The grill itself is very nice. It heats and cooks as advertised and looks amazing. The challenge I have is it arrived with three out of 4 broken brackets, which fasten the grill to the cart. I didn’t want to return the whole thing (massive box and materials) so I reported it to Everdure through the online process they have and asked them to replace the brackets. They never responded. The string on the propane tank net (mostly decorative) was cut. Also asked to replace that. Nothing. For the money, I would expect more. My rating and comments are mostly due to poor support from Everdure, and bad engineering of the brackets.

Overall, I love this barbecue. It’s very well-built in terms of the hood, the actual grill, and just overall cooking quality. I do have a few gripes about the way the stand was designed as well as how you have to mount the propane tank. I’ll get to that later though, let’s talk about the good stuff first.
First off, this is a little bit different barbecue style than I’m used to having. I usually have the kind that you buy on sale from the local hardware store. I’m used to it having multiple, straight burners, high sides, and an upper rack. On the flipside this Everdure has only two square burners, it’s completely open on the sides, and it doesn’t have an upper rack. I love all of these things.
The square burners, in my opinion, offer a much more even cooking surface, plus we’re talking cast-iron grills, so they get hot and they sear your food well. The high sides of a traditional barbecue mean that it’s hard to reach in and use the full space of the grill. I love the flat open surface you have to work with on the Everdure and frankly don’t miss the upper rack at all. I rarely used it and don’t find it’s needed on a grill like this.
Now it’s time to get to some of the things I wasn’t so big on. First of all, putting the stand together was incredibly difficult. I’ve put a lot of furniture and other things together and have never struggled to understand directions so much. I found them very difficult to follow and the pictures weren’t much help. I also don’t understand why so many different size screws were needed or why circular rods were used instead of square ones with notches. Trying to get the shelves onto those round bars that kept moving and turning the wrong direction was incredibly frustrating. I also don’t understand why you wouldn’t have a dedicated spot in the stand for a propane tank. Yes, the shelves are notched for it and there is a strap. But you have to hold the propane tank in place in order to tighten the straps or it’ll just fall right over. If you’re going to design a space for it like that, why not just put a place in the shelf in the first place that holds it up properly?
Despite a few frustrations, this is still an excellent grill that puts out awesome food. I recommend it but hope Everdure takes into account some of the comments on the stand, instructions, and propane tank placement for future designs.

Hadn’t ever heard of this grill when we got it, but it is everything it was promoted to be and more. First the ugly. Assembly was quite challenging. Seems to be a trend with grills. Lots and lots of parts. This is not a one hour project, but more of an afternoon. However eventually it all came together and looks great. Looks are one thing, but performance is another, and this grill excels at performance. It cooks extremely evenly, heats up very quickly, and generally makes grilling a breeze. Not real sure what the Force Furnace means, but it certainly works. It appears they sell force grills and furnace grills, but whatever that means, this one has both. I assume it is the burners and grill plates as they are different than many, many gas grills we have had in the past. The burners are not straight, but curve around and kind of make a square. There are two of them. The grill plates are uniquely designed also. Whatever the science behind them, they work perfectly. We’ve had it approximately two weeks and have grilled steaks, burgers, ribs, chicken thighs, wings, and more. Everything cooks so evenly and perfectly. While putting it together it was obvious that this was a high quality product. It is built very well and I would expect it to last for years. It has electronic start, but no starter button. When you turn the burners on they automatically light. No push button needed. While not totally foolproof (sometimes you have to turn the knob off and on a couple of times before it lights), it really is not a big deal and often lights the first time. Both knobs (we have two burner) work independently and either can be turned on to light the grill as the lighter straddles both. The knobs themselves are extremely modern looking. Not your usual round grill knob. They are more of in the shape of a lever and much easier to grab and turn. The opposite shelf has a very clever kind of spring loaded latch that allows it to be folded down or raised and locked in the upright position securely. There are two very large shelves under the grill, enough to store more grilling equipment than most people would ever have. Two of the legs have wheels that spin 360° which makes moving it a breeze. They also lock securely. The cover is very thick and feels very durable, again unlike other grill covers we have had. There are Velcro fasteners to secure the cover, but it fits so well and is so heavy that we have yet to use the fasteners. I could go on, but you get the idea. There is really nothing of any negative significance to say about this grill. It’s built well, works superbly, and looks great. Highly, highly recommend.

