Plot: Follow, Renton a teenager trapped working as a mechanic in a backwater town. He dreams of joining up with a daredevil group of pilots known and make his own footsteps in life. When a mysterious girl named Eureka shows up asking for a tune-up for a mech, Renton soon finds himself drawn into a high-flying mech dogfight that makes him a target. When the dust settles on the spectacular battle, Renton is invited to join Eureka and her teammates and follow his dreams, but he soon discovers that following his ambition and falling in love, just like dreams have a dark side. Specs: The presentation actually looks surprisingly decent if not fantastic: Colors here are vivid and nicely saturated and the interlaced presentation doesn't really drastically affect the overall image quality. Overall, this offers an acceptably sharp and well detailed viewing experience. The Blu-ray, includes both sub and dub in Japanese and in English. Both sound nicely rambunctious and detailed, with excellent reproduction of both dialogue and sound effects, Dialogue remains well prioritized even in noisy segments. One issue that may be noticed is are the subtitles: about 95% the subtitles are on point with the dialogue and for the other 5%, the subtitles are worded in an odd way, but are not straight-out wrong, an example would be when the spoken dialogue is "We gotta move, if not we're in a big mess" meanwhile the subtitles will instead say "We have to move, if not we are going to be in big trouble." Luckily, this only happens a few times but realistically it's not too bad and can be looked and also happen with the Japanese subtitles as well. Physical Presentation: The series is put into 10 disks: 9 of which are Blu-Ray and 1 is a DVD, which is slightly odd, but is not a major issue by any means, the DVD in question is a disc with 1 set of extras, that are of cast interviews and holds no episode content. All 10 disks are in a standard Blu-ray "multi" case: which is a larger variation of the usual Blu-ray keep case and is put in a thin cardboard sleeve. Overall, a great anime series on an excellent complete Blu-ray release and worth a solid purchase!

Good anime but the blue ray collection lacks full screen/wide screen support.

This set is great in value and content, but this is not a full Bluray set. You get 1 DVD among the blurays, and while it's for extras, it's kinda weird they couldn't make it completely one format.

I happened across this anime while browsing my local Best Buy. I often see other shows for $40 for part of a collection, so this was a definite purchase for $50 for the entire anime series.

This animation has 50 episodes. It sounds very long but the story and animation drawing style are awesome, so it feels so short when you actually watch them. I watched the entire episode several years ago and finally bought the series!!

What can I say Eureka Seven is a great Mecha Anime, love it and have watched it multiple times. Wanted to add it to my personal collection.

One of my favorite anime shows of all time. I only wish this had a digital hd code with it, but overall the price and product are great

This show deserves six stars. Me and my wife have been looking for the complete series and thanks to Best Buy we have it now

This anime has some cool action scenes, but for me there were to many slow parts within the story.

This blue ray set should have had both dvd and blue ray together. I am very disappointed because it not DVDs blue ray combo. The characters are okay. But this anime classic is be rating 3 stars.
