too bulky to fit into the space but this fit was perfect, especially with the wedge piece angling off the camera. The video is crisp and I was able to adjust the sensitivity. The app is very user friendly and setup took less than 5 minutes. I suggest charging it the night before install for a full battery. It notes a 6 hour charging period to fill the charge from 0% but it does come with some battery charge. Excellent product and a slightly cheaper alternative to a ring.

Video and audio quality are good, but usually by the time the camera detects motion, the person has already reached the door and/or is walking away (typically when someone drops off a flyer or package). Not a huge deal, but didn’t quite meet my expectations. There have been a handful of times where a package is delivered and no alert was given, I think if they are quick enough the camera doesn’t even register the person, or it starts recording after they have left. Hopefully a software update can fix this issue.

A great true HD video doorbell that has a wireless chime feature for like me without pre existing doorbell to connect to. The main small footprint base unit acts as chime ,and brains, and used to recharge camera and other equipment you integrated from eufy. I added a window sensor at purchase. But will be adding their wireless flood lights/camera to garage exterior.
I use Google for my integration at home so eufy being Google friendly was deciding factor. Plus NO MONTHLY FEE!! Unlike the rest including Googles own new doorbell camera. Shame. They lost a sale.

Decent clarity and picture quality. Sound is meh. Battery lasts me around 90 days on a charge, but I do it set for maximum recording time and live on a fairly busy road.
The biggest complaint I have with this unit is it relies on the internet. If the internet goes down, even if your local network is up and running just fine, you will not be able to access your video. Even though all of the footage is stored on the base station.

I have owned this product for almost 6 months. It does exactly what I want it to. The installation was very simple. I have it hooked up to my doorbell wires and therefore do not need to charge the battery. The video looks great. The response time is excellent. I also love all of the options for customization. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of competing products; however, I really did not want to pay a monthly fee and will gladly take a step back in function in order to only pay for a product once.

This doorbell does it all without subscription. I tryied other doorbells that blocks features to make you pay monthly. So far im liking it, its fast responsive and has very good quality. The app is very good and its straight foward and even helps you install it. Also the battery built in feature is very useful in case you previous door bell was in a bad spot so it can be place anywhere else. Smart move Eufy made in making your videos be stored locally so no worries in having your data be collected. Definitly worth it and you will look no further for a doorbell.

Excellent product.
Checks all boxes of what product claims to perform.
Couple drawbacks:
1. advertised battery life is for power saving mode. Be ready to charge every 3 month when choosing to 'optimize surveillance' option.
2. Lag could be improved.
Overall a carefree doorbell. Set it, use it and forget it.
Also you can add addon camera to this homebase. Homebase opens up a lot of possibilities.
Eufy is solid system that could be more expensive to get started but pays off in long run in zero recurring costs.

After charging the doorbell, downloading the Eufy app. The setup went well by following the instruction book and app. Best part of this doorbell system is NO FEE for file storage. All events are stored on the homebase and are quickly viewable via the app. The doorbell camera adjusts very well for the lighting conditions, from direct sunlight to night the video is crisp. App notifications are quick when someone enters the adjustable detection field of the doorbell.

I started off w/another product that most people buy and after learning about the subscription and add-on costs I went w/a EUFY. Really happy I did. Easier to install. Great quality. Comes w/a hard drive.
My concern is more w/watching outside than w/breakins. Having the hard drive would make me need to lock it up otherwise. The screen may be a tad more narrow than the other brand I had but hardly more than a ft or two. This works great w/the add-on cameras I’ve bought.

This doorbell replaced a ring stick up cam. Ring’s too pricey and not very high quality. The anker brand has created a good name for a reason. The manuals are still a little rough on the edges, However the products are solid. With local storage and no monthly fees, the service is excellent. The doorbell is snappy and lag free. Picture quality, capture timing, motion sensitivity, and battery life — all are good. Comes with hardware for wiring to the existing door bells.

Easy install and connection to existing doorbell wiring. I had to modify the mounting to the house to account for lapped siding. Would be nice if it came with a set of longer screws or used a standard screw that could be purchased at the hardware store. Both doorbell and base needed a firmware update but was smooth. I set the base unit up in my basement next to the router. No issues with distance or additional eufy cameras connecting to the base. Video and audio quality are very good.
