While it may offend fans of the eureka seven series, its changes mean to tell a new story.

Love this anime I had to get the movie and see what was it all about.

A different twist on the Eureka Seven story line..

I felt partially cheated since the so-called extras on the DVD are just a bunch of trailers. During & after the credits at the theater there were bloopers, many intentional and hilarious, and also a behind the scenes making of the movie...none of which was included on the DVD. Otherwise the film was well made with an interesting twist of character personalities and development, and a brand new plot. I honestly did not realize the movie was a mixture of old footage from the TV series & new scenes just for the movie. The voice actors do an excellent job of fitting back into their roles, especially the voice actors whose characters have a change in personality and attitude. The movie did remove or change two of my favorite characters but this was necessary for the new story plot line. If you haven't seen the TV series..watch or buy the TV series first since the movie has a plot just as/if not more complex than the TV series yet the movie covers the plot/story in a much shorter time frame and thus leaves out some details. While I recommend watching the series first..overall, you will enjoy this movie regardless.

If you seen the Eureka Seven TV series then you should see this movie. I just hope this is the in english and not jappeness. I seen this movie in english sub and that about it so far, but this is a good movie and I love the way everthing is turned around. I not going to say what is turn around and all, but if seen the Eureka Seven TV series then you should have no problems figuring it out. And yes there is still that romance that Renton and Eureka have for one another. This movie still has the robots fighting and all that, but in the movie mankind did not leave Earth like they did in the TV series. But if you watch this movie you will notices scenes from the TV series. But hey, it's Bones movie and there the ones who made Eureka Seven, so to me it works out good. And the ending was very unexpected and good I mean you just don't see it coming, or maybe it's just me. One thing is for sure though it put a tier in my eye. And this is my opinion but I thought that the movie ending was better than the TV series. Don't get me wrong I like the ending of "Wish apon a star" but to me it seem like they leafed out what happen to Renton and Eureka. In the movie they didn't so that's why I going to get it whan it comes out on DVD in the U.S. and if you are a fan of Eureka Seven you should a leased see it if you haven't already.

Well this movie was different from the tv series completely.a few things were tough to understand without an explanation even with seeing the series.overall though i did end up liking it as much as the original series

Eureka Seven the movie is a fantastic movie for fans and newcomers of the series. It features most of the characters from the TV show and makes many refrences to it.