Fantastic Grill, Terrible Documentation

This is an absolutely fantastic grill, whose only drawback was the terrible instructions provided for assembly. So just right off the bat, the instructions are overly complicated and in some instances, outright wrong. None of the hardware is labeled, so I had to just use process of elimination for some of the first screws. It says that some of it will come assembled already, and that you'll have to take it apart (why this makes any sense is beyond me), but luckily, it already came unassembled, which caused some confusion why I had extra screws in my bag, and why I wasn't seeing certain parts that were in the instructions. The worst was when I was installing the legs for the stand, it told me to put two different legs in the Rear Right position. Of course, I could just use process of elimination to see that that was not right. However, even following all the instructions as best as I could, I still had to take the legs off a flip them around because they weren't lying flush with the ground. I'm the kind of guy who actually likes to use the instructions when putting something together, but for the first time in my life, I think I would've been better off just winging it.
Now that that's out of the way, this is actually a really nice grill. It is super modern and sleek looking, and is well built. The stand is a little cheap feeling for my taste, but not so cheap to really knock off points. The one thing that really gets me is the "storage" solution they have for the propane tank. It literally just sits about halfway on the stand and is held on my a strap. Yeah, a strap. It looks and feels super clunky and not at all what I would expect from an otherwise very nice grill. It's almost like it was an afterthought, like they were done designing it, and some intern came in and said "ooh, nice, where does the propane tank go?" Not a big issue, but something that was definitely overlooked. My last issue with it is that there really isnt a great place to hang utensils. Just a coupe small hooks here or there would've been nice. As far as the most important part goes, that's where this thing really shines. It's performances is unmatched. This thing heats up faster than any grill I've ever used. It went from cold to ready to cook in under 5 minutes. And it did an awesome job cooking. It handles flareups very nicely. I cooked some sausage on it, which tend to give me a lot of flareups on other grills, and here, you'll get a small fare up which almost instantly goes away on it's own. I love it, because I cook a lot of sausage, and it'll be nice not to have to constantly be moving and turning it like I used to. Lastly, cleanup is pretty nice too. There aren't too many parts to have to worry about, and the grease trap is removable and disposable. That's actually a nice touch since my last grill's grease trap rusted through in less than a year.
So in conclusion, this is an absolutely fantastic grill where it counts. There are some minor quirks that hold it back just a bit, but the biggest misstep is the assembly instructions. Luckily, that is something that is one and done and you never have to worry about it again.

Sturdy, versatile grill-but lacks features

Overall
A sturdy well-built grill with a unique design that allows removal from the stand for portable grilling. I don’t think I’ll find myself grilling on a mountain top off the tailgate of my truck, but knowing that I can with this grill is pretty awesome. The grill itself heats and cooks very quickly, so much so that the majority of the time I’ve used the lowest heat setting to cook everything from hamburger patties, hot dogs, sausage links, carne asada, and fire-grilled chicken. For those that may be more versatile in their grilling may find that the lack of an upper grill is a slight disappointment. I’ve used the other half of the grill with the burners off to get a similar result for bread and jalapeno poppers. But after a quick search, I learned that Everdure offers a separate grill tray that covers this area. A slight disappointment to say the least. That said, there were a small number of hiccups with this grill that I’ll further explain.
For starters, I’m also aware that some package inconsistencies were mentioned in the accompanying product material, the instructions could use a bit of clarifying. Better explanations of some of the parts such as the metal rods that are apparently supposed to be bent to fit. The details surrounding the screws that fix the grill top to the stand. This was the most problematic for me as I noticed it after I was almost done assembling and had to pull it off to confirm the pre-installed “stated” screws were in fact not there. They came in the bag with all the other screws/washers. As mentioned above, however, there was some additional documentation that mentioned it may come in packaging not consistent with the retail version.
Aside from the instruction inconsistencies, I noted a limited number of craftsmanship issues. For instance, 1 of the aluminum legs wasn’t properly drilled to spec with the top plastic molding. It was off by a few millimeters which made assembly impossible without some modifications. Another issue arose from the top rack which screws into the support beams that support the main aluminum legs. Another few millimeters for it to screw in properly. The last, more of a design flaw, the screws/washer combination included to hold the handle is not good. The fiberglass washers don’t do much other than preventing some scratches. I had to add some lock washers to help the handle held in place. Otherwise, after a few openings and closings of the hood, the handle would begin to wiggle.
All issues aside, the grill is an amazing product if you are willing to change your grilling style. The option of removing the grill top from the legs to take it on the road is a huge plus. The biggest downside is the meticulous cleaning (right after you finish while still warm) required after each use. Makes me not want to use it except for when we are grilling for a large group. If grilling a steak or 2, this becomes a pretty big issue.

As far as cooking, it cooks like a charm. Food comes out great. Assembly was a bit complicated. Cleaning it can be time consuming, but that goes for any grill. This one is solid, grates are heavy and sturdy.

Literally, it's solid. Die-cast aluminum construction provides a nice heft. The grill lid looks pretty compact, and it is. The grill came in two separate boxes, with the main grill + accessories such as flat cast iron plates, and the legs + trays in another box. The grill can be used as a portable grill if you remove/unattach the silver legs.
The legs themselves have a tilt to roll design, with castors on two legs only. This helps keep the grill from rolling around when set up, but it does mean you have to partially lift the solid aluminum body.
The Force uses propane, but we had a natural gas line pre-set in our backyard, so I bought a separate Heston natural gas conversion kit. Very easy to install, but I did read the instructions prior to attempting.
Once all set, the grill sits firmly, no wobble. The knobs feel premium, which should be expected at this price point. Lighting was easy given it was gas, and the grill only took a few minutes to reach the set temp.
Also, Everdure included a cover which is nice. I keep the grill on my back patio, but there have been some strong storms in my area, and even though the aluminum is supposed to never rust, I'd rather not leave such an expensive and nice-looking grill just sitting exposed.
