Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the H4 Glasses For Your Ears Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones, particularly praising the sound quality and comfort. Many customers commented on how well-made the headphones feel and how comfortable they are to wear for extended periods. The unique EarPrint feature is also a hit, with users convinced that it enhances the overall sound experience. While there are a few minor complaints about the app, volume, and cable length, these are overshadowed by the overwhelmingly positive feedback.

I’m more of an earbuds type of guy, but there are some occasions when over-the-ear headphones are a better option; I’m looking at you airports and coffee shops. Cue the Even H4 Wireless Headphones. DESIGN - These headphones are available in two finishes: matte black and wood grain. The only difference between the two is the outside of the over-ear portion of the design. I have and love the look of the wood grain version. It has a walnut-looking stain and feels more welcoming. Plus, the wood grain version doesn’t have the big Even “E” logo on the sides like the matte black version. There is also an included semi-hard carrying/storage case. FIT – The Even H4s are what you might expect with over-the-ear headphones of this class. The cushions around the ears feel fine. They’re not too hard or too squishy—just fine. I feel like they will hold up for quite some time. The band over the head is also padded. Overall, I didn’t feel any fatigue more than I would expect from over-the-ear headphones. CONNECTIVITY - Sporting Bluetooth 5.0, these headphones can easily connect to a variety of devices, including smartphones and computers. I tried these bad boys on my iPhone, iPad Pro, and desktop computer. While I feel they performed better with my phone, I would say there’s setting on my desktop that I’m missing that affects how well it could perform. So with that said, I’ll judge this based on how it works with my phone and tablet. Pairing is easy, as you connect these wirelessly through the Bluetooth settings of your devices. Once connected, you’re ready to go. If you’re also interested in a wired method, these do come with a 3.5mm cable to connect to your audio devices. Charging is easy with a [now seemingly standard] USB-C cable. SOUND – Off the bat, these sound great with 40mm drivers. The over-the-ear design helps with sound isolation. Before anything, though, I would suggest you download the Even EarPrint App to your phone. This is how you can go through Even’s “EarPrint” analysis of your ears to create a custom sound setting based on your individual hearing ability. You can also adjust additional onboard settings from the Even App, including low battery and pairing alerts, and auto-sleep timers. FINAL IMPRESSIONS – While I mentioned that these headphones sounded fabulous, I wish there was a customizable audio setting. For example, like many headphones on the market, you can adjust the EQ settings based on the different types of music you’re enjoying. While the H4s do adjust its settings based on your unique hearing ability, I’m totally missing the opportunity to change the EQs for customized genres such as for listening to Classical music or something more base-y like EDM. Other than that, these headphones feel great, have a more than ample battery life, and even use USB-C (which is a plus these days). I would say these are a worthy contender for consideration in the price category.

This is my first pair of headphones. I never had a need for a pair before but now that I am working from home a pair of headphones were a must. These were a great price, less than $35. I bought a pair for me and a pair for my daughter and we both love them. My hearing is not the best and these work very well for me. I set up the hearing profile and it was super easy. Also, my daughter and I have found them comfortable to wear. I actually returned a pair of Beats headphones that I had bought for my daughter before getting this pair for her. She said the Beats were too tight on her head. I would highly recommend thes headphones.

although I haven't tried out the over-the-ear headphones personally, I think the quality is pretty good. The wireless function is the reason I purchased this item for my kids.

I dig the warm sound of these Even H4 headphones. The highs and mids are nicely clear and crisp. Bass is tight and punchy. Bass heads may prefer a more bass heavy brand but I feel these do a great job of keeping frequencies even and balanced. I can enjoy genres like hip hop, reggae, EDM and R&B with these without the flat lifeless response you get with cans truly lacking proper bass. These headphones aren’t noise cancelling, so outside sounds and noise can be heard. However, it has to be pretty loud to interfere with listening. Comfort is pretty good. The cups and headband are both comfortably soft. Styling is compact and conservative. I’m personally not a big fan of the woodgrain outsides of the cups but it does offer a different and uncommon styling option. A sturdy protective carrying case is included and has more than enough interior space to carry the headphones, charging cable and even a small AC wall charger if desired. A 3.5mm audio cable is included. It allows a wired “passive mode” connection that allows the headphones to be used even if the battery is fully drained. It also allows them to be used when Bluetooth is not an option, like when flying. Battery life is more than sufficient for my use. I typically listen 1.5-2 hours per day and these headphones last me at least a solid week between charges. The charging port is USB-C format. A USB-C charging cable is included but no charger. I paired the cable with a spare AC phone cube to save myself the slow and inconvenient chore of charging through a USB port. The “Earprint” app is basically a fancy named EQ that allows tailoring frequencies to specific listening styles and creating listening profiles. I’m satisfied with the sound of these headphones right out of the box. I feel they are already nicely balanced for my eclectic tastes and I like how no frequency overpowers another. For those who prefer a more uniquely tailored listening experience, the app will help achieve optimal listening profiles. I like the H4, particularly how well it performs against similarly priced headphones that I own. It offers a nice combo of comfort, build quality and sound quality. For those who like the woodgrain finish more than I do, I guess styling can be thrown in there as well.
