Customers admire the excellent video quality, ease of use, and impressive battery life of the Smart Wi-Fi Video Doorbell. Many also appreciate the straightforward installation process and the included storage options. However, some users find the motion detection unreliable and experience delays in notifications or app response. A few also commented on the doorbell's larger size compared to wired models.

I got this from my favorite store bestbuy, however when I was ready to install it I noticed that there is no security for the doorbell outside. It only has a regular click that is easy to stole it. I emailed eufy and they apologized saying that I was right and they are working on it. Let me tell the quality of the camera is amazing but I didn't want to risk $200 . I had to return it. Sorry but I got one for $59 with a special lock and is working perfect.

Fantastic image quality. Battery life is great. If WiFi goes down it stores the videos until it returns and then displays them in the app!

Can I just say that it took me at most 10 minutes to setup!! That's crazy fast and easy. It honestly took longer to setup an account w Eufy. But it was seem less. I can access from anywhere and there is zero fees and subscriptions. I love it.
I highly recommend it. It is very good about detecting and alerting my phone. I even linked it to my google home and it was super easy. So I can access from 2 places. This makes more sense than the non battery. Same price but this one has a battery and I can still hook it up to an existing doorbell

I spent some time checking reviews before choosing the Eufy video doorbell. This model has been working well to notify us of persons near our front door (most often us). Videos are clear, even in limited light. One deciding feature for us was that the doorbell includes a base unit which records and saves the short videos for review. I tend to erase the days videos each evening, but if needed I could save any critical videos without cloud service.

I purchased the Eufy Wireless Video Doorbell (Battery-Powered) with 2K HD. Let me give you my quick review.
Attached to my electric panel, I have an old Heath Zenith EM57580 Transformer.
According to Google, it is a 16V 10VA Transformer.
This single transformer powers three doorbells (front, two rear) and an analog chime. Since I have this existing wiring, I used the wired option to power the doorbell.
The old transformer worked! I have had no low power alerts or a problem of any kind using my Heath Zenith EM57580 Transformer.
The doorbell chime and the other two doorbells also function.
My Homebase 2 is ethernet hardwired into an unmanaged switch that is connected to my Eero mesh wifi system. The Homebase 2 is located approximately 25 feet from the front door and in the two weeks the system has been running has never lost a connection.
One thing I would recommend BEFORE buying any smart/security camera is to make sure your wifi system is strong and working reliably. I cannot imagine the the headaches the cameras would bring if the wifi isn’t functioning at one hundred percent.
My one issue-
When operating the Eufy and responding to a doorbell ring, there are two delays I wish could be addressed.
1) It takes 5 to 25 seconds to get a live doorbell camera view after one answers the “doorbell ring” phone notification and opens the Eufy Security app.
2)The is a delay of about 5 seconds when one uses the intercom function to speak and respond to the person who rang the doorbell.
In the big picture, these delays really aren’t that bad and are the definition of “first world problems.” With 1, it would take just as long (maybe longer) for me to walk to the front door if I was on another floor of the house. Two really isn’t that big either.
Still, I think these could be addressed since all this doorbell data is being routed locally. I can run concurrent streams of transcoded 4k video from my server in my attic with no delay. Why can’t the doorbell work the same?
Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. We answered the door from the mall!
I highly recommend it and with no subscription fees it is a no brainer.

Great Door Bell Easy to install and keep in mind that this one can be WIRED too. I'm surprised they don't announce that in big letters because its both wired and battery operated. Also this one stores the footage inside your house on the hub rather than the doorbell itself like the wired only version so I think its a better option. Also no fees good recording, but the person detection stuff is not very good but I've compromised to only using the motion detection in an action area which is ok with me.

I had brought the ring indoor, out door cameras which didn’t work at all for me, also the door bell ring but it didn’t work in the area I wanted to put it. So I saw a review about eufy products so I decided to try the doorbell and I’m very happy with the quality of the product, the videos are great ,and very clear. My only little disappointment is there is no extra plate to aim the doorbell facing down, just to angle to the left or right. But I do hope they will keep coming out with more security items.

