Works flawlessly for capturing switch gameplay, very little set up required, two cables to the pc and one to the output device. I can’t believe I considered and Elgato for over $140 before I, luckily, was recommended this. For the money, it does everything I want and for a whole lot less than the most popular alternative. If you need to stream or record console gameplay or other HDMI output, this is probably the best value capture card I have seen. Definitely recommend.

I got this because the other capture card I had was to much work to install and adjust so got this one because it was easy to install and didn't have to adjust.

Does exactly what it says. I had no issues with setup and it’s working great in OBS. I happed to catch it on sale which was great as I just wanted a capture card to stream in a discord group and be able to play my switch in a PC window.

This capture card was a bit difficult to set up lol. The instructions really don’t go into detail of what to do lol. I had to look up the actual device website to get a good tutorial on how to do the cap card to my stream. But over all it’s been great no issue what do ever.

It works ok, but has audio sync issues

This capture device is ok, but definitely not great. It does come with everything you need, so that's a plus. Just take it out of the box, plug it in, and go. The video and audio quality are good on their own. The biggest letdown is the audio sync issues. I have gone through everything EVGA provides (yes, updated the firmware that supposedly fixed the issue) and nothing fixes the audio sync issue. I suppose this is fine if you're recording video for use later, and you can adjust A/V sync during processing, but for live use, it's unusable. My experience has been almost a full second of lag, which is really disorienting.

This device works very well. I had an issue with an HDCP lock when trying to record over Open Broadcasting Software (OBS). After learning I had to download an additional HDCP unlocker software from the EVGA site I was eventually able to get camera feed through it. No complaints with the actual video quality.

I purchased this to use with OBS while live streaming, but I am having a hard time trying to get it to work. It tells me no video while everything is connected the correct way and there is no volume. I have tried to reach out to the company, but no customer service number listed. Not sure what to do.

After having looked around at several different capture cards, I decided to go with the EVGA XR1 Lite. Which I don't regret one bit, it's one of the best budget capture cards you can get for your money.