So far, so good except that the battery life is nowhere near a year. We've had it up for a little over a month and I've already had to recharge it.
Granted, we live on a street with quite a bit of foot traffic and since it's very easy to take down to recharge, I don't mind the short battery life.
Set up and mounting was very easy. We ended up using the angle bracket so it gets more of the porch and less of the wall that it's mounted next to.
There is no sound delay, but there is a bit of a delay if you want to open the app when someone actually rings the doorbell. Typically, delivery folks just ring and run, so by the time I open the app to view and talk with them, they're already gone.
That's the least of my concerns though, b/c it's most important for me to get alerts and video.
FYI, we have a 3 story house. Our router is at the back of the house on the top floor. With the doorbell on the ground floor at the front of the house, the distance was a bit too far and video was choppy. Thinking that an ethernet connection would be most stable, I tried this set up first.
When that wasn't ideal, I tried moving the homebase to ethernet connect with one of our TP-Link mesh units. It was better, but unfortunately, all our mesh units were also located in the rooms at the back of our house.
Third try was running the homebase wirelessly and placing it in the front room just one floor above the doorbell and an outdoor camera.
Perfect! Strong and stable connection.
* * we've since added another exterior camera to the system and using the app was easy as can be.
! ! one star deduction for the misleading claim by Eufy that these units are Google Home compatible. The only thing it allows you to do with Google Home units is view live stream. Huge disappointment that I'm not able to view clips or get alerts while working on my computer. I've downloaded the app using BlueStacks and it gives a constant "unable to connect" error.

Working very well on battery power. There is no perceptible lag, which was a concern of mine with prior battery powered video doorbells I had used.
Video and audio quality is superb. I can hear my neighbors across the street loud and clear with the mics on this thing.
The software is really easy to use and has proven to be reliable on my Android phone.
The hub's speaker is loud and clear whenever someone rings the doorbell.

My first video doorbell camera. Not impressed. Works as a doorbell just fine. Clear picture. Quick response. The motion detection is pretty useless. I’ve had delivery drivers leave packages in front of my door and it doesn’t pick them up. On the other hand this thing has what I like to call temper tantrums. It will go off every 5 minutes sporadically throughout the day and when I watch the recording there is no motion. No cars, no people, no animals. I’ve stood right in front of the thing and it will not detect me sometimes but I guess it sees ghosts all the time. Another thing is you have to set its motion detection to either human only or everything. I would like to be able for it to detect a vehicle that pulls into our driveway but for that you have to select everything then you get notifications every minute of the day for a leaf blowing in the yard. I wouldn’t mind if I paid $100 for the actual doorbell function with recording but for $200 I will be returning

This is our first video doorbell, but there are other devices for several friends/family. For the local recording and greater control over what is sent to the cloud, we chose this one. A deciding factor also was a fast installation. After making sure I had the 5 GHz band on my router switched off, the doorbell was really easy to set up. Just 2.4ghz will bind to it. I turned back on the 5ghz band after having all setup and the link has since been rock-solid.
The set-up was a snap. I had our old-school wired doorbell replaced by a battery doorbell and a remote chime (it was just a ringing bell in the basement). If I left the wires in, I couldn't remember how open they would be, and if they were even the right voltage to wire them up. I never found the wires, so we just stuck with the option of a battery. You can mount this doorbell if you're able to drill a hole. With simple instructions, it's very, very quick.
With default options for battery or surveillance optimization, the software is well built and simple to use. We live in a busy area and use the "Dynamic Surveillance" mode that has recently been introduced. In order to exclude our busy sidewalk, we also have an activity zone package. The battery drain is about 5%/day. The app ai does a fine job of filtering out fake hits. In the 47 days, we've had this doorbell, only two deliveries I'm aware of have been missed. Notifications arrive very quickly on the phone. The HomeBase holds 14.5 GB of recordings, which is 686 recordings at 13.7 GB for 47 days.
Integration with Alexa is okay. On the Echo Show, there's a long video pause. We use it just to announce when there is a ring of the doorbell. I know that the doorbell supports HomeKit as well, but I still don't have it set up.
